    Mystics are meant to be a versatile class.
    I can solo some instances and failed at other instances.

    Likewise I am sure you tried soloing a lot too.

    but ...but... you are a healer... you re not suppose to DD, just rez us when we die and heal us whenever our hp drops, ideally put a BB everywhere.

    Likewise I know good friends who are barbs and can solo whole instances like fc without a cleric...

    Hmm you forgot to mention their awesome sleep skills. My Mystic has saved many a squad from disaster with Listless, Vital and Healing herb combo. In my opinion too many people don't know how to play alongside mystics properly thinking they are like clerics and therefore end up dead pointing the finger at mystics when it is themselves to blame.

    Ele is just hating because even a wiz does a better job at healing than he does. Mystics are awesome and are one of the most attractive classes (very nice head shot btw).

    Mystics are a good class, except I gave up on mine simply because the mp consumption is way too big, was burning a plat mp in 2 days with hard core questing at lvl 70 ish.

    I have two hatreds for mystics.

    First: Their heal pet. The effect for it is the same as a *health drain* effect from mobs.
    It looks like the health is getting sucked out - and more importantly, in places where there ARE mobs that do that, it wastes time and nervous energy as I frantically look around for the add. EVIL.

    Second: Storm mistresses. Specifically - I want their fashion. And their glaive. And to stop wondering why 'player info' doesn't work on them. They're just too pretty, dammit. And look too much like a caster-class in feathers fashion.

    Mystics can't compare to a wizard?

    Well reading this made me go find the nearest R9, and ask for a duel.

    It's just a fight in west arch, but the wizard was full R9 sharded Josd, and +10 R9 wep. We had 2 duels and I won both of them. I used a +8 R8 wand.

    mystics can't hit hard like a wizard?

    I wonder how hard I'd be able to hit if I actually had a R9 weapon and a full magic build (I have 70 pts in vit atm).

    I can also solo just about everything in this game without R9 or Nirvana gears. You think we need our pet to tank? We're just as tanky as a well-geared wizard, except we get to heal ourselves for 5-7k hp. I was able to solo Wurlord 2-2 squad mode without a charm, people underestimate how well mystics can heal both themselves and the squad while still putting on nice damage @ the same time...

    I personally thought that Mystics were the love rectangle of every magic class gone horribly wrong.

    Of course...I did watch a Mystic take out KissMySpells, and she was in TT90 green. Isn't Kiss in...R9? Oh wait...he is!
    I seriously didn't take mystics into account as a class until I watched Hatche take out Kiss. ...or when I watched a Mystic tank (tank, you read that right,) an FC with nothing but Salvation. That sht was just scary. b:shocked

    But as usual, someone will complain, people will flame them, they will end up being right eventually (like with Assassins), and everybody else will realize it and complain too, only be be flamed by people with nothing better to do, and the braincell number equivalent to that of a ripe pineapple.

    The only useful thing I can think of for a Mystic is that they are too much like Venomancers, with a rez buff. The rest of it is just unneeded. Give the cleric the rez buff and take down the class, and I wouldn't complain. I just can't see either EG class being useful.
    They made fun of me because I wasn't a R8 Psychic...and then came third cast. It's not funny anymore.

    It's not just mystics, seekers too. The entire Earthguard race is entirely unoriginal. Seekers are basically BMs with their tankiness and AoE, Mystics are a mix between Venos and Clerics.

    srsly, I love having a mystic in my squad. On aoe bosses the healing-plants are awesome to have near the casters. That way the cleric doesn't have to focus on also keeping the ranged ppl alive.
    And well.. their res buff is just <3

    I don't hate mystics, but they can be kind of annoying in instances like fcc where their aoe scatters all mobs in every direction, leaving me there barraging pretty much nothing, the melees either chasing mobs or standing there like idiots, and all of us anticipating the wave of mobs newly aggroed by the scattered ones(depending on pull location). I do not see them as a replacement for a cleric or a veno. Also, people like to say they are overpowered, I don't think so much of this because usually those people only judged this by 1v1/duel situations where the mystic will likely have all their little tricks and their shells ready to use. I don't think they will be common after their newness wears off, they didn't turn out to be the great sin detectors as many of us hoped and Clerics/venos do their own jobs just fine usually. Good support, but I don't think it will ever be as wanted in squads for end-game activities.

    how do you know what they think? coz u qq in every thread that they think they are better than clerics, didnt know pwi has so many mind readers, its almost a miracle and we better contact nasa with this

    at first i hated the idea of the EG, jack of all trades, masters of none. then i saw how effective they can be. while they will never replace the older classes no matter how hard they try, a little extra 'oomph' never hurt anybody.     why is everyone worried about Mystics trying to be da shet and this and that in PvE??? heals, DD, whatever?

    Mystics work better in PvP, there's just too few of us out there and in TW for everyone to notice. I'm pretty sure one of our biggest strenght is that very few people know about our deals. We can debuff, seal and then nuke really fast, and not just 1 target. It's just a matter of knowing what to do.

    Sick of ppl talkin about pve and bhs and low level shet. when u've experienced it with all classes already, whats new? PV? srsly?

    Oh yeah they have a very strong physical attack that takes 5s to cast. Its up to you to imagine what a wizard can do in 5s.
    Mystics are good teammates. They cant replace clerics most of the time, but they will debuff, stun with chihyu, do damage, heal squishy sins before they die, and many other uses.

    Dont forget about their amazing rez that shall ONLY be used on the cleric because it costs too much mp to cast.
    People must stop being selfish and let Mystics do their job. Mystics don't have to buff whole squad, Resurrect Lv 10 costs much more MP than YOU squishy sin has, so F**K off.

    depends on if you're the only healer or not on whether not to cast rez buff on the party. If there is a cleric I cast it on the cleric, and myself because I'm paranoid around other clerics. I think cuz i'm so used to watching after the whole squad. So i'm always like if this **** starts spamming chb (or refuses to use it in situations when they should) i'm gonna go bananas. B.a.n.a.n.a.s XD cuz i aint no holla back girl

    More PvE talk. Why do people think that's what PvE servers are all about?

    EDIT: also, lol at the pet talk too "stun with chyru, cragglord does good dmg..., bla bla bla", lol, most of the times u'll just leech the thing, unless its salvation.

    The only downside to a Mystic, and I play both a Cleric and a Mystic, is that a Mystic has to use much more mana then what I feel is practical on several levels. Other than that, I love the versitality the charactor offers, and when a Cleric & Mystic work well together, well, it just adds up for a lot of fun for the whole squadb:pleased
