Where is the option that says
[x] any char that's not equipped for dungeon runs

    ???

Basically, I wouldn't have a chance of getting into any party if I tried. Gear all blue and white except for one of the rings, sockets left empty, no skills beyond Ironwood and that isn't even maxed. Standard Crystalline Magmite pet.

I might be able to convince a newbie to let me do his FB19, but that's about it for parties that I would be able to get in. With all the BH quests I probably wouldn't stand a chance to get someones FB29, as other people can clear it in a fraction of the time.

In most games, and PW isn't an exception, it's the gear and money that matters, not the class or even the level.

My slave cleric wears almost all white gear, don't have a problem getting into squads. Not nothering with goo gear till +90

Anyway, on the class question. A lot saying Psy, I don't think that's the case, In my opinion there are just extremely few of them around, at least my lvl I like get 1 psy per random bh squad maybe once a week & it's not because we aren't taking.

Just my opinion, but i think the hardest to get squads is for clerics. You won't go into TT with 1 tank 5 clerics. In most squads unless it's BH, you get 1, 2 clerics max, if it's frost or TT or Nirvana; then the rest 4-5 spots you need DD.

But meh think more depends on who is actually playing behind the char & who you know & are friends with in game.

Incorrect. The answer to this poll is veno, which I've iterated, and you confirm. Veno's are a dime a dozen for basically any squad and more often than not I saw veno's starting RB, lunar, Nirvana, and FF squads, because likely their spot would be filled quickly. The 2nd is cleric.

It sounds like maybe you had some bad experiences and took off on a mission to feel sorry for yourself.

These thread seem so heated up . . b:chuckle because of the topic ? So i read it since post 1 . . and seem people answers simply by their own experiences. Some try to defend the class they played though and say other class has the worst luck, so i look to the poll and loled. b:laugh

Mystic, since their summons won't even work in instances.
Sounds like when Wizard found out about Psychic, these time Venomancer found out about Mystic. b:laugh

    well... hummm...

You are talking about a random squad... soo I guess it depends of what you are planning to do...

FC: I would say probably most DD classes have problems entering a FC squad more cause there is away more DD classes around than classes able to handle tanking inside a FC (barb, bm or/and sins)

TT's (I would only consider 3-x): This ones can be made with very diferent types of setup, but usually there is always need for two clerics. I would say probably venos for this ones, people surely understimate the debuff powers of a veno.

nirvana: must squads, since its a instance for only +100, only care about aps on this one, soo I will have to say wizards/psy here have problems joining for the most time. strangely and I can only talk about my server, people like to go with at least one veno for nirvanas here...

delta: finally... the only dungeon I consider good enough. It requires skill, coordenation and a good squad. Its the only dungeon left that can make people pratice a class in a pve enviromnet and I am honest, if there wasn't any deltas I would probably stopped playing the game some months ago already. Items here surely help, but more than being a rich guy with godly items, its the squad skill overall that will make or break a delta. We even got extra beans and therefore more auras for going in with a rainbow squad which help us getting in a delta trying to have 6 diferent classes.

for deltas, there is definately a big problem with sins: the only way I would consider a sin in a delta squad (btw I am talking about full runs not waves 2 and 3) its on the place of a venomancer... but any venomancer with a herc, even 86, can dig faster/kill guards/get beans than a sin. I dont think they really add something good into a delta, besides going to veno spot...

    I guess that's about it ;)

Noone seems to get that I think -int is for the sheep >_> My Sin only just hit 95, itl be ages afore 96 b:cry
Hahaha! I bet half the people here have no idea what you mean.
The frenzy over -interval gear is crazy. Everybody assumes the highest attacks per second is the most important thing. I think most people don't realize damage per second is more important than number of attacks. Interval gear definitely helps, but a claw barb/archer should try using the right weapon with -interval gear and see the difference. (as an added bonus they can use their skills! OMG!)
As far as venos having a hard time getting squads, I think that's just ignorance on the part of others. I've played on a 9x veno for many HH runs and the herc not only tanks well, but does more damage on bosses than most of the other squad members. Next time you're in HH with a veno/herc, as the veno how much damage the herc is doing. Veno's aren't the best for every boss in every instance, but they do a good in most of them.
