Does Pw need to fix their response system?

Well just like the title says, does pw really need to improve on their response system when it comes to sending in tickets?
Right now im takin this opportunity to write on here bout the recent scam website that hit heavens tear server last weekend. I got pmed by a friend who gave me the scammed site and it was on accident that i got suckered into it. later on i found out that another friend on one of my alts also pmed me bout the site. well i went onto the site and put in my account info on accident not knowing it was a scam and lost 2 flyers. one on my bm the other on my cleric and so id like to see pw either reimburse me for this or somehow replace the two flyers since this was an accident on my part. plus i havent give out my account info since i first started playing here bout 3 yrs ago. So i sent a ticket in bout this and all i get is a reply on that my pc needs to be scanned for viruses/spyware, and to make a new password. To me that qualifies as being unfair and also not giving a correct reply to this current situation. plus i think pw needs to fix their response system for when things happen on accident compared to just do it on purpose. Ofc we all will get curious bout somethin that we can get but how the situation is handled when our curiousity breaks down is another. So im hopin that pw will work to improve on this in the future which im not holdin my breathe that they will. just that somethings need to fixed in a better way than puttin it on the user as the one at fault.

YES it needs to be improved upon greatly.
But you will always first get a generic response. Then complete the steps in that response and reply that you have and continue with that ticket. Never send in multiples or you just keep getting bumped down to the bottom which sucks.
Rarely do they return lost items, but its always possible if they catch it early enough. I figure if they can take care of it and the item hasn't exchanged hands too many times they will. Honestly i have noticed CSers get better service. Which i guess is to be expected, but its highly unprofessional. This is a free to play game. If they want to retain free players they need to do something about how they treat 'em.0 -
Speaking as someone doing support; interacting with customers, on a GOOD day is:
"Hi, we did X. Y happened. Expected Z. how do we do it?"
"That's funny, Z should have happened. Can you check incredibly obvious thing a? And did you do X?"
"Oh, yeah, we didn't actually do X. our fault."
On a medium day, it's:
"Hi! Your table looks great with our fruit bowl, but we were wondering, could we put a cat on it?"
"Uh, sure, I guess. A cat is well within our tables carrying capacity. You might want to watch out for claw marks."
"ANGRY! Your table collapsed when we put our cat on it! What are you going to do to fix it."
{much back and forth}
"Wait... your saying your 'cat' is an ELEPHANT? Yeah, that would be the problem. Did you try putting a cat on the table, like I said you could?"
Anyway, yeah. First line support is deliberately there to weed out the stupid questions, and yes, there's a checklist to go through, and it fixes 99% of the problems.0 -

..not trying to defend PWE because they do take their sweet long time to response,
but if I got 983745 tickets everyday and the content is like your writing, I'll be nerdrage too and only read the first sentence..

I understand that it really sucks to lose the flyers, I'm sure you spent money getting them, and losing anything from a personal account must really feel terrible.
But you have to understand that it's not Perfect World (the company) fault, nor is it their responsibility to reimburse items that were taken from your account after you shared your account information on a scam website. Especially when there have been multiple warnings over the past months against those scam websites.
It's your responsibility to practice common sense when someone asks for your account details, username, password, email etc. Check on the forums first and see what the response is. It's very likely that the friends who linked you to the website fell for the scams themselves, and the scammer is using their accounts to spread the word about it.
Definitely report the website, and the accounts that linked you to it for further investigation.
Like it was said in a previous post, rarely does PWE reimburse people for their lost items, except for very rare occasions, but you can't expect them to do it in your case.

can you define "accident"? it doesn't seem like you know what the word means, or you dont feel like you should take responsibility for your own actions. I got several PMs, mails, and chat boxes about a free gold site too, but im not a greedy moron who thinks that people are breaking their own necks to give me free stuff with no strings attached.
what do you want? a prize for only doing something you shouldn't do once? I havent given my banking information to any nigerian princes since the last time i did.
i havent smoked any crack since the last time i did.
i haven't robbed any liquor stores besides that one time.

Yes, besides it taking way to long for them to respond there are several other issues wrong with it. For example the lack of looking into the problem itself, they just send basic responses or blame the player. This is very offending to any player, no exceptions to that. Another issue is that what ever your problem is, the PWI crew does not often see any problem at all. Nor try to fix the problem.
I been hearing some people got simply banned because they dared to ask specific questions about why the PWI crew act the way they do (contents like greed, not being interrested in their users, not wanting to offer a decend customer service and such). If this is true? Well I can not verify the stories about this, but if it is indeed true it is VERY bad for the company and any game they produce.0 -

While the response system could use some work.... it's also true that things like the OP described take such a large precedence it's kinda sad. People should be taking responsibility for their actions instead of expecting PWI to babysit them.0

I checked the website a day later and it was offline/dead. plus i think pwe should do some reimbursing or replacing depending on the situation of the ticket sent. yea i can understand that someone who does this alot should learn a lesson but what bout those that dont get suckered into scams and end up losing somethin in the process who end up on the scammers target list? something should be done bout players who fall for things on a first time basis. I still do think that pwe should do somethin bout their response system since the only reply i got was this "clean your pc of any and all virus/spyware, make a new password and continue playing" yeah like that should help plus ive already did a pc scan and all is in the clear. so someone should think that this calls for a reimbursement or replacement of the stolen items. So wait... you fail at the basics of safekeeping and are blaming the company for that?
It's common sense that you should not enter your login information on any site that is not PWI. And you should be able to tell that by the URL, as all the official URLs have .perfectworld.com in them.
The problem with "reimbursing" people who get scammed is simple: Actually bringing back the original copy of the item is often impossible, which means the only option is to spawn a new copy. Now, make this into an account full of prized items and have it happen to dozens or hundreds of people. That'll cause quite some tremors in the market. Especially because it's not necessarily even possible for PWE to verify that you lost the items, as if someone else logged into your account and traded them, it could just be you trying to scam PWE for freebies. Repeat that over with dozens of people and it just becomes more practical to ignore them.
Also note: Your login information is your responsibility. You cannot blame PWE because it was you who logged into a non-PWI site. It takes a mere glance to identify a scam site, so you cannot really argue that point either. PWE obviously does not take any responsibility for what happens when you use your login information for anything other than logging into the game and the official PWE site.I am Olba. This is the official forum for PWI. We are on the official website for Perfect World International, which is the very version we play. There are no links on this page leading to a scammer site posted by any Gm or any sort of person with authority that would encourage anyone to visit such a site.
It even states on the top of the fking page to watch out for scammer sites.
I dont know honestly if youre trolling or youre actually simply that fking stupid. As for other people, well if they are too ignorant to read the important announcement its their own fault.
I even seen an in game msg warning players about phlishing sites and not to trust them.
Yet if people are still so stupid to believe they will get free stuff, then they deserve to be scammed and i got no sympathy for them. GROW A BRAIN!0 -

Anyway, yes, the ticket system is slow. Yes, there are generic copy and paste replies. But here's something to consider. For every post someone makes in the forums raging about this or that, there are probably five hundred unintelligible tickets sent in. I imagine it takes a very long time to sift through all of that, the lies, false tickets and people demanding free stuff to find a genuine issue.
The answer time isn't the best, but I suppose on average I'm at least satisfied with the ticket system. I mean, when I sent in a multitude of screenshots of a guy following me around in the game, blatantly harassing me, they didn't do anything to him.(Which would have been nice, he was bothering my main for quite a while from alts and the black list is only so big.) But on the other hand, when I married my alt to my friend's main so she could do MQ and we didn't have the option to turn in for rewards after we got 100K contribution the person responding to that ticket was pretty nice about it. It took nearly two months of back and forth, and even though we didn't have a screenshot of having hit 100k(I had never been a groom in the wedding before, I was too concentrated on not **** up to take screenshots.), they eventually did confirm that we hit that goal with the guests and gave us the reward we should have gotten. Which is more than some companies would have done.0 -

There has been warning about these kind of sites on the forums for months now... you don't really have any excuse. While i feel sorry you lost your items, it's 100% your fault, use this as a learning experience and don't give out your info anymore.full 3r9 +11/12 (still using immac shards though) w/o CSing, leveled to 105 spaming pv, yes i have no life =D0
