    Nope, there is no 'learn to play your nix'.

    Rank armor has negated the advantages that Nix gave in TW, along with Genie skills that remove stuns and stunlocks. You can re-skill a Nix, and re-armor a Veno, do a Vit build, whatever, but a R9 BM is still going to kill you before you and your nix can make much of a dent in the BM. Maybe R9 Veno could, but then what's the point of a Nix? The damage it would do is so insignificant compared to the weapon's output, it's not worth even having. A waste of 160m, $200, or a combination of the two.

    So, I'm going to more or less forget about TW on my Veno, and focus on my Archer for TW. Veno has no one hit kills for TW, and that's really what's needed now. >_>

    It's pretty simple...

    If your nix isn't stunning most of the time, it's probably because you have flesh ream set to auto and don't use pounce.

    If your nix isn't attacking your target, learn to target from a position the nix will not reset.

    Nix is non-factor, but it is still an annoyance.

    a "nix veno" has never killed me.

    a veno that happens to have a nix has.

    in other words- the nix is extra damage on top of the venos already decent damage. If you play so that the nix is your biggest offence/ace card, then you're going to lose in the upper levels.

    But if you use the nix to help whittle down someones hp as quickly as you can after a charm tick, then you're doing well.

    Besides, since when were venos ever factors in TW in terms of damage dealing?

    pulling is easy, and lets not pretend that buying skills is hard to do...

    at the end of the day, no class really takes much skill to use. some are easier to use than others in certain aspects (i.e. sins in 1v1 PvP) but no class takes an especially large amount of skill to use...

    Venos are suppose to purge and amp people in TW, not running around and trying to 1 shot people or do 1v1 against R9 BMs b:worried. Archer is not the right class if you wanna 1 shot people either.

    Go make psy or wiz if you wanna hit big numbers.

    Nixes still hurts AA/LA when you're debuffed and armor broke tho. But i agree that 160 mil for a bird is a little bit to much, nixes haven't been upgraded the same way as players gear has the last years. Compared to Rank8 for 72 bucks its even more ridiculous with a $200 pet that people can tank using 1 Crab Meat.

    1- My nix has a maxed Pounce. Even though there's supposed to be an 80% chance he stuns and gets increased attack by 25% for 15 seconds, I only saw him stun about 5 times. In a whole year. When he stunned someone in PK a few weeks ago, I almost fell of my chair. I was thinking ''OMGWTH MY NIX STUNNED?!'' *keeps staring at the stunned opponent* Not having a huge issue here. I have FR on auto and when i send the nix i hit Pounce right after I see the FR fire circle go off. Seems to work well.

    2- The idiot prefers to stare at idk what instead of helping kill something/someone. You might think I'm the idiot because I use him on the ground. Well I'm not one of the noobs who hypered at 95 in a week. Even when I use him in the air, (not 1 CM over the ground >.>) he flies to the target, and then stops about 1-2 meters over it, and waits... and waits.... and stares............................................ ........ ''HIT IT ALREADY?!?!'' and waits..... Angle is VERY important as uneven terrain will glitch any flying pet. Always attack from above if possible and if on the ground time your attack when you hit the peak of a double jump to give your nix some angle.

    3- Once I was grinding with my friend. I forgot to put my protections on whites... We weren't in squad. I was hitting tab Alt+1 constantly. Of course at one point I tabbed my poor friend. Nix went after him. I clicked about 30 on follow in 10 seconds... The nix kept hitting him.... and hitting him.... and Flesh Reaming... until the poor guy was dead. (I still feel bad about that QQ) You were grinding with a friend but not squaded? Unfortunately lag is the greatest enemy here, but I have more success changing the pet's combat mode than trying to hit follow, cause he's usually already in follow mode. I usually keep my pet on manual control and if I miss-target I'll tap passive and he comes right back.

    Yea nix ain't the best for BM's or Barbs, try to stick to LA or AA as your target of choice.

    I know it's about 160mill. I got it about 2 years ago... But I still want my 27mill back.

    There is no ''learn how to play your nix.''. The thing is an idiot. Even when I fly at a reasonable distance from the ground, he still gets stuck... Try one. You'll see what I mean...

    No, pounce is on auto.

    How about directly over the target, plus im flying at about 10 meters from the ground, and he still doesn't listen?

    I agree with that one. The thing is even more annoying than a sin... >.>;
