    is there anything that is needed before taking this treasure hunter quest because i can get it on 2 of my 100 toons but not my 3rd

    Hey Asterelle, I didn't see your post til now. I tried running around and everything known to man, wouldn't spawn at all. I don't know if it was glitched or what, but I made sure I was RIGHT on top of the x from my map. Eventually just trashed it

    On map 3 in the Thousand Wood Ridge area, got the popup but couldn't find the chest... I think it spawned inside a tree.

    Make sure you have enough coins on you :o I couldn't pick it up on my cleric first(npc had no quest), ditched coins on him and he could x'D

    Am I doing something wrong with this quest? I have done it 3 days, only got lvl 1 boss that dropped 10k coins 3 days in a row.

    Does it make a difference if you close the dialog box before or after you start digging? Or am I experiencing PWI luck factorb:thanks?

    I'm currently running around on my veno trying to find the chest. I've been wandering around the spot on the map for about 20 minutes or so, and nothing. A sin came by and found theirs right away...I think it hates me. b:surrender

    PWI luck factor my friend...

    One day I got nothing (except the 25 rep, but of exp and 10k coins), next I got up to map 4 (but no 5), and on other char, nothing higher then map 2..
    Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle

    If this is PWI luck than my luck sucks... >.>; 5 toons 2 days in a row, only 2 got higher than map 1, sometimes map 1 didn't even drop coins >.< and on top of it, the two times it went higher and had potential, it stopped at map 2 one time and map 4 the other, I got one time a second map 2 which gave an item that traded for exp... ._. This isn't worth it if your luck is ****... and I guess mine is? *sigh*

    Soooooooo I got the treasure map that led me to Hill of the old King (around 413, 380) on both of my characters... and though I got the pop up congratulating me, as well as the rep (25 for one as it was map 1 and 75 for another as it was map 3) The chest DID NOT pop up. I tried to "dig" in the mountain with my F9 camera thing... and NOTHIN. COME ON PWI.


    IOW: if you get a map that leads you to Hill of the Old King- give up for the day because it isn't going to be there. (my faction members are telling me any mountain in general)

    Yeah Id have to say everythings just random on this quest, Like a good many things on PW.

    First time I did it on my cleric I got a second map, which then glitched on me and I eventually had to trash. After that I picked it up on both the veno and cleric and all I got were coins. Sometimes I got 20k worth but it was coinage none the less.

    Since then Ive pretty much only gotten coins, but then again my luck on here suuuuucks something terrible lol.b:surrender

    I have done the daily treasure quest on my main and several alts many times each - always killed the boss - never got even 1 map 2.....I guess I am not very lucky. To top it off I'm out a few mil.... b:irritated

    i got tresure 1 i done quest kiled boos get map 2
    i done map 2 kiled boos all fine got map 3
    i go in place got quest but cest diden apear is buged ? 418 387 around there box diden apear but i get xp b:surrenderb:thanks

    That's a bad location... the chest seems to always spawn underground or something, I've never been able to find it there.

    1st chest at 203 463 IN THE DAM CLIFF cant get it thx a lot for buging the game even moor almost broke and now this waste of time and cash

    A lot of lucky ppl around...today was my 7th day in a row that i didnt got anything from drops only 10k coin....7 days in a row in 2x event and nothin b:cry

    Roughly it is 1 in 10 chance to get map 5 during 2x. Not getting anything for 7 maps is ok :), not getting anything for 20 maps, slightly worrying. Not getting anything for all the maps, that is the universe saying "what you gonna do ....."

    LOL...wondered how long until someone tried to throw this out there.
    Let's try it the other way: I got 2 Treasure 5 maps from one Treasure 4 mob just yesterday.
    So if we go to the same conclusion that 'nerf conspirasists' do, we must conclude the drop rate has been increased substantially and likely beyond just 2x, to allow for 2 to drop off one mob.

    Funny how ridiculous that looks when done that way, isn't it....?

    Wow you got 1 mob to drop 2 map's big fing deal. I haven't gotten a single map 2 in 20 kill's definatly seems nerfed to me. Let me throw in some data last 2x I had 12 map 1's saved up in my bank out of those I got to map 2 9 times and out of those map 5 4 times. The 2x before that I had no map's saved up but I got a map 2 from almost every map 1. This 2x not a single map 2 drop from 20 map 1's what would you think?

    It isn't.

    Doing maps on 7 chars since 2x started should be enough of a sample size.

    I think you're luck is **** and you're getting mad at the wrong person and things. Yeah, I got 2 map5s and you're getting attitude coz you didn't? You cant base any fact or even speculation when you have **** for luck and someone else has far better. You wouldn't say a damn thing if you had great luck.

    I had 6 Treasure Map3's drop today. They must have pushed the drop rate way up on those.
    Also got 60 tome frags and 6 chrono pages in the last 2 days. All drop rates must be significantly higher. Only reasonable explanation based on only my experience. Coz when you argue its lower, you dismiss absolutely everything anyone else has gotten, so I may as well too.

    See the point? You're **** luck doesnt automatically mean everything was nerfed and that the company is out to get you.

    *No, I don't believe the drop rate has increased, sarcasm is lost on some. 6 treasure3 maps today could be zero tomorrow. That's luck of how this works.

    Uhh yeah whatever I'm not mad your the one with the attitude I was saying your 1 mob's drop over my many doesn't prove anything. You can ramble on about something I really don't give a damn about your one of those people who are just looking for a reason to argue with someone on a web forum. Go argue with someone else because I don't care enough about the treasue hunt daily. On a necroed thread that is going to get locked to boot.
