    Actually, I'm going to add to my first comment. First, you are a complete hypocrite and you gave no one hope. The only hope you gave us is when you were muted for the first time and everyone was glad that they didn't have to listen to your ignorance for a day. In fact, I think I about fell out of my chair on the floor laughing when I read that you gave people hope. Why you're a hypocrite: What you don't know is, I have actually been in the same room you have and that's right, I player info'd you. Not only is your own weapon +12, you have Primeval stones and Stones of the Salvant filling each of your sockets, which were maxed out. Not to mention you had refined everything to +8 if not higher. And this delirious thought process you have is completely ridiculous. "but to many others it made them smile, it made their day." as you say. You annoyed everyone and you're a complete **** to people. I'll admit you have some fans out there, who apparently are just delirious as you are, and actually believe you are worth the time of day. I haven't even experienced your, hmmm, dickness? and I dislike you. Let me relay a story that was told by my friend who had the pleasure of experiencing it. It was a World Boss and his faction was trying to take it out. They weren't able to maintain for very long. One of his fellow faction members said to hold on and they would get someone really good to come help who owed them a favor. And to his suprise, it was you (who has also heard terrible, terrible stories about you), you attacked the boss with ease and another player made a comment about you, lets keep in mind this World Boss has a frontal Aoe. You turned the boss so it not only took at his squad, but other players as well and then you left, like the **** you truely are. PWI did us a favor by muting you (hopefully forever) and my own opinion your legendary PVP stories were probably only achieved by how much you cashshop. So here's to you Wizzeled: Good riddance to bad rubbish.

The WB thing, ah that must be the little ***** named m000p or w/e that I killed and I do have other characters that I can put my teles on....duh, I can't be silenced.

    PWI will go on, in one way or the other - sadly, much of the fun for me has gone. That's why I moved to new games, trying one after the other including different PW versions. Didn't really like the OP ones with 1000x rates and so on, but finally found one that has a great balance - much much better than PWI had at it's best, so I am highly satisfied. Unforturnately I can't spread the good new of it since I can't mention names, but PM's never hurt.

    Only reason I log in still is also just to say hi to friends.

    IMO...the rep badges should have never gone on sale. not with trade-token system or anything else. it should have stayed "reputation" you earn a fair way. the only thing PWE could have done is to reduce the amount of needed rep. i think it would be WAY more fair to support players to work hard for something instead to pay for it (by doing all quests, help with fb).
    btw this move been predictable. waiting for warsoul to go on sale. thank god i quit the game 4 weeks ago when i saw the mess with FW lol
    retired 11/11/2009 cause of packs. came back 8 months later just to realise it got worse. retired second time 10/11/2010.

    This game takes the approach of product sales IRL. When a new model comes out, the old one becomes cheap to make room for the new products. My lap top 6 years ago costed 1.4k (actually we got a coupon for half off), 5 years later, I got a much better lap top for 500 bucks. However, people seem to expect something different in this game, why?

    Because computers and cars are what you use. You buy the damn product and you use it for years. You don't care if a new model comes out because you will use what you have for years to come; you don't care if your model got cheaper because if you wanted a cheaper product, you would have bought the model from the previous year.

    Not so with in-game gear, especially endgame gear. In-game, people always want the best because they are directly competing with each other. Suddenly, a sale like this does make your investment obsolete. You tried to be better, you worked hard to be better, and now you're not just because of a sale. An analogy would be someone weight training to become stronger, then a year later steroids become legalized. Can you see the difference? A sale does cheapen your efforts here because you were investing for competition. This is why people are upset here while they wouldn't be upset IRL when sales happen.

    This is also why I'd say PvE servers fare better than PvP servers with the approach this game is taking. A lot of people on PvE servers might not PvP at all, they just play for fun. Who cares about endgame gears? I assassinated Jewelscalen on my archer, and it was fun because it was my own little adventure. I don't spend, I don't farm hard because I have fun with what I have. With that said, I can understand how PvP servers take a much more dramatic hit than PvE servers. I can believe Michael_Dark when he says that his server took a hit and needed to recover, i can believe people when they say faction mates are leaving and quitting the game, even though my faction here on Sanctuary isn't decreasing in numbers over this sale. There is clearly a conflict between this game's original intended audience and its intended audience now. That is why people are upset.

    I hope that everyone can find their game. I hope the people that leave can find something more fair for their competitive nature; I hope the people that stay won't make purchases that they will regret.

    mr wizzled are you serious with this post? your "heavy CSing" in the past have promoted sales like these. technically its YOUR fault that a sale like this is so successful. a heavy CSer is just what the name implies, a Heavy CSer. they will buy up anything and everything in the CS if it will make them better then everyone else.

    is there a problem with that? of course not, ppl can buy w/e they want with there money. the problem however is with your hypocritical post. a sale comes along that makes it AFFORDABLE for 90% of the player base to get top line gear and because of that you rage like holy hell because everyone is now on a even playing field with you. i am willing to bet this post would never have been made if say the price was never reduced.

    oh w8 thats exactly what happened. what happened to your post pre price reduction when the badges were expensive? it was in YOUR price range and you knew ppl wouldnt spend thousands of $$$ to get the gear but YOU would. but now that its been reduced to make it affordable for everyone you rage?

    It's funny how as soon as eatwithspoons left, the game went straight down the toilet. I agree 100% with you Wizzeled. Sadly though, the devs and GM's won't listen to us. They never have and they never will. As long as there are idiots out there willing to spend real-life money on this game to support and encourage PWE's neverending greed, PWE will continue to get greedier and greedier.

    Game is dead.

    Actually the PKers and other PLAYERS of perfect world created me the way I am, they had great gear, I got better gear. It's an arms race, they started it, I finished it, now the world's gone to hell because of it.


    Just like IRL, soon we'll start launching nukes, and it'll be like this sale, only difference is the game WILL be over then.

    Although Wizzeled has CS'ed heavily in the past among many other players both present and past they HAVE not caused this problem. What caused the final nail in the coffin was pure greed on PW's part.

    To be brutally honest this has been a long time coming, but i still dont see the game suddenly dying more a slow agonising death. If you have any brain you would notice the sheer lack of people in Arch with cat shops/whatever, generally the playerbase is shrinking at a slow but steady rate, maybe after this more will drop off?

    All i know is im considering moving to WoW/GW2 F**k playing another PWI game. BoI was claimed to be different, it took maybe 2 months max before packs came in FW i predict packs will be in the shop in the first patch

    Yeah, Wizzeled was always entertaining, and if it wasn't for heavy CS'ers like him the rest of us couldn't have been playing for free, so props and thanks should go to players like Wizzeled. It's just kinda weird that PWI would choose to outright **** over loyal players like him who were happy to support the product.

    Well it's like asking why do riots start? Effectively with enough people rioting change can happen an example would be the perfect horns.

    Although products and events can be undone and taken away the damage is still left behind, it does not change the sheer greed and selfishness of the devs either which is effectively what is going to slowly degrade the game. The only reason people rage on the forums/wc and in game are because they are upset and feel betrayed/pwi have gone too far and they are right.
