    The concept of being rude is simply this: They love the attention they gain from it. It's entertaining to them when others fire back at them, or get their panties in a bunch over what they are saying. It's not likely they ARENT this way in real life...some people just don't care about other people's feelings.

    Everyone,and i mean everyone is on world chat for attention, that's undeniable.

    I don't think that it's necessarily that they only want to show off. Part of the fun of an MMO is the social aspect of it, it can get boring solo grinding. So people say random things in WC in the hopes that they can meet new peeps or have a fun conversation while they are breaking up the monotony of their quests. Just for a laugh. b:pleased Cuz lets' face it this game can be a massive grind fest. I met some of the people in my fac and on my FL by world chatting. It was fun. I'm certainly not a rich player who is just trying to show off that i can buy teles. I just enjoy MMOs for the social aspect. If I wanted to play by myself, I'd hop on my PS3 and play some final fantasy XIII. Oh, and as a cleric I always buff if asked, I'll got out of my way to res someone if they ask me too, even going so far as to rez someone and distract a boss while I run away so they don't aggro it by being to close. If I see someone soloing a random boss and see their charm ticking away and can heal them without getting myself killed, I do so and buff them as well. I've also been known to hang around cities and craft things for people when they are seeking a lvl 5 or lower random craft. I always give them their stuff back and even helped a girl level up her second genie for a little while, while she away for a week, then gave it back to her.



    tldr version: b:shutup WC people aren't just showing off, they are trying to have fun. I'm a helpful cleric and crafter.

    My reply to this is becoz of hypers and oracle, ppl are not very skilled at there class or they lvl to fast to learn the mechanic of the game , therefore they ask questions which they are expected to know as for their lvls. Ppl often get mad and rude becoz they hate oracle noobs and discriminate against them. Well, it is not their fault that they can lvl through CSing, who wouldnt if it is a lazy and fast way to lvl. I must admit there are some real coc.ky ppl who think they are on top of everything becoz of : gears, lvl, experience, ...

    Thing happens............. and you will be meeting ppl like that in real life everyday ^^ wut can u do ? lol

    That's too true and this type of banter is really fun to watch.

    But then you get the drama of someone who use to be married to someone else, and both rehashing their old relationship, who did what to who, then usually a new spouse comes on, joins in and the rehashing years of who-did-what takes place.

    Then you got the guy at west that was pking, so many come out to gank them. Except seems they cannot count and the 2-3 turns into 10-12 and they are yowling about being ganked by.... TONS of folks now... with the others saying 'man are you blind!' ...

    OR the one begging people to come pk them bec they are now out of sz and they start calling people they hate names to entice them.....

    The WC that bothers me the most is when someone got scammed or duped or someone took off with all the mats from a run. Bothers me that this even happens.

    The funny ones are really cool to see... but I tend to turn off WC when the ones that get X-rated come on. Reallly dont need to hear a person try out their newly learned x-rated language.

    I agree with that one hundred percent! I don't need to know about you trading sex pictures for fash to some guys IRL best friend. Why you would feel the need to let everyone know that in the first place is beyond me. XD
