Having the same problem Uploaded them around 14-15 and can't see them anywhere..

I think if someone deleted all the double uploads and the spammers images, that would cut in half, if not even a third XD

But yea, seeing how so many people posted nearly the same scene with just a little difference, maybe a limit of entries would be cool next time. b:surrender

Well, 800 submits, sure,sure. 104 pages and most of them are spammed images.

This should be a fair contest. LMFAO.

Since I only submitted one, my chances of winning against the 40+ duplicates of certain screenies I saw floating around the 90 pages of entries are about as good as a popsicle's chance in hell. And since it doesn't have sins/earthguards in it, I'll NEVER win.

Oh well, my entry was received at least. b:chuckle

Well it's more like the judges will pick the one that stood out to them most. And after going though screenshots, the ones that are most likely to leave an impression are the ones they see over and over again and liked. That's because they're more likely to remember just from the sheer number of times they saw it. For example, the pic of yours I can remember most clearly is that wedding one because it's the one I saw the most. But the picture I liked best of yours is actually the library one. Still the one whose details I can remember the easiest is the one that is the most numerous. However, since the GMs are aware of the issue. I'm sure they can filter it out and combat it that way, in order to make sure that it's fair.

And even though people are being critical, I think that it's completely unfair. Most of the pictures that have repeats are not just different angles, they are the same picture. And people uploaded them multiple times because the GMs were very slow in showing them to the public and the uploader itself had a lot of problems. Causing people to upload them even more often. It isn't your fault (or any of the other people who have tons of repeats) that they are so many of them. If the GMs had uploaded the pictures within the time frame they specified on the uploading tool, and had one a simple filter by name to make sure that several copies weren't being uploaded by the same person, it wouldn't have happened.

pretty sure I submitted entries waay before the deadlines (even before that first deadline). Really bummed not a single one made it. Even more bummed that upon viewing the recent entries I see some of the same spammed images. I know an apology was made for those, but is it really that hard to sit there and filter thru what was a small amount of images (and still, quite frankly, is)? Maybe im missing that there could possibly be more important priorities than assisting the community of PWI and helping them with this frustrating upload situation. I don't normally complain, but taking screenies in PWI is something I will always love about this game. Make it a part of a contest and I get extremely pumped. If my prnt scrn button had bones, theyd be broken in millions of places from being pushed so many times seeking that perfect angle and moment. Probably should have double checked to make sure my entries went through but I didnt. Oh well, guess theres always other screenshot events. b:surrender

Update: Hey everyone; since loads of people are having trouble uploading images, we're going to extend the deadline by one week while our team looks into it. Since Descent is coming out tonight, fixing the upload issue wouldn't be a top priority, so that's the reason for the full week delay.

Sorry about the confusion, and about the bug itself; we'll get everything back up and running as soon as possible.

New deadline: 2/22/2012 at 12pm PST!

Same. Really rather upset by this. It said it was successful and all that. I'm happy with the winners and all but I can't help but feel rather gipped about this whole entry thing. One shouldn't need to spam the same entry several times just to get looked at once.
