Phys. Def or Hp shard? Sage skill questions

    High hp means NOTHING if you dont have the proper pdef shars for melee hits (i dont mention mag res cause its in our nature to have it).Even with 8K hp ,you cant take easy over 3K melee hit.
    HP DONT REDUCE DAMAGE.GET IT.

    Ty for pointing out exact what we mean

    High HP means nothing without Pdef

    You are not a cleric that has stackable heals to get the "extra" hp

    u do know wiz has a funny skill called "stone barier", dont u?
    i dont have a single phys shard atm and fully buffed i got almost 11k phys def (selfbuffed 6800)... tho ornaments are only +5 and missing 1 lunar ring... with ornaments +10 and 1 more lunar ring+buffs will have like 14-15k phys def? dont think any wiz needs moreb:bye

    Wrong.You can have high pdef with low-medium hp & still you can survive.
    But ,to have high hp & "bleeding" like hell,cause you miss pdef,its totaly rediculus.

    Selfbuffed you mean only with stone barrier & 11k with full cleric buffs or 6.8k as natural & 11k with stone barrier?

    Without stone barrier(demon i assume....its 150%) you have 2.7k-2.9k pdef....

    Nope. Endgame mag damage hurts, even if you wear arcane gear! Not to mention crits.

    True. Ridiculous. BUT if your pdef reaches a certain amount, raising hp will give you more survivability against phys attacks than adding more pdef.

    Again (It seems like you missed the point of my previous post.):

    The amount of damage you can take:

    HP/[(100-reduction)/100] = HP*100/(100-reduction)

    If your HP is crappy, the result will be crappy too.

    miss pdef? how much u miss with +pdef eq's? not really much.

    example veno bleed hurt but veno pet bleed+veno magic dmg both hurt too and exclude psy bleed(where they attack again with magic if u dont do suicide attacks) all other bleed is ~**** (bm/barb/archer etc) :P

    let me notice if somebody dont got cleric buff then u can deal easily 9k-14k crit on robe with simple udine+frenzy+e.poison+bids, its really 1 hit and if u got hp under 4k then u can get 1hit from a simple gs.

    cleric buff help a bit but still if a crit happen then a gush could be 3-4k+ on u with a nub tt99+4weapon.

    most funny really when archers(who is lower or got lower refine than 7-10) autoattack and after that they use metal skills, and i dont talked about a cleric 1hit u (too).

    about ornaments, the refine pdef ornaments is great help. (ok i could use mixed hp/pdef stone if my eq dont give pdef and i dont got money for ornaments refine, but full pdef stones i dont think the best way when u think about end game gear)

    Actually Sage Earth Barrier gives +120% of pdef so she would have ~3.1k unbuffed and please go learn how pdef and damage reduction works...

    I think you have assumed 0 strength and 0 vitality.

    But since most of the buffs could have been sage or demon I will not attempt to figure out base attributes and defenses.

    y maybe u takes -5% dmg than with hp stones and have less 7-8% max hp with full buffs.

    (+100 mag point still not really compansate the better weaponb:surrender)

    I did assume that because I couldnt go into how theyre calculated. Truth is its still gonna be close to what I said because wizzies shouldnt have lots of vit or str...

    y but if u can affoird the g12 stones and thats eq then u can do this too...... (i used 3 military eq cause if u get already then both nearly free)

    900 dmg in character window with lv97 pataka instead military compared what was in ur and that around 230 dmg in pvp

    woot great XD 33 att lv and 19% crit and 18max mattack is really nice but a dream for me i think XD

    Nice stats.I guess that 33 atk lv is from blessing box (30 actually is the blessing box).
    Very good pdef as i like to have & i guess you have +12 weapon.(with +12 the Midnight pataka & +12 shards i have almost the same result)
    But plz ,as i did,give your stats at calculator.........
    (Umm .... what weapon have 1.33 attack rate?? cant find it in pwdatabase.......)

    midnight black is not a good weapon.
