    anybody mentioned nirvana recasted wand/glaive with their unique stats?
    its unlikely but possible...
    -10% unique stat
    -3% normal stat can occur more than once
    -6% from stones of savant

    I think one veno on Sanct has -6% and -3% on her Nirvana weapon, but I think -16% is best you can have, at least on this weapon: http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/25677 just like you said.

    If this is anything like the Chinese version, the channeling cap is -99%. At -100% channeling or higher, the game will reset your speed back to -90%. This was added in an very old patch to combat the instant wizzie multi-ulti spam bug at -100% channeling. Use an Eye of Observation to check a wizzie's channeling speed while in Essential Sutra to see that the "no channeling" is really -90%. In a sense, that patch broke a native class skill. The -chan obsessed wizzies over in China aim for -71% to -79% on gears. With Demon Wellspring Quaff, they can "instant cast" at -91% to -99% channeling to beat the -90% patch cap (keep it -74% or under if you plan to use demon spark too.)

    -18 =-6x3 on ring
    -18 =-6x3 on ring
    -18 =-6x3 on elemental necklace
    -18 =-6x3 on elemental belt
    -18 =-6x3 on wrists
    -6 =-6 lunar cape
    -3 =-3 on helm
    -6 =-6 on rank chest
    -3 =-3 on nirvana pants
    -1 =-1 on tome
    -0 =no -channeling currently possible on boots in this equation.
    -133=total possible

    yes, all of the above is possible, the first 6 have approximately a 1/100,000 or lower probability of occurring.

    Normally aquired max channeling:

    -16 =-10 on weap + 2 -3 Stones of savant
    -6 =-6 on ring
    -6 =-6 on ring
    -6 =-6 on elemental necklace
    -6 =-6 on elemental belt
    -6 =-6 TT99 arcane wrists
    -6 =-6 lunar cape
    -3 =-3 on helm
    -6 =-6 on rank chest
    -3 =-3 on nirvana pants
    -1 =-1 on tome
    -3 =TT99 arcane boots set bonus with wrists
    -68 total -channeling

    Hmm, that might explain why I had instant cast on most skills at -73 with demon spark, while I had no instant cast at all at -76 (with spark).

    It seems -73 channel might be a good number to reach for demon wizards (though wellspring only adds 20%, so for that you'd probably need more - -79%? - couldn't test this one as that skill was removed on the server I tested this on). It's also not impossible to reach - I have no -12 channel parts at all, just -9 neck and belt, the rest is pretty much standard. The only thing is stones give -6 channel there instead of -3, and I also wear rank 8 plate. I don't have -6 channel on my robe though, so basically it's -6 channel that you'd have to make up for. Nirvana pants with -3, and a -9 ring (or a -12 accessory instead of 9) should work fine.

    -99% is the cap. If you go over that, be it -100% or -138%, it resets to -90%. Private patchless servers don't count.

    Not true, theres a apoth potion wich gives -100% channeling (for just 5 sec tho but still simply exists), -100% is max, -101%+ does same thing as -100%
    Nothing no resets lol

    Yeah, the wizzie sutra also says no channeling. It's suppose to be -100% as well. Guess what, it's -90%.

    no channeling doesn't mean it also instant casts the spell: sutra removes channeling, yes, you still have that casting time (which is the time spent on preparing the spell)

    I apologize for only able to find proof in Chinese as I don't have the resources to do the tests on my own. The thread below contains an obsessive wizzie's experiments to test out the channeling cap. First, where Essential Sutra + Morning Dew should equal only the 1.2 second cast time, he consistently found that it took closer to 2 secs to actually get healed. Using eye of observation, he found his channeling at -90% under sutra. Then he switched gears + buff/skill to get to -106% channeling and found the channeling set to -90% under the eye, where as he's normal gears + buff/skill gave him -96% or -99% depending on configuration.

    These tests were done in November of 2009 on the official servers. If PWE has since changed how channeling is limited, then please ignore my posts.

    Same robes from TM69, TM79 ... different attribute points, but same -6%channeling.
