Little surprises, afterall

Few changes this week; Regicide managed to conquer yet another land (not really a surprise here anymore though). Another video has been made of the Regicide TW, do watch.

Nefarious took back Legendary's land and Enelysion managed to conquer one. Grats to Nefarious on defending 2 out of 3 on their heavier triple attack, grats to Enelysion for their win. Nefarious decided to put their forces on Legendary and thus making it easy for Enelysion to win. TW video link below.

I think we can anticipate an attack from Nefarious on Enelysion this week. Will Regicide keep attacking Nefarious in their attempt to provoke a counter attack? Or will they keep pushing untill there are no Nefarious lands left?

Another interesting thing to see was the new TW faction Vindicate making a tremendous start with their attack on Amplified. From what we have seen and heard this must have been a great fight. Congratulations to Amplified however for sucesfully defending.

Upcoming weekend we will see if another triple attack on Nefarious will be set up, and how they will defend it this time.

Vindicate made the decision to place an attack on Nefarious, but got outbid by Regicide and didn't place another bid. What intentions are behind this move by Regicide, as they have many lands to pick from?

Enelysion managed to hold on to one out of two territories this weekend. The second was taken by Nefarious after a 40 minute defence.

Legendary gained a territory out of the "friday night special" attack by Enelysion, Legendary and Amplified. Insiders let us know that Nefarious decided to not show up at the Legendary TW. Amplified managed to hold Nefarious off for 65 minutes while Enelysion held them off for 120 minutes. Both did a great job on their attacks but unfortunately didn't manage to conquer a land.

Regicide is still gaining a territory weekly. Nefarious continuously decides to not show up on these defences against Regicide.

Nefarious lost 2 lands this week but managed to hold off the other 8 attacks. Good job Nefarious. Will Nefarious choose to attack Legendary, Enelysion, or maybe newcomer Vindicate this week? And will Vindicate get a chance on placing an attack this week?

Leveling the playing field...

TW times seem to be lengthening for some factions, as faction strengths appear to become closer and closer. Could the intense TW many of us have been anxiously awaiting be near? Nefarious held their own against Regicide in a 30+ minute attack last weekend. Enelysion and Amplified have also been averaging lengthy battles these last few weekends. Could TW be coming back to life here in Sanctuary?

Looking at this week, it appears Regicide will attempt to pop that little red bubble in between Thousand Streams and the Haunted Path. Are they trying to secure the Thousand Streams stronghold?

Outlaw returns to the TW scene with a mid-day triple attack against Nefarious. Will their attempts to reclaim their former stomping grounds on the map be successful?

Legendary attacks the City of the Lost in what should hopefully be an amusing skirmish.

Nefarious sets their sites on reclaiming the Silk Ridge, a crucial land in keeping other factions from launching attacks on their territory of City of the Lost.

Vindicate, Enelysion, and Liquid partner up for a Sunday night fiasco against Nefarious. What will be the outcome of this little number? :O

I think you misrepresent the proportion , as reg owns the highest amount of city
If lvl 3 city =1 , lvl 2 city =2 and lvl 1 city = 3

Nefarious sets their sites on reclaiming the Silk Ridge, a crucial land in keeping Legendary (not other factions) from launching attacks on their territory of City of the Lost.

Nope, it will not, Regicide will become more and more powerful, it will be Regicide be the indisputable No.1 who can pwn all factions (except Nef) within 5 mins . As Reg will claim one land from Nef every week, Reg will get more income from TW than anyone in this sever in 6 weeks.

Question is , will the sever allow Reg to continue to conquer lands and take the whole map or start to turn their attention to triple Reg? Looks like other faction will still be manipulated by Reg , to continue to attack Nef and Nef attack them back. In the end , all those friends of Reg owns no more than 2 lands and Reg on the path to total domination. What a good friend of Reg indeed

That time of week again, battlefront report time >o< This is Sanctuary in the Spotlight!

But before we look at this week, a recap of last week...

Once again, Nefarious was able to defend their territory, City of the Lost, from Legendary.

Vindicate faced with their first double tw defense, surrendered the fight to Nefarious to focus on the forces of Enelysion. After a three hour defense beginning at 14:03 server time, Vindicate managed to successfully defend their land.

Regicide captured Immolation Camp, clamping down on the available lands for those factions on the Western side of the map.

Nefarious got a relaxing Sunday evening for once, not faced with a defense of more prominent factions. Now for this week ;o

A slight increase of TW defenses for factions other than defenses. Legendary and Vindicate both have double defenses this weekend.

Should the fact that KnightRlm has Nefarious alts in it pose a concern to Legendary?

Will Enelysion and Scapulary dissect Vindicates lands? Or will Vindicate manage to defend both territories this weekend without the intense pressure associated with a Nefarious defense?

Regicide appears to be securing the perimeters of the major cities they hold.

Nefarious shifts attention this weekend to attacking Legendary. Taking pressure off City of the Lost?

Despite the addition of color to the map, and the "exciting" new changes PWI has made to the TW system, TW still feels a tad bit boring. What is it missing? ;o

I'm not sure whether to call this the "highlights" of this past weekend's TW's or what. Guess I will just try to wing it. I presume by now most people don't see me as much of an objective "reporter" when writing these things xD

Aftermath
-8/27: Regicide's attack on Mount Lantern (Nefarious) was a success. Nefarious successfully defends against Outlaw and Liquid. Vindicate's attack on Dribbling Spring (Enelysion) was a success.

-8/28: Legendary's attack on the Silk Ridge (Nefarious) was a success. Nefarious successfully defends against DamphyrS, Amplified, and RE\/ENGE. Vindicate successfully defends againstCharisma. Regicide successfully defends against Oldies.

-8/29: Nefarious' attack on Wellspring Village (Legendary) was a success. Nefarious successfully defends against Pinnacle, Morior, and Wiedzmini.

It should be noted that both Vindicate's and Nefarious' attacks took over 2 hours (2.5 even?). All other TW's to my knowledge (was absent Saturday evening) took less than 30 minutes. With the exception of the two outliers, TW seems to have stagnated. How do factions and there members justify the charm burn accumulated? For the fun? Pride? I wonder

Hope all TW factions enjoyed themselves this weekend. Uhh. Nothing else to write regarding this I guess x.x Back to my "studies" >_>

This will be interesting too. They won't no-show any faction and RE\/ENGE did get Nef crystal to 1/2 HP when Nef no-showed Regi (?) at the same time. All that happened in 6 mins.

Saturday 9/4
Nefarious successfully defends DamphyrS, Legendary and Angeles. Amplified's attack on Nefarious' territory of Fragrant Hills is a success. Regicide successfully defends Liquid and Charisma. Vindicate's attack on Enelysion's territory of Vibrant Cliffs is a success.

Sunday 9/5
Regicide's attack on Vindicate's territory, Buried Bones, is a success. Nefarious' attack on Vindicate's territory, Dribbling Spring, is a success.

Territory war times seem to have resumed regular, if not greater lengths, compared to weeks prior to the Territory War changes. Amplified's attack on Nefarious was over 30 minutes long (I believe). Legendary's attack on Nefarious lasted over an hour. I didn't see how long Angeles' attack lasted. Vindicate's attack lasted almost 3 hours. Nefarious' attack lasted about 1.5 hours. All other TW's were quickies

It seems that after beating Enelysion in shorter amounts of time for the last two weeks, Vindicate hit a slight road block. While still successful, it is interesting to note the rather large time difference between this weeks and last weeks attacks.

So it seems people are still just as motivated to fight if not more so. Which is good. This game is already too boring without a lousy TW scene. Keep it up. Congrats to all winning factions. I hope all factions who participated this weekend had fun. See ya this weekend!

Nefarious successfully defends against RE\/ENGE and Awakening. Regicide's attack on Nefarious' territory, Deserted Sea, is a success.

Legendary successfully defends against Nefarious and GoldenSon. Nefarious successfully defends against Amplified. Legendary's attack on Nefarious' territory, the Silk Ridge, is a success. Vindicate's attack on Nefarious' territory, Dribbling Spring, is a success.

Sunday 9.19.2010
Nefarious successfully defends against Pinnacle, DamphyrS, Oldies, and Validus.

A few changes this week. Legendary manages to defend successfully against a Nefarious attack after a well-fought three hour battle. Later that evening Nefarious loses two lands, as opposed to the usual one land lost, in the triple attack from Amplified, Vindicate, and Legendary.
