patcher.exe - Entry Point Not Found. Help?

"The procedure entry point ?GetTotalRam@SysInfo@@QBEXPA_K@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library SysInfo.dll."

I came back to play this game about 2 months ago without any problems and today the game wanted to update. Standard stuff, etc etc and then bam this error pops up. Now everytime I try to run the launcher, this pops up. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

    I get the same and i have tried downloading direct x updates and still doesnt work. Surely others have had this issue after todays update patch. HElppppppppp please

    Try "Verify" option from launcher and verify the game files do it multiple times, Next u guys gotta check if the client files are added in your anti-virus/firewall/security exception lists ?
    Note:Verifying game files may take a while depending on your system be patient !

    I keep getting a error message patcher.exe Entry Point Not Found
    (The procedure entry point ?GetTotalRam@SysInfo@@QBEXPA_K@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library SysInfo.dll)

    Can anyone decipher that and tell me how to fix it? I happened when I tried to update this morning.

    You can't because this error totally messes up your ability to run the patcher. When I hit update I just hit confirm but noticed it was saying something about p2sp dunno if that matters or not. And My anti-virus/firewall/security exception lists have long had all the revelant pwi information. I asked the GM to look into it now. :P I shall keep you guys updated.

    i am having an error come up that says the patches are corrupted. don't know what to do.

    yeah i tried turning off my nortan and it made no difference it has nothing to do with it i also get the patch report

    i'm having the same problem, the patcher exe file has gone missing (i checked the directory)

    uninstalling and doing a clean install, will let you know if it fixes it

    The game is running smooth, i didn't faced any issue with today's update i guess best is to contact Tech Admin(darthpanda16) here ---> Updating/Patching Problems for a quick solution.

    have to open the pathcer to do that and that error pop's up as u run as admin b4 the patcher is even up, hope its fixed soon b:cry

    Hm... dropping patcher copy into patcher folder always fixes it for me when it's missing.

    I had the same problem;
    I feel stupid asking this, but how do I add the files or whatever to my antivirus' exception list?

    Thanks! :) I was able to add all PW files to the list; though I still get the some error when I try to start the game. b:cry I hope it gets fixed soon!

    Once your antivirus has done the damage, turning it off doesn't fix anything. You'll need to replace the files that your antivirus damaged by thinking it was cleaning them. This can be done either by verifying the files, or re-downloading and installing the client.

    Remember to add the client directory to your exclusions list and disable the real-time scan while you do this. There's a note and even links on the Downloads page. Most people just ignore it or don't bother to read.

    problem partially solved when I clicked on a file in the folder below

    C:\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International\launcher

    The file is in chinese language

    The file return to patch 681 and update again.

    So problem fixed for me

    ok just tried it again but theres also another link "fix it" in that same file that forces a reboot of the patch and fixed the problem

    I had the same issue.

    Try going to,Program files Pwi.Launcher (there is a tool cald) FIXIT.

    Use it and it wil work again.
