hello. can a GM to say me if is a chanse to open a new server in the next 45 days? yes or no.?cuz, if no: i think i'll try to play another mmorpg

    Yes, in the next 2 - 3 Weeks the EU Server will go online. You can download localized Clients for French and German and maybe some other languages. Best is you can play with all clients on all servers and the Eu servers will run the same Perfect World version as the N/A Server. Afaik its the same Company so i think i dont break any rules to post a link.

    RT has a "decent" population, arch has a dead population, opening some EU servers to split the population even more?
    Opening EU servers perhaps instead of RT and arch would of been a good idea, bit to late to open then now, then again, why the hell am I bothering, I'm just a simple player, no GM here gives a flying **** what players say if it isn't making them money, it's simply give us your moneys or gtfo.

    To be honest I dont think you can blame Gm 's for that.
    Considering the costs of adding a new server is huge and the contracts (preventive/maintenance) are very costly, I wont think they would make RT and Arch redundant.
    Maybe the marketing guys should have polled first, asking the ppl if they wanted a EU server, and if so , if they wanted to move their accounts,highly unlike to have that happen tho, dun see them shipping the storage from anywhere to europe+the fact that rebuilding data is time consuming.

    Anyways I am ahppy for the ppl who get their own server, I am from europe, but i will stick to dreamweaver.b:laugh

    Yay, now I can go play on thier server and make thier squads lag and disconnect in the middle of an instance while I am the only cleric or barb like they do here, wish you had done this sooner PWI. playing with these people from across the pond makes me wonder if all thier PCs are bad but i know they aren't just thier connection under the ocean sucks.

    Oh yeah and maybe ask question with broken German or whatever, and ask a lot of them, and make people think I am a lazy American who refuses to learn thier language well too. I really try hard to answer questions for those people here but I always have to have some one translate for me, it is very frustrating.

    Sorry community for negative post, I have been nice lately, guess I broke my nice streak with this one.

    Yeah, it's a post from loooong time ago... but right when that french site started. And i guessed it right, PWI was, by that time, planning to open european servers.

    European Server would be nice... but i would break my head on the keyboard if i can't transfer my account there T______T

    I'd really like to join a TW, or maybe events that are like in 3-4 AM where i live. But sincerely, if i'd have to trash everything i've farmed in 2 years to change server, i'd stick with RT.

    Q : Are this new Servers Threat our old Server Population ?

    My guess : Short Term, yes a little , long term : no not really.

    The new Servers arn't made to convince the existing PWI Players from Europe, they aim clearly to reach NEW Player. Of Course some People will go and Try out the new Server, of course some will stay over there but the most will come back to the NA Servers after a short visit , recognizing that it suck to start all over and leave your fancy highlevel with superduper gear behind. Manny People get stopped from playing pwi because they can't speak english or some people speak english but they are to proud to talk in something else than their motherthounge.

    The EU is a huge market and most countrys over there are wealthy. The Servers will surely generate a nice income and the only reason that EU Server dosnt exist allready is the fact that another company hold the exclusive license to run Perfect World in Europe. They screwed it, blamed the chinese devs but i believe it was their incompentence, and very SOON , in the next weeks this exclusive rights run out and Perfect World International can set up the Server.

    FRESH BLOOD, with no Knowledge of PW, it will be so awesome. No highlevel for a short moment , every noob have to play his damm class , do quests and run TT for gear. Well i know it will last only 1 or maybe 2 Months and after this the head runs offers will pop up again but i will so enjoy this time.

    Do you know any other language than English? Do you know not everyone has the possibility to have the educations you are asking for or they are too young for it?

    Educations is also having respect for someone that was apologizing for not being native... Everyone thinks that being smartasses is having a lot of education, while having respect is even more important.

    I will just tell you that you're really stupid and that people like you make me realize how much some americans suck. Blind and dumb people will never realize that not everyone has the same opportunities

    well if they can move stuff from one server to another i want my **** moved from RT to harshlands... and when a new EU server starts the server pop will drop so they now need to combine servers... i want more ppl in harshlands b:victory i think it will add a new twist to he game if you combined servers...

    Well, not necessarily the idea of a new server, but at least all events will be made to fit your time zones, rather than the multitude of complaints about the lateness of the events. In the future, expect to see, "If you don't like it, go play your own server"...not that I would ever say such a thing...b:avoid
