Hey everyone,




We will be having server maintenance tonight from 11pm PDT until 1am PDT!




For tonight, my question to you is this:



What other element from one of PWE's other games would you like transplanted into PWI... and why? (Examples: Jade Dynasty's ascension leveling system? Blacklight's Hyper Reality Visor? Perhaps ESO's super-deformed art style?)

My personal vote would go to Forsaken World's Dwarf males. Holy cow they're awesome, and they even have an idle animation of popping a snot bubble.

Fixed a server-time mismatch issue with the Raging Tides server that was causing delays/stalls on quests and zone changes.

Localizations
Changed the text for Lady Amaranth's shout
Clarified the text for the Archer skills Thunderous Blast / Thunder Shock
Corrected the quest description for the Luminous Jade quest in Endless Universe
Fixed the name of the bloodstained Wanderdog

    Ascension.

    After ascending, players would get 7 stat points per level and hypers would be disabled b:cute

    From another Wanmei game, I'd like to see the smarter auto route used in JD and FW.
    From any PWE game in general, I'd like the kind of combat used in RaiderZ though there's no way that could be implemented in PWI.

    If you're referring to the ascension thing, that would provide issues with the current un-ascended players, since they'd need to remove their demon/sage skills.

    For those unfamiliar with JD, ''ascending'' means that when your character reaches (near) max level, you get the option to reset to level 1 and level your character all over again, but with quite a lot of benefits.

    It could even be a bit simpler in PWI, that when you reach level 100 and have your third fairy, that you get to reset to level 89 and become an Ascended Sage/Demon. Then at level 100 there would be skills that have that cultivation as a requirement.

    Quite a few possibilities with that, indeed... b:chuckle

    I would like to see:

    - You can't run trough mobs like in "RaiderZ"
    - UI improvements like in "RaiderZ"
    - The way how you summon your mount like in "Forsaken World"

    I would love to see the mounted combat option that there was in the game that shut down. "Heroes of Three Kingdoms"
    As well as the quests that had you escort npc's to different places. I quite enjoyed the game, but quitted when packs were added. *shrugs*

    Pvp rooms like in Rusty Hearts along with collision detecting auto pathing.

    Why pvp rooms that are open all the time? I for one love to pvp, but hate the fact i have to sit outside west/lost till someone comes along. Also there is no reward for pking really beside the random drop. For those of you who say well what about theatere of blood etc.... these would be nice if they were open all the time, but they are one time a day/week. So no good for people who have to work or have something else to do.

    Why auto routing? Because it would sure make getting from A-B easier on everyone. If nothing else put in a collision detection for flying that re routes you around what your stuck in.

    Hmmm other elements...

    Though the Ascension thing in JD is interesting, I don't really see it fitting well with PWI.
    Battle system in Raiderz is neat, but wouldn't work here.

    I would say the Auto-pathing in FW. Being able to run somewhere and actually automaticaly move around objects in the way is convenient. b:victory

    Hmm . . .
    * Beer smiley from Forsaken World.
    * Better Autopathing would be cool. (Oh and disable the auto-flight unless you guys force a toon to elevation 79 and autopath from there.)
    *Training dummy to look at skills. (I know that it used to be available tho.)

    Must say FW has a lot of improvements. God's Trial tho not so much.

    Need to try JD again.

    if all your gear can ascend, so should your character. would be nice to have more character possibilities now that gear impossibles are pretty much locked in. the worst part of r9 is not that is makes the game completely Pay to Win, although thats a big issue, partially counteracted by s3 nirvana, but that it homogenizes the classes.

    I'll ignore your question since well.. i dont play those other games. But I will say this much:


    add a live money auction hall - its gonna solve all of PWE's and China's problems of lost revenue. Its simple... let the cash shopping players have the option to bid live money on gears/mats that are being sold by other players. PWE will take a %cut of the sale, just as the servers do in the game - except this will actually make pwe money while at the same time keeping your player base happy/not taking away their in game income.

    with a f2p mmo, offering that system will no doubt bring in lots more player base - since well - you can actually make money for playing a game.


    IMO it would solve all the problems that china is complaining about with farmers not cashing....

    I only played a little of JD and FW but got bored quickly. Gameplay was too easy for me but I'd like to have the better graphics in PWI lol

    Honestly PWI has the best outside of Rusty Hearts.

    When you install PWI, it is on Low res.

    I vote for more intelligent auto routing too. It would make using ground mounts more fun.

    I also wish there was a way to solo instance cultivation bosses for us less sociable type players. Basically just getting the cultivation credit and a small coin drop rather than the possibility of any other goodies. This would also mean no or very little experience and spirit. But that's just me. b:flower

    Jade Dynasty's ascension leveling system but only with restrictions like can't enter FC below level 75 or so.. it would make the bhs alive again and give new motivation to play the game

    Personally, I'd like Forsaken World's toggle so can actually see my helmet. Why bother having a graphic for it if you can never see it?

    After playing a few of those games I saw nothing I wanted from them added and I keep coming back to PWI.

    I would like to see the housing system implemented just so I had somewhere to stash all the armor lines I want to build, and I see that the NPC on the island at the edge of the map east of arch had an option to build furniture as well that would also be interesting for me personally.

    NPC co-ordinates are 688 796 for those interested.

    Other PWE titles...

    Only played two, but I don't count Torchlight, cause I played that before it was PWE.

    As for the other, I've liked playing Rusty Hearts, though I haven't in a while. I love the fatalistic humor in that game, especially Pamela's cooking. I enjoy the different flavors of the Training Hall, but my favorite thing were Poison's events (the halloween and christmas ones). I don't see any of those items easily translating over into Perfect World.

    What might be implementable is my main in RH is a Scythe Angela. Love that weapon, just want the swordfish version.

    Do agree on any other game that has means for more storage. Didn't older versions of PW have a housing system? Would love to see that implemented.

    Hmmm...most likely I would prefer the ascension and the correct type of auto-pathing as in JD. Yep, call me lazy but it's annoying as hades to try to auto-path and fly into everything and stop. I mean..wth is the point of auto-path then?
    And as said before, it would make using mounts worth it.
    At this point, they're nothing but show.

    here is a few idea's that i have all from Forsaken World:

    1) Auto Run around buildings when on the ground

    2) AFK Training without costing anything (including having to buy anything to refresh)

    3) FREE Teleporting and full map open

    4) EXP AID to give added exp.

    5) FREE gifts and FREE money when you level up every 5 levels

    6) Shard removal scrolls so we can safely upgrade the ones we have in the outfit/items we have them in.

    7) EXP dailies like Henry Quests, Alchemy with Luia and maybe even a special quest like the Perfume quest and the Knowledge quiz that don't cost us money yet gives EXP. and money.

    8) something like Creekbank Valley were Veno's can get per level pets - level 5, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 105 - this gives them starter pets to max high pets - this is to be an instance and not just random pets to capture.

    9) the "Star Fragments" so we can transfer all stats CHEAP and the items are given FREE when you get to certain levels like starting at level 30 you get 5 free, level 40 and up you get 10 free every 10 levels. as the cost of getting the items in the game now are hard to get and very costly.

    10) similar to the "fusion agent", if you buy a certain amount of shards it will automatically make the shard level you want instead of costing so much to "build" the high level shard you are hunting for.

    11) the "Star Crystal" where you can level up your "stats" in your armor and weapons without it costing a ton to do so.

    12) Free armor that is high level that you get when you are level 50 instead of 60, and 70 and 100 to help you along your way and it's got really nice stats and based on your particular chars.

    that is all i can come up with at this time that i think would help us or make things a tad easier. though i played the other games, I'm just not that interested in what most have to offer.

    PS - came back to PW because FW has too tight of a chastity belt and you can't do much of anything without someone else's help nor can you change out anything after wearing it and give to others - 99% of the game being bound really sucks. back where i belong - in PW. b:bye

    id like to get the forsaken world title system would be awsome to have i say b:laugh

    cause anyone can be in a order or get married but to have your own unique title be somthing to brag about XD

    I'd rather see the (Modo race) of {Jade Dynesty} itself, be transfered into {PWi} rather then just an element of the game......

    But if you really wanted to be mischevious, then I'd say transfer {JD's} LEGENDARY Character 'JuMpInG CaPacItIeS' into {PWi} so we could all get some good laughs at watching those who've never played {JD} trying to figure out why they barely leave the ground when they jump (And heaven help them) when they find out theres no longer a good "double jump" capacity.......
