    etc etc.. there's 15 of them with different IDs, but only THEY can check what mobs are spawning in the instance against Styren. I think WE can use tools to check Styren, but we can't check frost itself

    You can see trough tasks.data, and get the mosnter ID, then run element.data for it, and check the exp value, I think.

    Oh well, it's not fixed tho, people just told me it's giving the same experience, I'd love to get an answer why that's hapenning frankie?

    It takes a very specific method to get this particular glitch to work, so the players who engaged in it knew exactly what they were doing.

    The glitch involving Shocktrooper isn't fixed and neither is the glitch involving Styren. Aside from those two I can't think of any exploit in FC that would be worth fixing so... would frankie like to tell us exactly what they did? It'd be much appreciated.

    Sounds to me that having had the developers fail to 'fix the glitch', Frankie is trying to scare people by waving the threat of a ban around (PS I oracled my archer to 101 using 35K + tokens..what a loony i must be....)...that's what it looks like from over here anyway Frankie, sorry!

    Can't really see what they can do at this late stage in the process- banning all those who glitched their way to 100+ will just lead to a meltdown at customer service followed by a legal XXXX storm as Cs'rs issue proceedings which causes huge bad publicity and share price crash...

    Taken way too long to do anything about a known glitch, milkrd it with sales for all it's worth and now that sales dropping off 'wave the banhammer'.

    Developers lacked the willpower to make one simple change as soon as they heard about it, and that would be to make the exp from that one mob 1exp, or take out the spawning code, which suggests that they didn't really care that much to make the change.

    This late in the day the only thing I can see happening is delvling of the toons to 100 or 101 dependent on the level of their gears, etc and even this will generate huge negative feedback...

    I think this proves that we need much more active 'hands-on' GM's actually ingame and known to be active dealing with queries and d'cing glitch squads, etc - at present there seems to be no GMs around, ever, and didn't even turn up to celebrate the new server launches or help new players on those servers.

    Needs a rethink...

    As far as I know, they can't change it without a permision, and that's what took them that long.
    Anyways, I don't believe they will ban whoever did it, but I do believe they just implemented some system to trace whoever does it now, and get some names, before they fix it.

    That's what I figured. Last patch was to lay the ground work for a tracking system and this patch started it up.

    They are prob trying to get names before they actually fix it, so they can say they actually banned someone.

    Idk if you guys know this but pwe owns your account. You can charge a billion dollars on it one day and they can close it the next for any reason. Obviously they dont, theyd get a bad rep. But if thy close the csers accounts due to abusing the tos, there will be no negative drawback to it besides short term loss of income that will be quickly replaced by new players. Not banning these glitchers however, will have much worse consequences. Players will lose faith in the game. They would feel no need to follow the rules, and this game would fall apart. Which to me, is what's happening right now with this goonz glitch. Not to mention changing sp to pk enabled instead of fix a simple glitch. You're scaring a lot of new potential cash cows away with this lack of company accountability. If I just started this game yesterday and seen all these problems, and the way management handles it, I'd turn right the **** around and find another game.

    it's against the ToS to modify files, not to look at them. With the right tools you can look at/modify anything client-side.

    I just wonder how HT will change if they ban all the 105ers on the server, since HT has the most FC glitch abusers out there.

    I can come up with 3 diffrent punishements for the glitch users:

    1. Perm ban. A fair punishment for the ones used the glitch, however, the glitch abusing is so spread now, that if you didnt do it, you mostly know a friend or two that have done it. If friends are lost, not only the glitch users are punished, thier friends too.

    2. Block for x days. Problem with this is when the player gets back, he/she still have the exp, and prob still have advantage over the non-glitching players anyways. To make it fair, the block has to be as long it take to get the exp normal way, witch could be for months. Pretty much the same as perm ban then..

    3. Roll back the exp. I really hate rollbacks, if ive grinded 2% last hour and get that roll backed i would get so pissed of. Imagen if players goes from lvl 100 down to lvl 70 again, i belive many would just rage quit.

    Even if I get really annoyed about players that uses the glitch, the best solution imo is to just leave the glitch there for everyone to use. Let the player base choose if they wanna use it or not. Some players wanna hit end game asap, others just wanna go slow and grind. Its the only fair thing to do, the damage is allready done.

    A simple roll back i think its fine. The punishment is
    1) the roll back and
    2) the coins and charms they spent to do the glitch

    To be honest, I'm completely uninterested in hearing from the goonies about what punishment they think is fair. I'm enjoying watching them squirm.

    IMO they should be given a nice vacation (2week to 2month+ account suspension, depending on the severity of the glitching) in addition to a level reset to 1.

    Resets to 100-101 is no punishment at all, in my opinion. Even they would agree, since they have been claiming from the beginning that level means nothing above 100-101 anymore, except for the minimal stat points.

    As to the argument about "all the cashshoppers are gonna be angry", I'll say this once again: THIS cashshopper is THRILLED that something is finally being done. I'm not alone, there are many big spenders here who haven't cheated, and we'll be all the more loyal when we see that action is being taken.

    lol no one is going to be banned. That is like getting a restraining order against someone who gives you a ton of money all the time. GM's NEVER ban CSers. It's just fact.
