Exactly why can't we multi on the same computer? I see in BOI you can run up to three accounts on the same computer but in perfect world it's against the rules, but why? If you can multi in other perfect world games, why can't we here? Really I just want to catshop on one account while training on another. There are people who play on 5 different computers and that's fine.

    How can pw-cn, the game with the bot and gold problems be allowed to multi but pwi the version lacking the former be subjected to a ban of multi client?

    I know what the rules are, I am questioning it.

    Boi has limited multi clienting, you can and can't do certain things, can they not do the same thing for pwi? Like being allowed to stall but not allowed to afk lvl.

    I understand the because they can; however, a because they can doesn't = a reason. There is a reason why they do what they do and I'm asking for the reason. All in all it seems illogical and their fears of allowing multi on one computer seem unfounded. AT least in pwi.

    Click support > Games on the left > PWI > Page 5 #45. Why is it still in support?

    yes, multi-boxing is allowed. This is having more than one account online by having more than one computer. However, please note that users need to be actively present with only a main account when playing the game. Any additional online accounts should only be used for inactive duties, such as item vending with a Catshop.

    Was it shot down because it's limiting the use of the second character? Pwi doesn't have the issues pw-cn does but it seems we have rules that seem to fit more with china.

That be why it was shut down because the person answering that ticket apparently confoosed PWI's policy with JD's policy or something.

    I would just like to see multiclient allowed, but second account is limited to a lvl 1 cat hop. This game needs extensive cat shopping to be well off. I can't quite afford a herc if I can't spend weeks cat shopping. I would prefer to lvl and make money like all the others with multiple computers. Most pw games allow it. I don't see the problem in questioning why we can't have it too. Gms and devs can say whatever they want but without players they wouldn't have a game. So I don't understand comments that say something to the tune of "don't question the devs and gms".

    Just go ahead and do it, game sux now anyways, have some "fun" while you can. Not likely you'll get caught anyway. While your at it, get down with some creative customisation of characters too, this provides many hours of fun for all involved. Anyone seen Hidimondui on Heavens Tear server?

    I've taken a butchers through a few previous multi clienting threads and generally they don't elaborate on the reasons for it.

    The thread that I mentioned previously, though no GM states reasons for the ban of multi clienting, the players discuss it in depth.

    The red part when translated says "Perfect World International Edition". Exactly what is that referring to? Does pw-cn call itself international edition? If not then what are they referring to? Simple mistake, or a translation error?

    Best way to explain it would be that the majority of people doing this are either gold farmers, cheaters (bypassing the normal ebb and flow of the game client to make an advantage for themselves), or botters.

    That isn't even a huge deal/problem in pwi. So it's really a bad excuse for the rule lol. I wouldn't be surprised if the reason we can't multi client or have a cat shop running is as simple as pwi not updating rules in tandem with other pw games and versions.

    I failed to see any rule for multi clienting in the rules. What I did see was that modifying anything in any way was against the rules. The reason multi clienting is banable is likely because they assume you have to modify something, which is completely false.

    I still want to address that the statement saying you can multi client up to 6 accounts on china has the phrase "perfect world international edition" in the beginning.

    The kanji before the semicolon translated as "perfect world international edition".

    Did you get the DATE on that quote...

    That was true before the RT patch, after that you didnt have to do anything to multi client

    So if modification isn't needed anymore and the rule of multi clienting is tied to modification, where is the rule breaking?

    And...? A simple bypass of the launcher and tada it opens, and bypassing the launcher isnt exactly a modification seeing as the screenshot folder is also inside of element so youd have to be able to get there anyway...

    Yea, seems bizarre that they would have it so you couldn't do it, then change it so that you can, but still have it against TOS. Must have been one of the mods they allowed for China, and in changing that, opened it up for everyone else, kinda like DQ price drop in reverse.
