Vengeful's victory in TW this past weekend WAS because of the help of Instinct - I have, and will again, thank everone in Instinct for the ferocious battle that I admire them for, that made that win possible. They were better than Vengeful and kudos to Instinct
I would like to think that Vengeful helped them to some extent to spread Essence thin initially which helped them survive the initial sledgehammer that Essence is in TW.
IMO it was a win for our alliance and perhaps next week it will be Instinct the victor and gain a land instead of (or in addition to) Vengeful. We are a partnership and we are striving for equal benefits to both guilds
Will Essence continue to underestimate both guild's strenth? Bet ya's thought to just hold off Vengeful while zerging Instinct to an easy victory, then pummel Venge and gloat how both factions fail - how Essence can easily beat both next 2 stongest factions on the server. Bet you won't admit it even if true hehe.

I was in Kami at the time of KOS remember - sure didn't seem like a "friendly" agreement to me. By that point Essence was going for the entire map - cut the BS - "sharing the map" was long forgotten LOL0 -

It was pretty much mutual. On Ess side we had people like whats his name... ugh I dunno, but he would take any oppurtunity to talk sht about Essence, so would a few of their members, then Ess was like pming Spectral Oh, kill this person for us trolololol. Wadzio, the thread u linked was partly a troll, but probably u didn't get it. Oh and i saw Vengeful talking right after Saturday's TW and i saw more talking yesterday during the day. They claimed the win of CoL to be the result of Vengeful's strength. That's what i was refering to. Instinct should get the fame, they made it possible. Not Vengeful like some of ur members seem to believe. And before u say it didn't happen and ur members didn't talk, even some Instinct member was upset about it.
When u talk about trash talking in general, i think none of our guilds is any better than the other. But as ppl told u on the thread u linked and in a thread u linked there urself: sometimes u don't see what's rly happening around u, Wadzio, sometimes u r only seeing ur own truth. It's the same u r accusing me of now btw and u might be even right with it to some point, 'cause when u r part of something u can't be totally objective. But at least i see our members trash talking and don't deny it as if it never happened.
And weren't u the one who told Elayne in one of the mentioned threads to not come up with second hand information? Then y don't u just do the same? Were u part of Kami or Essence when the "drama" happened? No? kkthxbye
And yes, i was in Spectral, i saw what Essence and Kami did to us. But we only saw some of the things the way we did because we wanted to see them this way. Now i am seeing the other side and it also showed me how we were (as Spectral). It's no excuse for whatever happened between Kami, Essence and Spectral, but let's be honest: if u r part of a team the spirit gets u at some point. U start seeing things as u want to see them. Essence and Spectral were rivals. So whatever "the others" did was bad, even if we did the same to them. Or it was justified when we did it, cause they did it too...

Minx, we did underestimate Venge probably, thinking that we could hold u just long enough with a handful of ppl after ur bad performance the 2 TWs before. And making us think so was probably part of ur plan. But we didn't underestimate the power of a double attack, we've just chosen the wrong strategy right from the beginning i guess. And we also made some other mistake which resulted in a big push by Instinct (they made it from their binding towers to ours). But we were aware that we might lose a land, so no worries. As i said earlier, we had lots of fun, we enjoyed the TW vs Instinct. Finally things r getting interesting again. Something every1 was looking for. We rather lose a land in interesting TWs than getting lands by crystal walks.
P.S.: by the time the KOS happened u were already in Unity, weren't u? And if not then u should know that we had friendly TWs back then and that Kami was waiting for us to finish other TWs for that reason. Or r u trying to tell me that they waited for us in TW because we backstabbed them, because they weren't ok with those TWs? If so, then there seems to be some flaw in that logic.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Ok, I might agree with many things You have just said, but... now look at the mirror and ask same questions as You asked me. Were You part of Essence or Kami when the drama? No. To counter You, yes my alt is still in Instinct and they dont even know abt it till now.
As for trash talk - yes, both guild trash talk a lot in WC. I agree, but after last TW all on vent were asked to not WC nothing more than thx for TW - something that Athran always used to do in Spectral and Im sure You know it. Find more excuses to that and try to twist the reality, but im sure nobody trash talked Essence for losing TW, also even in this topic - we are saying that this win is the effect of 2 x attack, something that doesnt come to Your mind abt Yur double attack, because You think since You won 1 TW in 15minutes its always gonna be like that. Think twice b4 posting...

Hmm, ever got the idea that maybe, just maybe Kami's leadership tricked us by saying that it's ok to fight each other in TW? So instead of having friendly TWs to not get bored the true intention might have been making us look bad by attacking our own allies (while we didn't know better than them being ok with it). Then declaring KOS on us and telling us it's just "to liven up the server and to have a reason to keep playing" to hide the true intention while for every1 else it looked like it was the consequence of us attacking them in TW. Well, just an idea... i mean, Kami also said they would never merge with Rogaine and guess what happened like 1 week later. And weren't also some Kami the ones who went to Rogaine on their mains and alts before to be able to attack Essence cause Kami didn't do it? I guess Kami found its way to attack us and still look innocent by officially being the victim *coughcough*
So looking at it this way: don't warn YaK that we r bad allies, be warned urself instead that Instinct might trick u.
Oh, btw, YaK decided to not stay neutral with Vengeful on their own for whatever reason. They got attacked by Vengeful in TW first, then we became allies. It's not like they got attacked for being our allies, they got attacked before. Which, more or less, made us become allies as we have the same "enemy". So i don't see how they suck any balls. They don't like Vengeful (u have to ask them y, don't point fingers at Essence) and aren't scared to fight u. What does Minx say about Vengeful all the time? "At least we try." Same for YaK. They've decided to fight u and don't give up only cause u want them to or cause u threaten them to take their land.

Ok I am just quickly gonna LMAO at the thought of a Kami conspiracy to make Essence look bad...

But seriously.. I doubt that anyone needed to try and conspire against Essence in order to make them look like the bad guys or to garner some sympathy for thier own guild..
Rewind to a few weeks after CQ allowed the map to reset...
In his own words Elayne was preaching about how all Essence wanted was TW balance,
Funny how in the end all they wanted was map domination and made it clear that even after they achieved that, they would not be generous enough (like CQ was) to allow for another reset ( thier perogative of course... but what about the balance lol?)
They started to become a disliked guild because of the way they attempted to dominate and exclude all others from events by killing almost anyone that would attend them ( accidental aoe?) KOS or not....problem of course was that most were too afraid to try and stand up to them. Instead of trying to fight back they just let thier dislike for Essence grow.
No conspiracy here either... just they way things developed
Now before people try to say I am only seeing one side... I know that guilds like Spectral and now Vengeful , had and still have thier own group of haters (for various reasons which I will not dispute).
To be fair to Essence (and I have said it before)... you have to give credit where it is due...
As far as this game goes you can look at it as a game of Diplomacy ... at the start there are several players, each one develops a strategy that they think will eventually make them the winner. You form "alliances" you outrightly attack others at will. But eventually there can only be only player left.. so alliances have to be broken and destoyed.
Essence had a plan from the start... used people and guilds to thier advantage and came away in the end as the only winner.. Hate them if you want but also admire the fact that they were succesful where many others weren't.
As a current member of Vengeful and a previous member of Spectral.. I look forward to the day when we can once again have some meaningful TW's against such a formidable opponent.... while I will concede that atm we are somewhat outclassed by the polished machine that Elayne and his officers have constructed... I believe that as long as people don't lose sight of the fact that there is still a reason to try (as long as you haven't already given up on a game that seems to be fading with each passing day lol) then maybe soon we will see the downfall of the mighty Essence and a new guild take it's place
And no I am not foolish enough or egotistical enough to say that Vengeful is the one that will eventually rule all (although it would be nice LMAO)

I haven't been on the forums for a couple of days and when I come back I see six pages.... and I'm to lazy to read all of it, so can someone just sum what is everyone talking about? All I know is that it has something to do with Essence, their battle strategy and more....

but yeah, u r right. the guilds that take part in TW want to see their color on the map. the first achievement is getting 1 land. then u want to get another. and another. and a city... then lateron the whole map. humans need the achievement of objectives to not end being in a stalemate. and humans, especially males, r competitive. whatever happens this season, at the end of the day it will be 1 guild again that rules all.
and i guess it's fine that some ppl hate us. it also makes the game fun for the haters, doesn't it? it motivates them to beat us, gives them an objective. which makes the game interesting for us at the same time. both sides need each other. there is no dark if there is no light.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
