    Quite the contrary, the thread is meant to seek an explanation for why people want to play a game without learning HOW to actually play it. And I'm happy I got to 75 without needing to level in a cheap lame *** way. I find that to be an achievement. And not that I can tank better than ANYONE, but half the people I squad with who want to tank simply haven't put the time or effort into their character's enough to properly do so. It's a rant thread. For ranting about the supplied topic, not for putting anyone on a pedestal, I am simply providing support for my topic. (I.E. a 2 month old noob can tank better than a person playing 1 year+)
    that's not putting myself on a pedestal, that's just sad actually.

    As for those who agree people need to learn their characters better, indeed they do.
    As for those who just want to come in here and make their own random analysis about a rant thread's intentions, please go spam elsewhere.

    Getting to 100 these days though its like pissing in the ocean. You know it won't make a difference and its just "Gratz moving right along..."

    In MY I will tell ya. You had to stand on your own two feet, people went AFK in AOE zhenning parties, it was what you knew and how you did things. In here its "Look Im level 100 in 2 months, Wee"

    Never the less you were learning about agro and when the mobs lost interest in you. The amount of agro sometimes I've taken and people just go "How the hell did you do that" and I'm like "4 years PW man." then its like "Oh."

    Some of the most awesome players I met playing PW MY on Oracle (before it was absolved and turned into ironically 'Utopia') but some of the players in PWI, man some nights I laugh so hard. They crack me up.

    Call it what you will: lack of experience, lack of reading guides, lack of reading the wiki, lack of concept of what you're class actually does. This lot never cease to amaze sometimes.

    am i missing something? in which way going AFK in a zhenning party makes u learn ur class? the only i can say is that the bm/barb did his job right.

    i would agree that solo frinding in vos is way more fun and challenging than fc; 2 sec delay in psy will and u are dead xd

    People just do bare minimum of their people and never learn their role in the game and how to do it. I hate when I see low levels paying for FF/FC so they can just jump levels. One girl talked to me about how she went from 17 to 36 in one FF/FC. So they don't learn to play their characters. It's sad. But happens.

    It's sad, there are too many fail people out there, and it's mainly because they Hyper all the time and do not even learn to play their class. However, I think some people are just plain STUPID, because I Hypered my Cleric from 1 until 75 and I'm a good healer. b:surrender But I have other characters and I'm an experienced MMO player... It also depends on your personality, some people just don't give a shi.t, some people like me take it seriously and always want to do their best. I would really hate myself if I was a fail Cleric... It makes no sense to play a character if I don't play it well. =/

    Cause you wouldn't ONLY be zhenning. You'd be doing quests as well as doing zhenning. Also luring the lag takes skill cause of the timing and Malaysia lagged a fair bit back in ithe way. Just cause they went AFK doesn't mean to say they "STAYED" AFK. b:laugh

    well as one who only joined about a year back i wouldn't know much about any private servers but i do know that i completely agree that there are a lot of hyper noobs and oracle babies but personally i find it rather hilarious when a BM of 89 can go to pk lvl 90-100s without some difficulty. i have horrible gear, barely refined and most 80 gold(which is ok but not the best), but i learned how to play my class and it has benefited me and my squads greatly when i know what to do. Now i freely admit i hypered myself from 78 or so to 89 but i did it while still questing and had been questing/BHing since lvl 1. I think that the problem with most people is they don't take the time to go back and quest when they've reached *insert high lvl here*. Idk just my two cents may or may not be right and if I'm wrong then feel free to correct me as you see fit.

    When you post in a public forum you're asking for everyone to come in and read, make opinions. Sorry if you disagree with them but you'll get people who jump on board with you and people who spam "LOLTROLLNAB" or something as such.

    I've met people who play perfectly fine and later I find out are hyper babies, and people who need help with every little thing. There's a difference between a hyper baby and a hyper noob.

    One thing that irks me is when bms don't care to use assist skills such as stuns or heaven's flame. There's more to your class than triple spark. b:surrender Although not much at this point.

    i'm not talking about the luring job; i'm talking about the wiz/cleric job (those are the ones that went afk i guess).

    going afk for more than ~1min pretty much means that you dont have to worry about the game, maybe checking for mana or any interrupts.. and therefore that you dont really learn something but just standing there.

    in any case, just because they did zhenning + quests doesnt mean that it's a package deal.
    for example, removing zhen and adding fc, would be the same.
