Jungle Ruins =/= waste of time

me thinks if u get all the 5 crests once u finish the run u canget one of those mats to craft taht belt o.o but not sure.
also inside theres another npc than u can trade jungle ruin belt + items (i guess from crests as well) for upgrading from g14 to g15 n etc o.o[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
I find it absolutely annoying that everyone is transported into the same instance... find it laggy I should have the option to turn other peoples avatars off completely... I don't want them to appear even in range... that being said the instance should be a solo thing... or at least make it big enough to have multiple spawn points and duplicate areas like uh City of Abominations and uh the original Forest Ruins.... duh0

Got passed my old stuck point 3 times and the one time I managed to get past fully I died to a dual exploding hand trap... lol. Still having fun doing it and writing my guide though.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

i think a very very small portion of lucky **** ppl managed to complete it, now its nice to have an event thats not based on gear and lvls...but why make it nearly impossible, before it was revampt, it was actualy possible to do just with *skill* cos it wasnt packed to death full of ** no's what thats in this jungle ruins, its once a week, what we have to look forward to is xxx deaths and no reward unless ur extreamly lucky, cheers PWI, ill try next week, most likely fail again.
But you're on RT so same server, and I know for a fact there were very few people starting from 25% to end onwards. So I guess you didn't make it far :P Was much more awesome after the first few rooms when almost nobody was there and I had to watch patrols carefully.
And no it is not impossible, there IS a way to get past patrols, I'll give you a pro tip: minimap does wonders, if you figure out which are the moving mobs you need to avoid (boulder walkers usually)First 103 on Raging Tide 30 Oct 2010

The first 2 fire rooms were a bit harder than necessary with so many people running around recklessly and causing the mobs to constantly veer off their set course. But it was sorta funny too, and I eventually started trying to use the others as meat shields. b:avoid
And yeah, charm burn was mildly annoying. After a bit though I just took off all my gear since everything is either a one shot or your-max-hp% dmg based (everything I saw anyway). That saved a good 60-70% or so each death.
All in all, was kinda fun for a while. Something different at least. Will try again next week for sure if I'm on.0 -
Probably pretty easy with expel and people who have access to TW land-only apoth. 15+ seconds is probably more than enough time to run through 3 rooms with a good speed buff. Park in a safe area and wait for cooldowns, then do it all over again.0

Here's my pics. I finished this first on harshlands server, and in about 30 mins since the pic 2nd is the time at 1:33:06 it only took 2 mins to get past that part. I did find a amount of crest npcs, but focused more on the ending rather than than finishing them. Time ran out before I could fully turn in by redoing the place once again for the other quests since I went afk after running all the way. Next week i'll run to the end and grab as many quests as I can and visit npcs than finish at the end to see the full rewards of the run. Jungle ruins is very fun. It requires skill and level and cultivation only help minimal in the area. The event seems fair for all players. I only recommend holy path and tree of protection on the genie for some areas. All I used in this run was 35 hp pots, and 30 mp pots along with genie which was around 15k-20k stamina used on pure holypath and top. All complete in forg form as well which really isn't a big help but it does increase speed a tad bit. Once I finish this zone next week i'll come post a complete guide hopefully on the inners, and outers of the entire quests available throughtout the zone. I already have quite a few pics of mobs located deeper in, and quest item locations. Though I need a lil more info before making a guide of any sort. Train hard for next weeks jungle ruins, and have fun! ^^ I gotta go level myself up and get demon for my veno. Also tw pots of any sort won't be helpful at all since they can be used but the traps more in need a higher level of skill than just immunity to damage. You can only get so far with apoth. I imagine the farthest apoth pots can help is 1 room past the toxic room beyond that they won't do much more than a holypath or second wind heal. The cooldown on the apoth pots won't last either since some mobs don't lose agro and once immunity or speed is up your dead. It really is fair based for all levels so no one has a advantage except the super lucky or the highly skilled.0 -

^This is a very valid point.
Most of the time I spend playing, I don't have the access to a newer/faster computer. (Cry me a river, yea...). Because of this, I cannot participate fully in such events. Nein Beast was just horrible. This one sounds like fun, and I'd consider doing it, but if it is THAT laggy... there is no chance for precision, which leads to death and loss...
It would be nice if it was on the same rules as fb dungeons are (squads or individuals)....[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Once you get through the first zone its all skill not much luck... TBH the first 3 rooms are the hardest in the whole instance.~~Blood Red since 30~~0 -
This next time will be under 30 mins. Btw the reason it's not squad is because it's a event and because if it was squad than it would be too easy. If I did it alone at level 78 with 35 hp and 30 mp pots using no apoth just genie and pots than how much easier is it going to get in squads? much easier. The belt that's up for grabs will lose value and if you got a high comp just turn on the lowest required and keep effect volume up and details and run through. I have a good laptop not even a gaming graphics card. Lag was not a problem when I ran the place from my laptop using the low settings to avoid lag. It rain smoothly. The problem is people rush this too much because recently in my opinion players shard hp and pop immunity pots to think they can just take a easy way of running past mobs and rushing the place without a single thought. I see people dying to smoke that sleeps you because they can't relax a bit. Either way theres more than 1 way to get a prize in the ruins so reaching the end isn't always necessary.0

Well 1st off dont be stupid enough to go in there with a charm lol....2nd that event is clearly fair to everyone in the game. you dont ahve to be CS'd to do the event like nien or the tiger one xD0 -

Isn't the belt/neck/mats untradeable and require level 6/7 craftsman? Doubt it really matters how easy the event is. It's just going to be the same person winning anyways.0

You're not supposed to tank the dmg, ur sposed to avoid getting hit in the first place. And jungle ruins is beautiful in the fact that a CSers gears and money is no help to them whatsoever. No matter how hax ur gear is, you still get one shot, so everyone has an equal chance.
The only things in ruins that will help you is speed and immunity buffs, gotten from pots/genies whatever, and they dont require the cash shop to get.Semi-retired due to continuing mind boggling displays of stupidity from PWI0 -
