Jen is like one of those players that was 101 before goonz got popular and then they all started hardcore playing -do their dailies(base quest,morai),make 20fcs a day,solo PV,buy fc armors and decompose for exp....etc etc and get to 105 in 1month

Anyone who pays attention to the forums knows they came out of relatively nowhere and was 105 all of a sudden several months after the goon-glitch was revealed.

There's two things that work against you.
Firstly, the fact that you're 105. Most people will just look at that and go "Oh, gooner". Secondly, you didn't post too much before you were 105. Heck, I did a search looking for posts that are at least 6 months old and I came up 13. In fact, at least half of your posts are done within the past 4 months.I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. Yes I'm aware I didn't become active on the forums until recently. You can call this "convenience" if you will but I got promoted in late March at my company to the RDA manager of the entire department which means I have a bit more free time. And I use it posting here while I deal with my clients on the phone and email.

I think the only people upset still about goonerz are the ones that couldn't goon to 105 because they suck at the game. Those that don't care are the ones that well don't care, they don't care about r9 or r8 or being the best they just enjoy the game. So from here on out I think everyone that complains about goonerz or calls someone else a gooner is just going to get called a gooner by me cause I think they are just butthurt they weren't good enough to get to 105.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Not breaking the TOS doesn't make one suck at the game.
There is almost nothing a lvl 105 player can say to me that would convince me they didn't do it (bar perhaps a ss from a neutral party that showed the person was 105 at a date/time before gooning existed).
You know it. I know it. Just go with it <.< No one ever wants to admit to it, but often sooo sooo painfully obvious b:laugh

I didn't care about goon glitching in the slightest. 101 was easy to get, and there are 2 people on my sever that went 101-105 after goons were nerfed as well.
Guess what? Still don't care if you gooned.
I mean it's a pain when I can't see a gooned sin in stealth with a detection pot...but who in the hell would deny a good challenge? That's what defenses, skills, and genies are for.
Honestly, being the best is reserved for one person. Sure, I could keep that "**** the silver let's go straight for the gold" attitude, but in an international game, second best is still pretty damn good. I couldn't let this go by without a response. Although I can only speak for myself,
I feel certain most players who are annoyed about the whole goon glitch thing
probably feel the same way.
It's not because I'm not a good player. I could easily have taken advantage of
the glitch. My thinking, however, was this: I was lvl 102, second-highest cleric
on Lost City at the time the glitch started. I didn't want to violate any rules of
the game for fear of being bumped way back down as punishment, or even
losing my account altogether. I watched as, within 2-3 weeks, I went from #2 on
server, to dropping off the rankings list completely as glitchers passed me by.
Even then, I bided my time & didn't give in to the temptation. I honestly believed
that once the whole glitch thing was straightened out, all those players who had
violated the rules of the game would be pushed back to their original levels, and
things would be back like they were before the glitch. Of course, we all see now
how wrong I was.
The "butthurt" you see from these players like myself, is due to the fact that
we tried to play fair, abide by the rules, and were punished for it. While the
players who were in the wrong were rewarded. That stings a little when
you've put so much time & effort into something.
Anyway, I've seen similar comments to yours, Zora, here & there on the
forum, and just wanted to let you all know, it's not just whiny "butthurt"
QQ'ing. We were just disappointed that PWI let so many well-meaning,
loyal players down in such a fashion.0 -

You say a SS from someone before the glitch existed. Problem, the glitch has existed since they changed FC from a gear farming dungeon to a XP dungeon, maybe even when it was a gear farming dungeon too, I wasn't high enough lvl to have done it back then so I can't say for sure that it was possible then to, or even what XP from things were to know if it would have even been worth it.
I remember people glitching on Lost and RT shortly after the Tide expansion when I switched servers. So saying you want proof someone was 105 before the glitch existed isn't possible lol, cause no one was 105 before FC was put in. Now there are people that have gotten to 105 AFTER the glitch was "fixed" and you can see that from their coreconnect on when they got the 105 achievement. To me seeing the it took them a year or 2 or 3 to get from 90, the achievement before 105, to 105 is proof enough they didn't glitch. Of course you can never be 100% sure they didn't glitch even once, but I don't really care, I'm willing to give people the benefit of the doubt, after all our country's justice system is built on innocent until proven guilty.Anyway, I've seen similar comments to yours, Zora, here & there on the

I was disappointed too, but after all of the failures and let downs from this company over the years I wasn't surprised. I freely admit I am addicted to this game, in that I very much enjoy playing it. But I still have a job, and a life outside of the game. I have multiple alts to keep from getting bored, and I have multiple high levels because I have been playing since 2008.
As far as denial, that's just you claiming to know what I am thinking and being wrong. I am purely a PvE player. I have no need for R9 and it seems ridiculously overpowered and a waste of money to me. I'm perfectly content with working to get the Morai gear and maybe Nirvana on some chars.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I can relate to this, I also played in another PW franchise (PWPhil) and have a lot of toons there as well. Moved here to PWI due to ISP probs. Had more toons in Arch server ( 4 100+ toons, 0 CS), moved from Archo to RT due to friends leaving game and Archo dying a slow painful death, Had 10 more toons here in RT. And yes I'd rather be addicted on this than other more health hazardous addictions like drugs or drinking.

But since your already gone please stay gone and concentrate on your new game, and yes who doesnt know that theres more to life then PWI.........sounds like the game had you pretty hookedb:scornb and if thats true or not please dont jump to conclusion and think we do the same. People seem to think that the goon glitch just magically appear. No, what happend is when EG came out the people that knew about it and had been abusing it for years without becoming 105 wanted to get their seekers and mystics high lvl and then the glitch became wide spread and people realized they could just get to 105 this way without any serious trouble.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

About R9 complain, i had this opinion for months. We have freedom to post/write anything, anywhere anytime. You dont need to agree with me... however sometimes is good to respect the opposing views.
I led a great faction for months or an entire year, I still have friends here. I didnt say i dont login PW anymore... i just dont enjoy the game anymore. I still come in to see the "whatsup", to do one or two BH runs perhaps... and nothing more. I have 4 alts and 2 are 10x, i met a lot of ppl that still playing throughout my life here. The only "fun" side for me, to have fun with friends doing the same... eventually... moreless. I dont have the same feeling that i had in the begining. There are lot of wrong things in this game and R9 gear is a tough issue for sure. I have used humor to write this R9 polemic of this game.
If you dont like to read ppl opinions so, you would avoid web forum... there are a lot of ppl talking about their feelings, suggestions, point of view etc.0 -

Actually in most trials the prosecution generally displays various types of "proof" of the defendants guilt, so you actually would need to display some kind of "proof" in order to thusly accuse me. Then the defense would spend their time discrediting your proof and submitting their own evidence to prove my innocence. And I never said I didn't believe in trials b:pleased so you would at least have to take me to one in order to get me to pay that money back b:chuckle
Either way if I was truly innocent until proven guilty I'd need to do a lot less work proving how innocent I am b:laugh

no point in r9 as i see it, tt is just fine if not better, anything can be done with a great squad that's all that matters, u will never see me wearing a rank ring as it is useless there are much better 3 star even 2 star or 1 star rings, i will admit though it is funny to watch a level 100 r9 sin steal aggro from me and die while I'm tanking a boss i always tell the cleric dont worry about me i can handle the boss and i'll be fine with my tt gear, but u better keep an eye on that r9 sin over there as i have seen them die in tt2-3 every single timeLevel 100 sage barbb:victory0
