I started this game over two years ago, and I distinctly remember there being a MUCH more active presence of the GMs, they used to use system chat all the time to type up jokes, one time it was funny bickering if I remember right, they also used to be like "its the beginning of a new day..." and say the day of the week and funny stuff about it. I miss those days. I used to see a GM at least once a week or hear about one being in some city somewhere at least. I know they used to answer the GM call button, they used to monitor WC more... and yeah, as someone mentioned, there used to be GM meet and greet events, I used to go to them, and they'd summon epic WBs and such. They'd show off new fashion that would be coming out, and mounts. Those events were so packed, the lag was ridiculous, but they were a LOT of fun. I honestly miss those days of PWI, those were the days I was so enchanted with this game...

I remember those days too. It's a shame they don't still do all that. Most of the time they get hounded by morons now when they show up in game.
Although I did see one standing at west gate not long ago with noone around but I think they'd been there for like 6 hours doing nothing lol

Maybe they are watching this thread, I just had a gm pop up out of nowhere in a bh79 that I was just getting ready to solo for my bm alt, didn't say anything just kind of stood there for a sec and then vanished...maybe it's a half-assed way of showing their faces....although I'm sure their presence could be more useful in other instances....*cough, cough fcc*

I dont think any GMs play the game anymore. They prob did at the start, but the game got too boring for them and they are trying out the new ones....that explains why the sales and glitches have been so horrible.

I'm bumping this back to first because it seems that the majority of the player base wants this

Also not sure of Bearclaw read this (or found out what guild I'm in) but, thanks for making an appearance before our TW.

I think when the supervisor looks across the room at all the GM desks he sees them hard at work at their PCs. If he'd actually leave his cube and walk around the room he probably see that they are all putting in online apps with Guild Wars 2 and Tera online.
