All original class and race has a special genie skill except tideborn and earthguards. PWI hasnt updated genie skills in 2 years. wtf

Actually they were updated!!
They nerfed some of the skills a month or so after genies were released, if I remember correctly.

Yeah, i remember the nurf...
I still have a genie that cannot use ToP cuz they changed the affinities.
IMO fishes are already overpowered, they dont need any personal skill.
Since many genies skill are based on things such as APOs and stuff they should add an anti stealth skill like the detenction pots we have already.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I think there was only one nerf. If they ever do magically decide to revisit genies they will hopefully add a detection skill.

Even IF we needed a genie revamp, would you really trust the current devs to do something that complex? Especially considering they probably aren't the same devs who made the genie system?
I mean, everything they touch seems to turn to ****. The genies aren't perfect, but they are more-or-less balanced (at least compared to other parts of the system). I say, let's not rock the boat. >_>[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

nah, there were two, after the second one they had to make a quest for everyone to get free resets because they really munged some of this skills. Too bad the quest was only valid for a couple of weeks and then removed again.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

I know, an assassin skill that makes you stealth mode and unable to be targeted even while you are attacking! It's brilliant!
My point is, assassins and psychics do well enough without their own genie skills. I honestly don't know what more you can add to those classes.0 -

I remember that nerf (when holy path became self only and stamina costs were raised across the board), but I don't remember any nerf before then.

Tree of protection was the first nerf. Went from full instant heal as well as the max hp increase to the heal over time we have now. Was around the same time they made lucky points the deciding factor in amount of skills as opposed to mag lvl.0 -

I'm bad about clicking on links like that lol . There were a lot of description changes up to the patch you linked. There were actually more changes then I remembered back then. Like the ones in this.

Pretty much can just dig through the patch notes from the time they were added in the Age of Spirits expansion. TOP was the one that stuck out the most as far as my genie use was concerned. Ah the memories.0 -
