When I heard about the recasting I was about to start playing pwi again, reunite with my faction and recast my rank but heck no, I'm not about to farm the same old nirvana a billion more times. No thx pwi. What's the point of the faction trials if you need nv mats too lol.0 -

So the rank 8 doesn't need anything from nv? If so then that's ok but still dumb for the rank 9 people. I haven't been able to check out the new update so I can't really check. Then again rank 9 is good enough as it is. I just hope the rank 8 recast doesn't require a crazy amount of mats.0 -

Yea I was talking about the person you quoted. Also same here I got excited when I heard about rank 8 recast since I never had any intention of trying to get rank 9. But eh I guess they still can change it. Needing nirvana mats for rank items is just plain stupid. I would think that people would be tired of running that dungeon over and over. Then again with all these 5aps people they probably won't care.0 -
It would still be nice to have the wedding candy exchange though, tbh it would help the market sorta, token prices would skyrocket, and that would cause More people to buy packs.0

Probably most people ignore that fact.
I still haven't been able to finish downloading the game update, but from what I have heard the changes are good. Finally after having for almost one year the best gear at the reach of a few credit card slides, the game has a gear that you can farm. If anyone wants it, he will have to farm it or buy a lot of gold to get the coins to pay the farmers. This will stimulate a lot the economy in game and will attract more people.
I hope PW has already learned its lesson and will not make it easier to get the 2nd cast rank9. In the long term this will keep PW alive longer.0 -

From what I can see of the mods from the in-game encyclopedia, recasted Rank 8 for some characters is better than G15 Nirvana. For example, sins get a Fixed Mod that is either 3-6% crit, GoF, 10-25 atk lvl or 10-25 def lvl, plus the option for mods that are similar or better to those of G15 Nirvana.
Now all we need is for various factions to do the Trials to chart the difficulty of farming the mats.I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. And even less would I go by Olblaze. Please, take a second to read a person's username.

Every single gear upgrade in the game costs significantly more than the last, and gives (generally) diminishing returns in terms of improvement.
-Flawless Citrines cost 140k and give 40 hp, Immaculates cost 5 times as much and give 50 hp.
-tt99 sleeves cost about 14mil to make, 100 uncannies (30-40mil) to upgrade once, and another 150 uncannies (45-50mil) to upgrade again.
-g14 cube necks are 1/3rd the cost of g15.....
-before packs, g14 boots and helms from past maps took 3x the items to craft as g13.....
and on and on......
it's the same in most if not all MMOs, unbunch your panties please.
To those saying not many people will do it, that's true, no one in their right mind actually. But hell, people made warsoul weapons, people bought r8 for tokens when it cost what r9 does now, people buy the newest pack mount/flyer for 5-10x what it will be worth in a week or two.........
To those saying merchants will make all the money, what are you smoking? Can I have some? Merchants can mark up about 10-20%, granted, they can make fast money this way; but for every canny or rap that a merchant makes a profit on, the original farmer got 80-90% of the money.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Only rank 9 recast requires it, rank 8 however requires mats from the nine trials in the new fac base instance, and from what i hear, its nearly FLIPING IMPOSSIBLE, you get 1 of the mats for completeing a trial and others are gotten with a different item from completeing a trial, which you need 10 - 30 of depending on the mat, so a possibilty of 27 a day, multiplied by the number of the mats you need to even get the stats you want, its ridiculous.0 -

Months type of difficult. The common mats can be bought/traded but the rare mats that are a behotch to get can only be quested for (you can't trade/account stash them).BladedZero - Sanctuary

The mats are listed in there as well, also at the forges, which are right next to the Faction Base Manager.
Encyclopedia -> Gear -> Search for "Eon" -> Pick the one you want -> double click the picture to open the Crafting menu -> double click the name of the one you want -> Get the recipe
