    Back on topic. I'm a little surprised no ones posted (gm or mod) yet. The issue isn't even the ban on multi clienting. It's the multitude of issues that's the issue lol.

    Cause the blessing ruined pvp. +30attack levels basicly means getting 1shot over and over again by high dd. But well go ahead killing mobs in 3 attacks.

    For all of our games, multi-client use is generally not allowed. However, for each game in specific, there may have been some exceptions to this rule. Such as in HoTK, you are allowed to have a second client used solely for a low level vending character. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this rule for PWI at this time. You'll need to limit yourself to one account per computer. Also, please remember that you are only allowed to have one active account at a time, even if you do have multiple computers.

    Yes, you can easily get away with multiclienting, and I mean very easily get away with it

    Yes, you can get banned for it, no they dont have an easy way to check for it, no I mean honestly they dont, pwprotector.exe is insanely weak and anyone that really wanted to can just nuke it in taskmgr, so in all reality you can multi without ever being detected unless you do something stupid and say thats what you are doing in game since the server logs every single thing you do, yes, everything, every last word you say as well

    And yes, it would be nice if the people that worked at PWE had the balls to stand up for THEIR company they are working for instead of blindly taking everything PW-CN sends them it would be an amazing thing, but the chances of that happening are slim to none...

    Also, just because I know how to do something doesnt mean I have, knowledge doesnt prove intent, otherwise everyone would be in jail, everyone knows how to steal, not everyone does it, case and point

    I've always found it amusing that the version that has the things "that everyone wants" (multi-clienting allowed and selling in-game items for real-life money) is the most botted/**** version that we know of....

    Coincidence? I don't know....

    But I do know if I could officially sell items in-game for real-life money I'd used every means possible....

    how do I report multiclient? since Archosaur server is full of ppl doin it, some players have a tank,DD and cleric and 3 Cat shops at the same time and they are proud of talking about it, while some of us work our asses out grinding or whatever to make coins the honest way.

    It may have nothing to do with programming at all, it's licensed as a franchise. How many franchises do you know that can change things however they want? They can't, they must conform to the standards stipulated in the contract. I just don't see the CN side allowing a franchisee to go into their code and change it how they please. Especially if they ended up changing something, that might interfere later on with a later patch. Chances are, they gave an app that has only a few varaibles that can be changed around that will not affect coding. That's for in general why many things can't be changed around, saw a useful point to make even if as an aside.

    As for why PWI doesn't allow multi-clienting specifically, likely as has been said, it's a catch all way to try to prevent server over-crowding. Won't stop everyone, but it sets a limit to prevent the action through the threat of punishment.

    b:chuckle I know a lot of end game people who multi to do their alts BH, cult, ect. It's really not a big deal imo it's not hurting anyone if you run 2 clients on 1 computer. b:cute

    Exactly what Telerath said. PWI is unable by law to change the game w/o prior authorization from It's parent company. Violation of those terms prob result in forfeiture of $ and a fine.

    It's pretty simple, the most imporatant thing is money, after all it's a business they are running. Integrity of the game is always 2nd after cash, when the gm tell you its not they lie, easy game =). So long as PWI continues to generate income they can continue to operate. All they gotta do is give a piece to thier parent company provided they don't make any changes 2 game code. This PERPETUAL agreement is what keeps the flow goin and it will not change ever. Understand that fact every time you log in to PWL and know you have chosen to accept thats how its gonna be. Thats all =)

    No no no just no, they are a wholly owned subsidiary, not a licensee, meaning there is no contract between PW-Beijing and PWE AT ALL they are just owned by them

    It's the same friggen company, guys. They create a subsidiary (common with F2P's from other countries) to deal with different laws surrounding copyrights, limitations, and other law related **** (like employment) that is different from the country they originated from. Simple as that.

    its 1 company, the fact that there are separate corporate subsidiaries is a legal fiction to protect the assets being held by one subsidiary from claims against another subsidiary. PW china own it all

    BTW for purposes of trading in the united states, their place of incorporation is the Cayman Islands, for whatever thats worth.

    I personally wouldn't believe in doing that -- duh, public info. However, what I did was constantly overshadowed by developers in Seoul. Little choice, beyond finding another job.
