I think the things they do try to deliver on, the community seems to either forget very quickly, or just not notice at all. Here are a few things they DID try to do for the community:
We got jones... and after alot of whining on the forums, o malleys was added.
China nerfed the dq prices.. we got dq rewards.
SP, yes it took awhile to fix but they do have to wait for china to send it over. They coulda just left it alone as intended and let it stay pk zone.
R9 is to over powered, so they make rerolled nirva 3rd stage. AND they make it farmable.
People complain they never get on the servers and "show their presence". But when they do, all they get is grief and more whining.
Server issues? whine whine= 2x drops.
Goon glitch (yes bad topic but) we did get a month of 2x spirit.
Core connect... there is free fashion offered there along with a few other items.
The flying pig got changed during a patch. They took the time to change it back.
All those things.. they did NOT have to do at all. (well maybe the r9/nirva thing, it was a patch)
I see the effort on their part. What I don't see is any appreciation for the things they DO try to do for the players.
(alot, not all) says "greedy greedy greedy". Yes, they NEED to generate cash to keep the game going, (and they aren't forcing anyone to purchase anything), but what about all the free items that they also offer in the cs you can get?

Flyers
Smilies
Teleport stones/incense
Makeover scrolls
I dont know, maybe its just me, but I think they offer PLENTY of items for free to satisfy the non-csers. If I had bought everything i've gotten from the event shop, id be out a good 500$+.
I'm just really tired of always seeing the threads on this forum bashing the team. They do make an effort. Sure they may make some bad decisions, but everyone is entitled to make a few mistakes eh? If I hated a game/staff as much as some people here, i would uninstall, call it what it is, d/l a new game, and never go back.
If it was me, heck, the way these forums are, id turn off the lights, pull the covers over my head, and not even think of loading up the forums. Who wants to be bashed and cried to each and everyday.

Do we want higher prices in order to cater to every whine butt's whim on how this game / management could be better? Nearly every time they cater to the whine butts: the result is not good. (Be careful what you wish for).
There's always going to be whine butts. Now don't take this personally, but if I were staff and I saw a whine butt post by someone that couldn't even make a proper subject ("valid question"); I'd disregard it. If you're too in a hurry, or ignorant to post to make a proper title to a thread: you're probably too hasty, or ignorant in deciding what should be done.
Frankie is an employee of PWI -at least I think. Why get personal on him when it's against the TOS, and his employer is responsible for him?

For the mods all i can say is if people stop a bit to troll on every post and thread, maybe they would have time for more important stuff, seriously there's not a thread without people trolling, saying stuff which had nothing to do with the thread and all the people posting something like ''+1 post count'' or people reply with a post with 2 words which is a link on pony pictures.
I think mods (or people who have the power to ban on forum) are way to much tolerant and should use the hammer way much more often on the spamming people who post nothing than a pony pic on every reply, on the people who claim stopped to play but coming trash talk the game on every thread, on the people who tell the new players to don't play the game.
Players make the forum a joke with all of this and QQ they are not taking seriously.
More than half of the general section is **** and its posted by the players them self, so if you guys want to be hear, want to be take seriously, grow up and stop trolling and post pony picture on every reply without even reply something on the thread and stop encouraging by reply the trolls thread and reply to people who link pony every 30 seconds, if PWI staff don't need to babysit people on forum maybe they will have time to read the intelligent complains and suggestions.

I thank the PWE staff for at least giving an effort to this community and its needs, they did nothing wrong.
The only ones who did something wrong are the players that spam unnecessary threads like QQ/SOAB fest.

I agree about the BH bosses being a fix the player base pretty muched asked for. How many people were upset that the best armor in the game was cash shop only? How many people complained post after post after post they APS dominated the instances? The last several instances have done what they needed to do. They have all produced quality items that APS cannot dominate. Caster Nirvana, Nine Trials, The New BH bosses and the farmable gear upgrades that come with them, AEU. And speaking of AEU, with the introduction of the morai gear they have now put gear that is easily obtained through questing that is free to play gear that will easily get through that pve content of the game. That has been what people have been hollering for, while still meeting the equally loud voices of the APS people who earned their gear and felt it would be unfair to nerf their investments. So they didn't nerf them much, besides a eye rolling accuracy nerf.They just introduced an upgrade system that made them less relevant.
Now that is here, you gotta upgrade your gear standard. That barb 100 barb you made with the +2 TT90 gear and cala axes? Its not going to cut it anymore because you actually have to do what a barb is supposed to do now.
People may not like the way the expansion went about it. But this last imperial fury expansion was directly an answer to the concerns addressed most frequently here on these forums. And it has not even been introduced in China yet. This one is specifically for us.

The BH boss wasn't really a "fix". After all, BH is only a day-to-day means of playing, not a farming option. Sins will still dominate Nirvana and TT. And I believe that it'll stay this way, since changing that would cause a massive ragestorm from the community.

The top geared people are still not affected, as is obvious from the few videos of R9 sins soloing the bosses that we've seen. It was a fix. I'm sure different people would have different opinions on the effectiveness of these instances as fixes. But it's not like they could up it to be so difficult that even top geared people had trouble with it, because then they are the only ones that can even run it. Look at TT for example. I personally think that rank 9 being so easy to obtain was a mistake, but people have spent thousands of dollars to get that gear. You can't just take that from them now. The only answer is to introduce a new gear set that makes that set less relevant. Like Rank made ttt less relevant. When you look at the string of updates that they have had it does seem like this what they are aiming for, making it less relevant because there are plenty of other options to choose from at a wide variety of price ranges.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Last I knew; Caster Nirvana is where it's at. Even the traditional Nirvana invites Barbs, and Venos. Equally equipped Mystics, and Clerics can't? It's not like they're using aps to do it.
I've been outspoken for having 4 casters and believing them to be treated fair. Casters aren't frustrated by kiting mobs, knock backs / sleeps, melee vs weaker ranged attacks, MP costs, etc. People put a lot of effort/ investment into aps and they've made it a waste.
Even though Assassins and BMs can do fine on the new bosses: the general player base is too stupid or ignorant to do them right. If 9 out of 10 sins/ bms derp aps and ignore what they're told; they aren't going to find an easy time getting into squads. Meanwhile; any idiot caster can do fine.0 -

And it would help, if you've already maxed your hypers for the day.
I find it funny how someone with a level 105 character cannot even post in a topic without someone going "Lol glitcher, ****" or something along those lines. I also find it funny that those people, regardless of how they actually got their levels, seem to always feel some kind of need to defend themselves and claim that they're legit.
Hint #1: No one gives a damn about how you got your level.
Hint #2: Just because someone might have abused an in-game glitch to get their levels does not somehow mean their opinions, experiences or whatnot are any less valid.Unless you use teleport stones, but I'd love to see the coin vs. exp ratio on that
