    APS is still very powerful in pve but it has lost it's touch in PVP. With most people reaching their endgame gears, that purify weapon proc is really effective against APS. Also, the wizard gets arcane defense which also deals with APS issues. The fortification draught apo is specifically designed to give people a fighting chance if a sin would just double spark out of stealth and try to own you in the face.

    I think over time people are used to the 5.0 aps. I know some clerics would have expel on their hotkey and ready if they're about to get demolished. In conclusion, APS is strong, just not as it used to be.

    Aps is an acronym, not a word.

    Apsing = attacks per seconding?

    Its a word because folks use it as a word same as lol, dps, and many other words in the psudo language of the interweb.

    I can still insist on the proper usage of said word though :p

    It all just depends really, a nv 1st cast 5.0 will take out any average non g.16 geared players. A really great g.15 nv 2nd/ r8r / 3rd cast nv will be able to take out anyone if they're skilled or not outnumbered, ofcourse, this doesn't include full r92 op geared people. And surprisingly even if I use my interval based gear, my +8 refines allow me to survive 75% of the time when fist/claw bm & lower lvl weapon 5.0 sins try to attack me. I usually just lol as they fail and get ganked by everyone else around me if i'm stun locked.

    Aps is nice for TT farming, but you can tell the general attitude has changed because hardly anyone asks for specific aps from people joining squads.

    The more important factor is, which warsong pavs can you solo :D

    For Warsong, everyone asks for you to PM your weapon, which basically means +10 or GTFO on HT.b:lipcurl
