    So two improvements, a bunch of worthless additions, and a ton of PWI fixing their own mistakes . . . And yet there are basic, easy to fix mistakes that have existed since the game started that they don't bother fixing.

    Yeah, I'm psyched.

    Short answer to the original post: Yes

    They want to discourage people who do not spend money on the game regularly or at all to leave now and get ready to go into Forsaken World. Making TW attenders almost guaranteed to lose tons of money when fighting longer battles. And discourage up and coming factions or the 2nd strongest faction in a server from trying anymore. They only want the people that are spending money regularly to spend as much as they can on a variety of packs/dragon orbs/charms before they realize most their non-real money spending friends are gone and they feel lonely.

    Are you a programmer? Have you decompiled the code and figured out where the problem lies? Is it really easy to fix? Sorry, sometimes obvious problems aren't always the easiest to fix... and without being intimate with the source code you have no way of knowing if the fix is easy or not.

    Look at the Tournament 'issues'. Similar to getting kicked from Rebirth, if the problem were so easy to fix, you'd think they'd have fixed it? Obviously the took it out, most likely to worok on it, yet they brought it back unchanged... Why? Seems like there might be something quite a bit more difficult to fix than you would assume and instead of just leaving it out they put it back in without any changes.

    source code dont have size of universe , they could rewrite it completely few times in that time

    bugs like 1k in delta or cleric magic buff look like something really easy to fix. there is no 'butterfly effect' if they write something wrong i.e. sky in pwi wont turn blood-red and collapse..

    bugs like that could be fix by some 17 yr old programming enthusiast kid




    no idea why devs dont fix **** like that - policy to dont give a .. or some issues with licenses?

    It has been almost a year for crying out loud since the expansion. The devs are either incompetent, or lazy, or extremely few devs work on it at all. Which one do you pick?

    Yes, I'm glad it's so easy to fix. Why don't you fix the code and submit it to them to show them how easy it is? PWI isn't just some simple codebase you'd learn in a beginner's class. It has both a server and client that needs to work together. If the code isn't optimized, or if the source isn't noted, you're most likely not just going to see it and go, oh simple... fixed! Altering one segment of code can indeed cascade into other problems. It's a bit disturbing that this actually has to be explained to you. I'm not even a programmer, though I have done a lot of scripting in the past to know this much. :P

    Actually I wanna thank pwe for these changes:

    Intro: Ive been playing this game for almost too years, i dont have alot of free time for it so it took time to lvl but i do work and i can afford CSing but never did.

    The light: Bm called TiTeo tanking WBs not dieing and no1 out DDing him (long time ago, guild had some really high dmg ppl)

    The plan : get to 100, than cs for 5aps with high refine nirvana or hh100 wep. Figured with this at hand farming the rest will be easy.

    The story: I got to 100, charged 200$ and waited for the right opertunity. I knew this wont be enough but it was only stage1 of the plan. I got lunar claws lunar cape and some refine. and was going to charge about 200 more to get nirvana pants and 2 la 99 pieces.

    The twist: All these updates really made me rethink about how much i want to "thank" pwe with money reward.

    For now: Saved 200$, I really hope that the top CSers are rich and its not a big deal for them to +12 with .. 500 $ (?) cuz if its not the case they do not deserve the PWE atitude. Also noticed lot of high CSed ppl left the game with the beginning of the changes, was sad to see them leave but i cant say that they where wrong.

    As for me, Ill farm the nirvana pants , mabe. And for the time ill just hang around , mabe. Whats for sure is im not playing another pwe game ever if the plan is to make new1 each 2 years and make you rebuild your account from scratch.

    Look at new MMOs who are gonna come out (different companies I mean) and their custom engines. How do they get stuff from scratch in 1/2 of the time it takes here? (much better stuff btw! this game has really dated feeling in moving/collision and such)

    I'm a programmer (not current profession though) but never done server or network design... though I'm unsure how the rebirth glitch has to do with it.

    Yes going through source code isn't easy but that's only if they have like 1 person doing the fixes lmao.

    there is exactly same buff but for p.def and working perfectly, so tracking down error should be easy.

    Calm down? I'm calm. Stop being an idiot. I'm not defending anything but common sense. If you knew anything about troubleshooting or debugging, you would understand that not all obvious problems are simple to fix. Now go away or I shall treat you like a stupid stepchild again. :P
