    I totally saw that! oh, wait....and at least it doesn't happen on a regular basis. I think DW has actually had to ban people from using teles from all the wc spam, although that could just be an urban legend. I wouldn't know.

    it would be nice if one of the GM's could chime in on this. I know we've got to have more than 3, but you never see them on the forum. (I can actually think of 6 offhand, but one may have moved to another game.)

    QQMoar buddy. The only reason I was spamming WC as heavily as i was last night was to prevent the goons glitch to the best of my ability. I apologize for the fact that your friends were to lazy to check their friends list or faction to find their squads. Nothing I did was bannable despite what ANY of you may think. I used what little power I had to my advantage and if people wanna spam WC for goons squads I'm more than happy to help them spam "GOONS GOONS GOONS GOONS GOONS...." on it. I wouldn't be surprised if you recognized the name and hated me before this either to be completely honest with you. However, WC really hasn't been a place for finding legit squads ever since goons came out. So until goons are fixed you can probably see more posts like this on the forums, and more spamming in WC on our server. The only advice I can and will give you is to blacklist me and whoever decides to follow me to help eliminate publicly announced goon squads from WC.

    What Jerk said. Honestly, even beyond the whole Goons issue-- if we're putting money into the game this way, doesn't it mean that we're helping it stay free? I don't see why you'd complain about not having to pay for something you enjoy. So what if we were pretty ridiculous in World Chat. It amused us and even amused a few others, if this thread's any indication. :p

    I just want to say that people are so upset about the fact that there was so much spam last night that everyone forgot how much spam we all have seen since people started begging for goons squads (which was a long time). I am not whining about goon squads but at least I am one of the few that is proud enough to say that I never used goons to level any of my characters and I know each of my characters pretty well.

    There have been instances of worse spamming nonsense before yesterday (and a lot of the old time players will know what I'm talking about) and at least it was for entertainment. I always keep my WC off because I can't stand to see how many people are abusing a glitch and just spending so much money to power level their character from 1 to 105 in less than a month. And when it comes to actually playing, the only thing that is saving them is heavily cash shopped gear.

    Usually mods and GMs would want to take care of issues like this, abusing a glitch, even if that means not getting as much revenue anymore because people charged so much to do this kind of leveling. I used to play MapleStory where there was a glitch that allowed people to level to 60 in a few days. It wasn't long before the lot of them were banned. It's really sad where money talks louder than the players.

    I actually felt this exact thing...

    I just did a full FCC, and the boss right after heads and right before phoenix dropped another FCC necklace. Took maybe 30 minutes to find a cleric.

    And I'm not concerned about people trolling, cause you know, I'm gonna probably be doing it back to them, seeing how lax the moderation really is here.

    I know it sucks not to be taken serious Sarrafeline. I understand your point very well. Actually, i even support people who try to search partys by themself (FC,BH,TT) and not are getting lazy because there are so many highlevels in the Faction who are helping (or are suppose to help <- to quote some people i met).

    It is just funny and sad at the same that things like this are not taken care of by the GMs.

    Ya, I met some nice people doing FCC's, did an FCC last night with a non-aps group (minus myself). It's how I populate my FL. It kinda sucks bothering faction-mates constantly to do FCC when they don't want to, and it's really hard now, after some of my friends quit faction. =\

    As for not being taken seriously... I don't think the GM's take the players seriously. You know, if they did, the **** that happened on WC would have been stopped within 10 minutes of it starting, glitching goons would be nearly impossible for fear of getting banned, and they would actually do something other than try to figure out the next pack sale.

    Exactly. And besides, if they banned everyone doing Goons, the servers would be ghost towns. I think there would be a few catshops that haven't done goons yet, but just about everyone else on every server has so far at least tried goons once.

    I never did it and don't intend to, and I'm sure many people haven't.

    I do know some people who have done it and they know they won't get banned, lol

    They charge 5m per 30 minutes of goon slaughter, 5m per goon, only extra stupid csers might fall for that!

    I'm going to start screencapping WC and posting, here on the forums, some prime examples of stuff that happens daily... I will remove player names.

    If PWE is perfectly fine with this **** happening on WC, then they should be fine with it being reposted onto the forums.

    There are actually a LOT of ppl who have never done it, and don't intend to. Heavy cashshoppers among them.

    The people who ARE cheating would like everyone to believe that everyone is doing it, and that all cashshoppers are. It's their way of trying to legitimize their actions. Doesn't change the facts of the matter though.

    Again, there is nothing wrong OR against the rules about chatting on WC about things other than goons. And i guess we're gonna just keep using teles to chat amongst friends for while. I'd much rather see that than non-stop cheat posts. Sorry some people have trouble seeing the difference between the two.

    I actually LOL'd out loud at hearing some people think it's WC chatter that is affecting getting normal squads, instead of understanding it is the dynamics of constant heads sales and glitch squads that have (maybe irreparably) altered gameplay.

    And Sarra, since you keep WC off 99% of the time, as you say, you're not really in a position to assess the impact.

    To those complaining about what people say on world chat, it's not like you are required to view that channel at all times. Just turn it off until you actually need it on.

    Yeah read it, ppl can't get goon squads.

    Can't be a problem of ppl getting regular squads, 'cause that's been the case for weeks. 'Cause of the, yk, goon squads. I think that's a pretty accurate description of the problem.
