    Hmmm to be honest I doubt u'll get any great help on this forums. We have many idiots writing here on the PWI forums.

    All I can say is tell them the truth.
    If they hate you after it come to Dreamwaver we have some nice ppl here who would be friends with you

    Just wow, i laughed so hard this post merits 2 vids as a response.

    First, serious, you have to realize more than half the people in this game are either teenagers or act like them. DO NOT TELL THE TRUTH. There, i said it and it actually is honest advice. Some people aren't likely to let it go and really, what's the use? You will have to quit anyway, because if you've been flirting you crossed a line into some very creepy part of your psyche which, although as a perv (different kind) myself i can respect, means you should quit the people you've been lying to for your own sanity's sake. Unless, of course, you have had fun exploring this new "side" to your personality, in which case you already know these guys to be gullible and not to have access to vent.

    Second, it's really not as bad as all that either, i've myself pretended to flirt with guys that apparently don't get the reason for the MAN in my name, which is especially fun when the rest of the squad gets it. The second they realize they've been trolled for the better part of the run=priceless. But in all seriousness while it isn't so bad for you, i can probably imagine one or two desperate lonely schmucks who may have felt attracted to you in that M Butterfly "men make the best women..." sort of way. So unless you want to re-enact that scene from The Crying Game and, on top of being a liar, become a cruel SoB, spare some basement dweller somewhere having to add a couple of sessions to what is probably already a lifetime of therapy needed just to become functional. So be a man, suck it up, and put on your mini skirt once more to give your friends some closure.

    You know I thought about doing something like this, because it might get me more/better friends. It's certainly worked for you. However this proved a theory I had..and now I wont bother trying it.

    Ask yourself this: If they knew you were a guy from the beginning, would they have still been so close to you?

    Easy option, keep on lying. You'll keep your "friends" happy (albeit at a lower happiness level of your own), and making others happy should make you happy right?
    As someone else mentioned, imagine being the **** on the other end of the conversation thinking you're a chicka, then finding out there's a little extra "junk in the trunk". You COULD conceivably cause some real emotional trauma to someone with an already fragile emotional state. I think that this is a real concern to take into consideration.

    Hmm, didn't have the patience to read all replies, and you probably already acted - anyways, here goes my 5 cents (Yep, I'm poor):


    Honesty. Quite simple. There is no reason to keep pretending you are someone you are not! First of all because you then decieve the friends you have gained - second of all, and more importantly, because you hide yourself.

    Honesty also has the benefit of showing you who are truly worth keeping as friends.

    PWI will continue - in one way or the other. I'm just glad I found a balanced server now that I enjoy - naming is illegal, but PM's are welcome.

    to OP, i do no what situation ur in, unfortunatly i had the experience of being one of the people that the **** was realy good friends with and had flirted with me, it got to the point of cos this person was realy nice, *she* said she lived in england like me about 1-2 hour train ride away, but what baffles me is, when i asked this person out and asked to eventualy meet up anyway, the person said yea, i never did find out if it was a male, i aint gonna say the whole story cos its damn long, point is from the way the person was acting i figured out my self its most likely a guy, if this person told me he was a guy after all that, id prob of been fueming,

    so if ur gonna tell ur friends that ur a guy...especialy the ppl uve flirted with, ull have to be brutaly honest with ur *role playing* thing uve had going on, and your *embrassed* but about saying ur actualy a guy, ill admit it will be a damn hard thing to do and will chance a hell of alot of the way ppl think about u, but once u get it out in the open ull feel a damn lot better, it will definatly be hard, but still hopefully worth it when u can just act like ur self and actualy have proper friends out of it...hopefully, hope this helped.

    Hey!, I have 3 characters, each of them ina different faction, I never lied about my sex,I'm a boy and have male characters only, and made tons of friends who apreciate me a lot and treat me well, not only in my factions, but out of it, I have a long friendlist full of cool ppl to me, and talk to me a lot (that's why I lvl up that slow, by the way b:surrender). We boys can be likeable too > >

    end of the day theres nothing wrong with males using female chars, for an instance im one of them people amongst many many others, 2 of my realy close friends are from this game ever since i met them pw-my with my veno since they both live realy close by me which was great, irony can be that, when ur with ppl ingame talking to them and they dont bother to ask if ur a male or not, though they shudnt anyway, they may treat u a tad better, idk, but after a while when ur realy good friends with them,
    (that while can be 1-3 weeks if u want if u formed a good friendship)
    and u say yea ur a guy anyway using a female, they wont think any less of u cos u never said in the 1st place u was a girl, ppl must remember that this is a game, not a dating service...

    The problem is i've made some real friendship bonds with some ppl, we tell each other's problems, make jokes and have fun together, and i really apreciate them and i know they like me too, and although i've been completely sincere in everything (except the being a guy part :P) i feel like i've been lying to them all this time and feel terribly guilty about it and i feel like telling them the truth at this point will really hurt and disappoint them cause i took it so far (i was maid of honor of one of my friends and gonna be also for another one soon :P) and im affraid they will hate me, i cant really explain it but we've grown really close; but i also want them to get to know the real me and be completely sincere. Real life sucks lately and i found a refuge in this game and those ppl

    So i dont know what to do: keep up the role play, uncover myself, quit that char and start over again, quit the game without telling the truth, quit after telling the truth or what

    Im really confused and im sorry for that boring wall of text and for any mistakes i made (english is not my first language), if you're still reading this please leave a comment or suggestion, they will be apreciated, even if they're from trolls because it will mean i cought their attention :D


    Lol just tell them you're a guy. Unless you scammed free items saying you have **** irl and promised cyberz, i dont think anyone will care much. So many guys "roleplay" as girls and when they come clean about their true gender no one really cares b/c they already meet about 30 fake e-girls.

    Pretty much everyone lies about something online because you can. They lie about job, kids, age, looks and gender. They lie about sexual experiences or they lie about not having a bf/gf. You never get any real strong bonds with people if you're only connected thru a videgame anyway. The day you quit you will most likely not talk to many of the people you played with ever again.

    I roleplay as a dude when im on my barb in random squads, its fun flirting with girls and being all manly. However i tend to panic if they flirt back and starts to whisper me XD
