    oh i dont buy the clothes... just all the accessories. :)

    its always fun to go in there because its like backwards land... i'm the one stared at instead of the type of people that tend to go in there. i'm so....boring.

    I'll admit that some of the clothing Hot Topics has is just hideous; but there are still quite a few pieces that are so adorable, it's wrong. However, most of the accessories just kick ***. I miss my "Taste the Rainbow" sticker I bought from there.

    Aside of the S&M and "look at me" attention ho **** they sell in quite a few of them, I like the very plain Jane t-shirts they sell of industrial and heavy metal bands. Sometimes they temporarily carry t-shirts of tours that are going on locally at that moment, and in all likelihood, half the price ($15 compared to $40 at the concert itself, or $20 for a bootleg in the parking lot or w/e), which is why I probably average a couple new Hot Topic shirts every year.

    What's hilarious is Hot Topic changed quite a bit since when my oldest sister was young and it was quite the scene for teenage girls pretending to be goths and vampires. I used to like getting looks when I'd go inside Hot Topic in a hockey jersey instead of heavy metal attire -- something about trumping the "cool kid" crowds that's too much fun to pass up.

    i used to go on sundays after church.... still dressed for church. yeah, i got quite a few looks, especially if/when i bought things. i happen to be a fan of the gloves that they tend to sell there. i looove that kinda thing.

    My favorite thing I have ever bought there had to have been my hot pink & black arm warmers. They went on just like gloves and covered everything from my hand to my elbow. I miss those...
