    It's now been downloading for two hours. I have roughly another 7 to go.

    its annoying started before i left, went to the hospital got back, quarter of the way done.
    to download the patch manually do i have to stop installing the game

    I downloaded patch and am installing it, but its still taking a long time to install.

    Its sorting patch files now QQ;

    You just download the manual patch, then run it is a admin (windows vista/7) and it installs the patch. It makes it faster because when you download it via the client, It has to download, install, verify, next file, so it takes like 2x longer.

    No point in me doing it now then. It says it's going to take about an hour to download the patch, then if it takes half the time it'll still be around the same time it will take for me to finish the install I have going. Just my luck. b:chuckle

    People have been having problems with launching the game when they just download it via the client, so chances are downloading and installing the manual patch is better, but if you are close to being done then I would just let it go.

    Yes, you have to close your client to start the manual patch.

    Hmmm. I guess we shall see. Maybe I'll install the manual patch on my external that way I'll have it one way or the other and I can play off of that hard drive if the update on my PC doesn't work.

    I downloaded the manual patch last night, took about 10 mins. Got on the computer this morning and installed it, went afk to take my dogs out and came back to it being complete. I cant say how long it took to install since my dogs take 20 some minutes to go, but it was <30 minutes for me to download and install
