Strange Characters in Error Message - Can't start Client

Hey guys, I just installed PWI and when I try starting the game I get an error message that I cannot read. The launcher then closes without starting the game client. I can, however, read one of the words and that is "directx". I'm not sure how to load pictures on here yet but when I do I'll put up some screenshots.
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!

There are a few possibilities here:
A) Your DirectX is out-of-date/non-existent. If this is the case, you will have to visit a site that has it up for download (I suggest Googling it).
Some of the files in your install are corrupted/non-existent. You will only be able to figure this out if you verify the install.
C) Some other deep-seated problem. If the previous two options don't help it, attempt to download it again and re-install. If it fails to work, your last recourse is to submit a ticket with your dxdiag included so that the PWI support staff can give you help related to your specific situation.
Hope this helps![SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

It'll be helpful to us if you tell us some of your computer's information.
1) What is the make and model number of your computer?
2) Please also tell us whether you are running a 32bit or 64bit version of Windows. You can find out in Windows by going here: Start > Control Panel > System & Maintenance > System. Then look under System > System Type. It will then display 32bit Operating System or 64bit Operating System. Include that info with the info we ask for below.
3) To create a dxdiag log, go to Start, click on Run, then type in dxdiag and press Enter. Click on Save All Information as a text file (on your Desktop as an example.
If you are using Vista or 7, go to the Start Menu, click on the Search menu and type dxdiag.exe.
4) Copy and paste the top half of your dxdiag into your forum post (that means 50% of the text). If you have Vista, please take out the (TM) (the trademark symbol) out of the text file, as the forums will cut it off and won't display the rest of the text.
If you have a 64bit system, please click on the 64bit Dxdiag/DirectX button to save the correct log file. This is important so that we can help you find the right software for your system.
We'll take a look at it, and offer our advice (or our super cool and helpful community might beat us to answering things for you).Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

@KrittyCat - Dreamweaver I am trying out your suggestions now, I'll let you know how that turns out tomorrow.
And here's my dxdiag information:

Thanks for the quick responses guys!0 -
I tried reinstalling the game off of a new download and it didn't work. I also tried verifying the files and no problem was detected. If anyone else has anything to try let me know!!!0

Sorry your thread got lost there...
Please make sure windows updates is turned on, and install all important updates listed.
Also update your video, sound, network, and mainboard drivers from your system manufacturers support website for your model number of system.
Make sure that Direct Draw and Direct 3d is enabled too.
Also, be careful of your remaining hard drive space. You only have 7.5GB left. PWI can take up between 4GB-10GB or more depending on if you have the install files still on your PC.
Windows needs 1-2GB of free space to run decently, and 10GB or more is better.Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

Thanks for taking the time to read all that! When I opened dxdiag to enable Direct Draw and Direct 3d the enable button was greyed out. What should I do? I updated all of my drivers as well. And yeah, I know my hard drive is almost full, I might format it this weekend because my computer is a little slow.0
