    You don't need to stop attacking when the boss buffs itself. What you need to stop doing is attacking with normal attacks. Use skills instead. Damage from skills neither heals the boss or increases its attack. It's a very easy boss if you use something other than the F1 key.

    No that kind of squad isnt "OP" , otherwise you're calling more then half the PW playerbase OP. Please tell me what crappy gear you clearly are using if you think TT99 and Nirvana which is basic and easily farmed gear is OP, especially when it cant even touch r9. Please honestly tell me.

    I'm disuading the fact that the Bleed isn't this all powerful 1 shot DoT everyone claims it is if they do it right. And Last I chcked 17k Pdef buffed isn't even close to what a Barb can get? Logic please?

    My Barb has about 13k pdef and I can manage the bleed DoT just fine, it ticks me for about 1700 damage. I do open up with Alacrity which interrupts some other attack before the boss actually do his bleed DoT.

    A 9x vit barb in TT90 gear can easily get over 20k pdef and at least 18k hp fully buffed. If you doubt these archers just shut up and get a barb to tank.

    You say it yourself half the server has that kinda gear and the other half doesn't have.
    So for 50% of the server that kinda gear is OP b:victory

    PVE wise that kinda gear is good enough to complete everything b:bye

    About the archer pdef logic u better ask the persons i quoted above, they seem to have some logic b:victory

    I don't get why everyone is so obsessed with phys def in this thread. Yes it matters, but not much. The bleed depends mainly on the MAX HP. I already posted about this in some other thread, but the bleed on my sin is cut in 2 by just getting sage hp buff on my barb. This is why the boss is so easy to tank by r9 with good refines independant on class.

    @KawaiiJen : The bleed is all powerfull for non-barbs without +10 gear. For bms with barb buffs this is only semi-true though. Explanation above : they got true form and hp buff. Again, phys def does matter, but only marginal compared to hp. Also, somewhere before you talked about BB. BB and sage spark DO NOT affect the bleeds damage. The only reason for clerics to BB on aba (or seat) boss is for easy healing everyone without paying attention (mainly some multi-tasked cleric or when you know tank won't die anyway).

    I confirm that the Seat boss does indeed give sparks during bleed. I saw this while watching an archer stubbornly proclaiming "I'm soloing this" last night. Was a pretty close call but she did notice being given sparks a lot.

    I was was referring to your posts about "This thread is about how non-OP/APS chars can do this" and about "TT99+7/Nirvana is OP"

    The fact that Jen tanked this on a "OP...if you can even call it that" sin alt, means any tank with similar or better stats can do it, and it stands to reason tank classes can have much better stats much easier, thus your arguments were all wrong. It wasn't about what archers can tank it, it was about what kind of defensive stats on a character is needed to tank it. Kiyoshi responded to your post about "OPness" with mockery, implying your barb must suck so bad it can't have the pdef of an archer.

    So if I say "I tanked this on my R9 archer" it means any 9x barb can do it. Me tanking something with my archer would effectively prove that the boss is very possible to tank by any average or even **** geared barb.

    Those bosses are easy as hell, where did i mock and say i have trouble with them, i can still solo em also.

    Easiest way to see it and where I got my 150 chi from, is when you die and revive/go town (after bleed ran out ofc), you'll get up with 150 chi.

    There is also this intreguing titans like buff that stays when you die. I never really got that one...

    Again, the thread isn't about how archers and sins with **** gear can tank this, it's about what defensive stats are needed to tank this. The fact that Jen got hit for 800 from the bleed implies that any class with similar pdef would also get hit for 800 from the bleed and thus can be confident that they can tank the boss successfully.

    People should find it helpful knowing that a character who had ___ hp and ___ pdef has successfully tanked this, that's all they need to know. What Jen posted should have reassured a lot of people, instead you went on some sort of argument about whether Nirvana/TT99 is OP. It's senseless.
