I got me the genie spark skill , it works wonders for a wiz . I use it with DP , pyro , WOP or even BT on rare occasions and the damage increase is horrifiying , its stackable with undine too , its a damage increase only for wizzies no other class benefits from it and this skill made me max my DP and WOP , im making a dex genie with fortify , holy path ,an amp, spark , domain + 1 other skill i still havent thought of :D

Nice post, and I'll note...you are a sage (former LA?)....? This may sound a bit dim, but I'm still confused if you are LA or arcane at the present time. Since you are 100+, Ima assuming you are arcane.

Arcane since about 85 on this wiz. I switched pre-90 because I had cloudcharger cape and didn't need the pdef.
Now...Expel....? You use it on yourself I assume. The reason I ask is that it has been written that it was "nerfed." Naturally, therefore I distrust it. But, if you use it on yourself, then why have that and abs domain too? If you use expel on yourself, then with less genie energy use; What's the point of having domain?

And, lastly, you mentioned dragon's breath and expel as "crazy on defense". How's that work? Dragon's breath ?? That's our electric zen. Can you explain this?

    What Adroit said b:pleased

    Plus . . . .

Just to be clear, making expel unreliable for use offensively is the only thing that was nerfed with expel. Defensively it is still as useful as it ever was.

The way you "opt out" of being expelled is on the pk settings menu, "screen neutral buffs".

As Adroit says, expel works great for physical attacks, domain works against all attacks. Other reasons why both?

    1. The skills line up under the same affinities fairly well
    2. Expel lasts almost twice as long
    3. Domain has a nice little anti stun effect at the end.

Expel for sins mostly. They tend to shoot their wad as soon as they come out of stealth, so 9 seconds or so of immunity is very nice. They can chain stun you all they like. It won't matter because you take 0 damage.

I use both expel and domain on bms and archers (I can't get fortify on my crappy genie). I use expel if I get ambushed by a bm or archer (like a sin coming out of stealth) since I usually have no idea where they may be on their attack thread (stuns on cool down, full chi, etc.) and I can use that extra time to orient myself. If I am in a back and forth with a BM or an Archer I will use expel if I think they are full on chi or have all stuns cooled down, otherwise I'll use domain and try to out damage them while I have the damage immunity and anti stun and try to sleep or seal them when as it wears off.

    Casters? Of course use domain.

Oh, the other thing domain does is protect squad members in close proximity. Nice for pve stuff mostly, but there have been times I've used it to help mates in tw, especially on my no cash wiz. I try to do the things in TW I can do as well as any cash geared player (seal, sleep, debuff (undine/genie skills), stun with MS, domain) before anything else. No way I am going to out damage someone with a +10 neon with my +6 aquadash and lvl 10 skills, but those things I feel make me more useful than if I tried to just gush/pyro/bids all night.
