Ok,for some time i'm very upset because i just can't do pavillions.I had the nirvana weapon, now i have glaive of nirvana and i still can't.Mobs are gathering me and i become nervous because of the head and eventually with 5 mobs on me and the head i die:))I don't know if it still because of my gear or because i'm just stupidb:surrender
I'm using Nature's Vengeance on mobs and mistress who DDs also on them and for the head Bramble Tornado>Listless Blossom>Lysing. But mistress always dies and i must summon her again and i lose time this way.It is very annoying when i see wizards gear lower than me who can do pavillions without any problem....below is my built
http://pwcalc.com/21b569ebd628a1e1
Please tell me guys if it is because of my gear or because of meb:sad And mystics beside fire can do other pavillions?

Your hp is so low, the head obviously one shots you and the mobs probably kill you whenever they explode.
    I advise refining.

    You must do something wrong.

I personally put my mistress on manual mode.

For head I keep it away with Bramble Tornado then Listless Blossom then Lysing, then I'll DD on the mobs (I manual make mistress DD on mob) then the second the head wake up I push away again then trow thicket then continue to DD on the mobs then when head move again I use the push away, sleep, etc...

Doing that the head don't touch me I'll kite from time to time.

On a normal mob I do Swirling Mist then Nature's Vengeance, if it's a increase magic resistance NV+ Absorb Soul.

I heal my summon when she need it, and ofc on manual mode I need to send her attack the mob.

I don't use gale force cause I keep my chi for push the head and sleep/thicket.

I really need to make a video of the thing I do... xD.

I personally can do metal, fire and wood.

    It's your gear.

First things first...get rid of that channeling cape. Level to 101 if you have to to get enough str to equip your gear without it or go get a pdef cape from tm89 Eden if you don't want to level. Cape of Elite Leather is going to be your ideal cape for right now though until you can get better ones. That belt is terrible as well. Use one of the OHT culti belts until you can gather the inscriptions+money for a Warsong belt.

After that, the biggest thing you can do to help your defenses atm is just 3rd recasting those wrists so you can get the HP boost from the set bonus and then trying to refine those two pieces some (+5 ~ +7). I'd also +5 your neck at least since it's a decent neck that will last until you can get a Cube neck. Use event gold, btw. Don't orb it. After that, start working on recasted hat/top/pants for set bonus.

As for which pavs I can solo, I can do fire/metal/wood easily. Haven't tried earth/water. Soloing pavs on my mystic is literally the laziest **** ever though thanks to my gear. I could post vid if you want.

Definitely your gear. Your belt is sufficient for now Imo, but I agree, get rid of the cape in favour of a pdef one, replace your rings with +pdef ones, refine your gear more for better HP.

Honestly, when I first started soloing pavilions I found wood the easiest, if you know how to kite and you can sustain chi well enough to use GF and thicket often it's easy for us. Kiting is your best option with your current gear and with buffs you should be able to solo fire or metal with a bit of practice.

Tbh though would be good to see some more mystic vids on youtube b:avoid

It's your armor. I can solo all pavs but water, with the same weapon. However I got 6.3k hp atm. b:surrender

I'm mostly defending without a summon and using GF. I tend to kite the head by running and mistress pulling agro just screws me up. So does getting too close to mobs for GF. lol

    Your gear.

TT90 isn't enough to solo Warsong, you need more.
I suggest higher refines on those. Your problem obviously isn't the damage since you got the 40 attack lvl bonus, but how much damage you can take.

Improve your gear and you'll see. b:pleased

I see that you're a pure mag build, cause you have very low HP. I understand your pain, lol. I'm a glass cannon as well, :P

About the cape and the neck/belt that everyone is talking about, I use the Glorious Robe: Torment which is really good, because is gives me +7 in all stats and Pdef +432. For the neck, I use the TT99 Archangel's Pendant, which gives me a Phys dmg reduction +2%, and for the belt, it depends. I use both the r7 one and the Celestial Sage/Demon one, the thundershock something. That thing gives you a nice Pdef addon. Are you a stage 3 sage/demon yet? that belt sure helps b:pleased

i thankyou for asking this, i too have been wondering about the same thing, my gear is r8 chest n legs n tt90 gold arms n feet, rest approx the same tho i have 1k ish more hp, i dnt have the damage you have. Unfortuneately getting better gear isnt something that can happen overnight unless you can afford to cs. I have had some success in twice running metal with a well-geared cleric

Unfortunately, the char would have to be an extra-exceptional Mystic to amp up its HP, and still be able to kill the mobs. At least thats my experience from Metal Pav attempts.

Building more PDef could be the answer, but Im thinking for myself - I just need to wait till have R9 - but that will probably be years from now. b:chuckle

P.S. I did SoT with lower HP than that, with no problems.

No need R9, with R8 I was able to do metal/fire/wood.

Then make a vid wearing your R8 and let us see your methods. I watched several vids before trying, but they seemed to be mostly R9 Mystic videos, as neither the Mystic nor the summon were taking hardly any damage, just a bunch of "resist!"'s appearing on the screen. xD

Im wondering if putting Adrenaline Surge back on genie would help. *shrugs*

Well, I've seen recommendations in the forums to use Knock Back on the head which I don't understand. You use chi and a skill to move it back to spare you enough time to use one more skill. -Not worth it.

I'm guessing people forgot about their lesser useful herbs:
Summon a Listless Blossom near the target. Listless Blossom
has a chance to cause nearby enemies to Sleep for 6 seconds.
The Lysing of Listless Blossom deals moderate damage, and has a
great chance to cause nearby enemies to Sleep for 13 seconds.
Listless Blossom appears for 1 Minute.
Listless Blossom has a certain chance of evasion.

Lucky Break + Gale Force on groups works once in a while as well.

I've done metal, fire, and earth so far as mystic.

For your information not all players who don't have r9 3rd recast +12 full josd are fail.I've been doing bhs, aeus,fc,tw,nw and so on very well and 80% of the them without cleric because they are hard to find nowadays and i manage to heal everyone and no one died including me even if i have TT90:P A good player is one because of its style and way of playing not because of good refining or OP gear.Everyone can play with OP gear >.> I've been in many squads of nirvana when it was alive and we died because of some noob players with r9 who power level and didn't know how to play class. And if u will not take a magic class because he/she doesn't have 10 K life you lose not them:) magic class is different from tank. This game has teach me not to judge people cuz of their gear but on what they can do.to bad it didn't teach u the same thing

To everyone else:thanks for all the comments ,i'll take them into consideration:D and Xx_BeLLa_xX please do a vid i think it will be useful for others.AND, i managed to do metal, for 3 times in a rowb:victory with the same gear obviously:))I'm running from the head when he comes near me of i sleep him and on mobs gale force and normal attack.I'll do a vid if anyone wants

you can do every pav as a caster with r8/nirv gear, except water cos they just come so fast. unless you are a wiz with unlimited aoe, then u'd prolly die in water. but for wood and earth the mobs comes so slow that you can kill the mobs bfor another one comes. ever heard of kiting? and yes i would make a vid if i know how to. I think metal is even harder to do than wood and earth because it has so little space you can run away from the head.

to op: if you get full buffs. you will do fine even with 4.8khp initially(for fire and metal). kite the hell out of things. if you do fire, you got all those room to run from the head.

edit: i would not take you in my full ws squad, but who ever does kudos to them. maybe if you were in my faction. I do take our basebuffer to bh, n such.

Other gears can make the difference (like my veno's full DOT set). R8 isn't that much different from G16 nirv.

I used to defend metal/fire with r8/tt99 on a regular basis. It's what I farmed my nv3 in. 4500 hp too.

As x_Bella_x stated, it's technique. The gear suggestions would help, of course, but your gear isn't the worst I've seen successfully defend a pavilion.

I'd suggest only doing metal path, till you can get a rhythm down. Metal mobs are weaker against magic damage than fire mobs. If you can, ask to have the cleric buddy with you and have them kite the head till you've got your killing figured out.

Nobody jumps into warsong and just glows with win on their first time. Especially casters.

Kite the head, and make sure you've got some distance from the mobs when they say 'let's die together'. If you're too close when they do that, they'll one shot you.

If I could, that would be nice.

Didnt know that - knew the killing part, just not that that was a clue to steer clear at that moment. Thanks for the tip.
