What do you do?

I always used release corpse, a little lost EXP saves alot of dignity, lying there going "rez plz" to every barb, veno, archer, psy, sin and wizard that passes >=[

When i has the Cash i have a few scrolls stocked up too.

What do you do?

    This will be dependant on your level.

    Higher level, you will call in a lvl 10 REZ for sure since EXP loss can be quite a lot of time to redo.

    Lower level is the worst. God, I hate to hear REZ PLS on my SIN when she was lvl 3x. I would quest for like 20 minutes and the person would sit there the whole time because they did not want to lose and exp.

    I would even explain the time loss is greater based on how long it would take to get it back.

    Quite a few not so bright players out there.

    I usually just release corpse. Unless one of my cleric friends are on and willing to give me a quick rez b:chuckle

    When there's no clerics around, I just relased corpse, any deaths could be amended if I just hypered exp room once xD.

    This reminds me of my noobie days on Harshlands playing a cleric, I used to use telestones so I could quickly res any person in my faction when they died. b:victory

    if there is no cleric in squad:

    on psy:
    1)restart my second pc,
    2)open pwi,
    3)login on my cleric,
    4)bring my cleric near my psy and myself to the kitchen to drink some water
    5)res+buff myself
    (steps 1-3 are omitted if i'm already playing my cleric :p)
    if the cleric is busy i wait him to finish bh/tt/whatever
    if i'm in OHT look around for 1min, check the faction, release

    on cleric:
    look around for 30sec, release. not much exp loss anyway


    if there is a cleric in squad:
    wait for a res unless i died in a place i cannot be ressed
    main: psy94

    Never. Never ever ever ever EVER EVER EVER will I ask for a res.

    Sure, if it's in an instance with another cleric around. Fine. You usually don't even have to ask for one.

    But when it's in the middle of nowhere in a crowd of mobs? No.

    If it's in your average grinding spot with a decent amount of people around? No.

    If it's in west arch with 20 100+ clerics standing right on top of my corpse? Just no.

    When not in a group, I always release corpse and doubt I will change that. I see it as learning experience (don't AFK in that spot or that mob/boss is too much to take on solo). The EXP loss really isn't that bad imo. Then again, I might just be used to it but I've always been able to make up any lost exp in less than an hour.

    I'll usually do what most people that like to hold onto their dignity do.

    If I die at a grinding spot (hasn't happened yet), I'll ask if any clerics in my faction are nearby. If not, I just release.

    If it's on a boss or something that I would give the cleric a hard time if he stopped healing to res me, I carry res scrolls for that.

    I always go back to town. Sometimes my hubby gets mad at me because I didn't wait for a rez D: i just dont care about the xp loss b:shutup because I don't think I'll ever get 102 xD

    I mourn the loss of my character before creating a new one, whose job it is to level up and overcome many obstacles until powerful enough to avenge the first character by taking down the exact mob that caused his demise.

    I always click release corpse personally. I even do it at times with a cleric in squad. I hate seeing that "you have died" screen too long. exp is easy to get back even at this level. Just do a BH. Don't even need hypers to level.

    if i play cleric and im in instance then use my res scrolls so others dun have to wait.

    If any cleric friends of mine are online, or any clerics in faction, and they're nearby, I'll ask for a rez. Other times I'll just go AFK because I don't really give a care. (Typically if I die I was either not paying attention in the first place, or I was messing around with my friends and did something overly stupid just because it can be incredibly fun to do.)

    Otherwise, I'll just return to town. That button isn't as hard to press as people seem to think it is. I guess the idea of "release corpse" just frightens some of us?

    On a side note, the EXP loss at higher levels is pretty large to just go to town, but if you were really that paranoid about your EXP, you would carry rez scrolls with you. Common sense can be so hard to come by in this game.

    It depends but usually I check FL to see if any of my cleric friends are on. If not, I logged off and play my alt until cleric friend is on to give me a rez. b:laugh

    I'll town as soon as i'm able, i try to look at it as extra SP and a valuable lesson. It's been quite some time since i died out in the open world questing or grinding however... When on a squad with a Cleric i do expect to get ressed as it is usually the most convenient thing for the party, i'll make an exception if the Cleric towns on an instance, as even if they don't need someone to guard them on the way back i'd like to think they appreciate the solidary gesture.

    I'll just go back to town. I hate it when people harass me for a rez, no please, no thank you. I don't like it so I won't do it to other people.

    LOL, that's some kinda vengeance strategy right there b:chuckle

    I'm so used to being solo or with other venos, I instinctively hit release, sometimes even when clerics are in my squad, rofl. Or sit there and watch everyone die if it's inevitable. Always fun. Often you can advise people how to stay alive next time like this.

    When I die, my screen fades to black and white. Recently found out this was due to my graphics settings. Cool effect though.

    If im solo and die..its my fault so ill jsut go back to town cause at lvl 100 whocares about exp anymore..well i dont.If im in a party tt,fb.etc...i die..cleric go lose some exp and come back ty..well lucky cleric is my wife blahahahahaha but i can get her lost exp back.


    need to make a poll on "how long have you waited for a res?"

    Even though I just started out not too long ago, I usually just release corpse; I never see any clerics in the starter town for Untamed anyways. xP

    well it goes like this, my brother has my computer programmed so that when I die a screensaver pops up and says : YOU HAVE FAILED! and won't go off until after 45 minutes.. so I just go watch TV til res comes b:shocked

    0-100 = town unless some1 in area. well 101+ uhm i kinda rather wait for a rez. dont like losing 1m exp jsut like that D:

    how do you die outside squads in pve anyways at high lvls?

    last time i died alone was 2 (ranged sacrifical and mag resist) map4 mobs ganking me D:
    .. 1 is ok hitting me for half my hp, unbuffed, but 2 kill QQ
    [go to town] to lazy to go on the cleric and wait forever to get it on desert -.- the exp is back after cube next day >_>



    [go to town] is my favorite button when im in pk mode :P
