    IKR....it make it really hard. Players can bump threads to keep at least some topics open for a little while. But ultimately it's futile to fight the bots.

    well good to ear that someone is doing something.

    Looking at all the spam title, I have to say also that that bot maker, is not a huge brain. Hes using the same dam title format all the time, Makes me thing hes just a copy paste cat ! And has no understanding of the scrip he stole somewhere.

    I'm all for a few more moderator, but what we need is admin power, so you can change the way people register. And really fast !

    You should also limit the user of this forum to e-mail that are link to game account. Not listing them in the database in case you get ****, but ... idk how you could do that, but it could probably be done.

    Only people whit PW account would have access to wright in the forum, you can always have a guess account to read it.

    The way I see the names also, it look more like a person registering a user, and then starting a spam bot.

    I have seem other bot and they rarely use the same e-mail, user name to post ! Making the job a lot harder.

    Before this comes a bigger problem you should ask to lock new registration RFN !

    I think the low level of new players coming in can find enough info seeking the forum, that they can way to get there forum account started.

    In fact it still puzzle me has to why the forum registration has not been lock on the 1st day of this activity ! It take 10 minute to do ! And that's is if you don't know what to do...

    And then I ear you, well this is a special web site design for PWE specially, and implementation of the forum code is a real pain and and and....

    Shame on you !

    At least take action now, and lock new entry in the forum now !

    Should just ask for a filter script to be created that clears out all spam threads and triggers a flag for GMs to ban accounts. Would be more efficient than having to sort through the mess. This is unless you want to have approximately 12 moderators (overlapping time frames slightly so the forum doesn't go without a moderator present).

    If I knew what script language the forum server supported I could create a script for the forums. Scripts to help monitor forums is effective as long as they are coded correctly and kept up to date.
