    I'm lower level then all my friends, and yet I just fell short of the 2-year veteran mark. Level litterally means nothing now.

    Although I agree somewhat. I only know Grim to have played this game. I don't know either of the others at all. (One's a mini-mod from the FW forums, the hell am I going to believe that s/he has actually played this game?)

    Knowledge of the game isn't a asset, it's a liability.

    For example, let's say you're a mod and the company is jamming another of its schemes to "fix" Gold prices down everybody's throats. If you know the game and you know how it works you're now forced to choose between supporting the company position (that's you know is actually making the problem worse), or siding with the disgruntled forum-posters and getting booted as a mod.

    I'm actually closing this FF window, which means I'll likely be too busy to complain any more. And won't have a shortcut to this idiot orgy any more.

    Let's hope that jackass Grim doesn't do too much damage and that the other two are actually good mods. Someone has to make up for the fact that the GMs so blatantly don't give a damn about these forums.

    Gratz to all the new mods.

    I am ok with unknowns as they seem the better choice. Some of the people who are too known in these forums probably aready have quite a few who think "STHU" when they post. It's easier to build respect/trust from nothing, than to regain it after it was lost.

    They lost it about 10 seconds after they started by locking threads that didn't need it, dumping legit ones into the spam box, and ignoring others that needed attention.

    I'd rather have a known quantity that I can be confident actually gives a damn about the community than someone who isn't even a part of it, and never has been. And a spammer.
