NW being controlled by a few people

This doesn't work. Say your nation had a bad luck of the draw and only has a handful of 101+ players. You could end up being based lock even worse because you don't have enough players to defend.
If you are going to create a level cap on lands do the opposite. To attack the land around the another nation's base you have to be under level 95, but any level can defend the land around their base.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I don't know about you, but the alt that I go in with is level 102. Unlike others, my alt's sole purpose is to buff me once we're in side. I could probably just as easily place her in another nation.1. If I kill you; do something about it yourself, don't go complaining to my wife.
2. If you have less kill counts then me, don't expect me to take pk advice from you.
3. If you are hiding behind an alt, don't expect me to acknowledge your existence.

It's not like low levels are going to make any impact against anything above g15.Kiyoshi - Heavens Tear wrote: »I don't know about you, but the alt that I go in with is level 102. Never said it will stop people. It will certainly help slow them down. Any later comers to nw usually end up being sent to the last place nation. So even if you had 7 alts, they will most likely all end up in the same nation anyway.0 -

There is a slight flaw in this I have to point out, if you are good at math you know about the algorithms computers use to create seemingly random things, they are not truly random and patterns can be found. Just saying it is plausible to do some number crunching and control what nation you end up in, it would involve one or more mathematical geniuses, but if one person figures it out other people can too. Computers are very predictable that way. b:shutup[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

or you could just end up in 2 diff nations and be like hey we are dark you guys are frost? lets **** light and flame kk ? =.=0 -
Have actually witnessed what the OP is talking about. Think it was a week or two ago, there was an OP flame squad of about 8-10 camping the land just south of light base. And I mean seriously OP, quite a variety of classes and every single member capable of hitting easy 14-18k's, and tanking 6 at a time without issue. That same group did not move from that spot for the entire NW, putting a huge restriction on movement for Light.
But in the end what can you do? It seems more like an issue with PWI than NW. Vastly overpowered gear exists, it's only natural it's going to cause huge imbalance issues. I don't really believe there is any "fix" at all to the majority of problems people have with NW. Unless they decided to put everyone in NPC gear ofc.0 -

Its not the gear, is the coordination and playskill.
Ive seen almost 20 R9/R9rrs lose to me, 1 guy with R9, and a R9rr weapon sin plus a ton of scrub geared people and a few N3ers. We just outplayed them cause they couldnt get past PKing in center. They way out goonleveled and geared our whole side, but we coordinated and went for a win.
Ive also been part of the 5-10 man OP squad that base locks 2 lands for over an hour. Unfortunately Kiyoshi is right - the problem lies with the people who go to break out of the base. When I can 1-2 shot almost the whole field, and tank 6+ people - they can still win. The problem is they rarely have the right classes or people to contest for the flag, let alone coordinate to do something about FIVE people.
When you concentrate on the tanky BM CCing you (or doing nothing and just tanking) while the Archer blows you away unmolested - thats strategy and skill problems, not gear. I assure you in many situations, had someone CCed the archer or killed the archer - I would have died or the archer would have died and me shortly thereafter. But it wasn't done, repeatedly - and I get to have under 10 people holding 2 lands and making massive contribution on a weekly or even twice weekly basis for over an hour.
Likewise, Ive also had under 100 or scrub geared, and N3 people whoop my butt cause they were more coordinated and prepared than the people I was working with at the time.
Either people will learn to PvP in NW effectively, or they wont. Most go for profit, not to succeed. If they focus more on success over personal greed, they will profit better. But they have to break out of that solo selfish mindset first.pwcalc.com/bb6fc16982637a5c / pwcalc.com/28948ee5778526f50 -
