Starting a New Character.

So I'm going to start another new character and play it the old fashioned way (No outside help including my own currency etc) if anyone wishes to join me in doing so later. Any player from any server welcome to join.

I'll go by community Vote of which class I should make. If anyone wishes to do it with me they can use any they wish.

5 Classes will not be on the list as I have already played them and will be doing something different.
(Archer / Cleric / Barb / Sin / Seeker)

If you wish give reasons why you enjoyed the class you are recommending.

    I choose veno, cos if I join you I'll be a bm so then you can amp my sparks and we'll make an unstoppable team. So my choice is kinda selfish, but still venos are awesome.

    Oh I know I will. I tend to have fun experimenting with new classes. :P

    didnt know you were actually going to do it b:thanks. started on my psy/wiz like 2 weeks n they are lvl 26/38 b:chuckle. who I had help from the lucid quests n the event quest. b:pleased

    Basically it looks like it's a toss up between Mystic and Veno.

    Both have pros and cons

    Hmm continuing the poll for the next 6 hours and will figure it out then.

    PVE is easy with a pet , and no need for potions can save the money you make for Skills and gear

    You can customise your pet selection and their skills to suit your need.

    3-4 possible armor builds , 2 different skill sets.

    Nice for PVP since it isnt a faceroll class , new skills are aimed for PVP if you aim to grind Morai with her.

    Has many uses in a squad and has endgame abilities for many instances.

    can be quite self sufficient at lower lvls

    and cool overall

    This is exactly what I've been doing for about the past year now in PWI. I
    basically retired my 100+ chars, and have just been starting new ones,
    leveling them the old-fashioned way, not cash shopping AT ALL.

    Anyway, I find I like mystic best. Something about dealing with your
    pet, plus the plants, plus healing, just gives you a lot of options when
    you're fighting mobs. Veno would be second, again because of pets.

    I would definitely recommend one of those two classes.

    After playing my mystic or veno awhile, when I get onto another char, it
    seems strange. I'm actually lonely for my pet, LOL.

    I have a r8 cleric (obviously not this one b:chuckle) and a 5aps sin, and I find my veno to be the most appealing out of the three.

    I do also like mystic, but I dislike that mystics can't really *pick* their own pets (also, the lack of cat ears/tail is lame).

    If you plan to squad a lot, mystic provides the most *control*, in a way. (You can res buff the whole squad if you feel like it, and you can start throwing off heals if the cleric falls asleep/DCs/decides it's a metal mage onry).

    If I ever get my mystic to 100+, I'd guess that, given equal gear, they'd be equals in my eyes as far as favorites go.

    Oh, also, veno gets a movement speed boost ability (summer sprint) which is really really really nice for keeping up with the fastrunning squad members (my cleric would kill for that skill).

    As far as survivability, I die at about the same rate on both (i.e. not at all unless I do something really stupid/fall asleep/get distracted by something IRL).

    Honestly, I'd suggest rolling one of each. b:cute

    Oh, and what server are you doing this on? I'm up for a reroll.

    I'll probably be starting some time this evening after work. I'll either announce it on the forums when I will start or have them pm my archer and go from there. Yes we can squad up as this is going to be a group experience.

    You can come if you wish. I was kinda intending on everyone trying to be around the same level range for questing etc but you're welcome to join.

    well im iffy on making a new char cos

    1) i ran out of pho names

    2) there's not alot of chars that I do not have seeker/archers being the 2. I have a lvl 8x bm but I can restart one. I guess...

    3) it kinda sucks starting a melee char since those are only my options. b:chuckle

    I'll start a BM and I won't do bh or any new kind of quests, except tideborn chain to get MONEY xD. All the exp that I'll get from that quest I'll put in my genie. b:victory

    Oh wow I was just thinking of doing this on a different server because mine is a bit dead and the time zone sucks for me.

    I would totally enjoy going back to my home server of HT and level a noob with you if you wouldn't mind of course :P
    I'd probably be an archer because I've never played one to high levels and they look like a lot of fun.
