Which Failed Catagorized Class is More Failed in FB/BH/FC etc?

    Um....


    Fail Cleric = Squad wipe (if only cleric)
    Fail DD = Nobody really cares
    Fail Barb = omg....we might be in trouble, but we can handle it. (If squad is good, if not....hello massive wipe <.<)

    any one of them can cause squad wipes, easily DDs too, if all they think about is wacking the mobs.

    I voted cleric as most fail, because a good bm/sin/veno can compensate for the lack of barb tanking. Cleric can compensate for a moron dd. No one can pick up a cleric's slack b:sad

    well.....

    with fail DD's, most people just go "ok...back off, let them die." (from what i've seen)
    But, yeah they can cause a squad wipe...especially if the cleric is trying to heal them and they die x.x


    fail barb....can be replaced by a good veno, or DD who knows how to control arggo.

    Fail cleric.....only option is to kick and get a replacement, or tell squad to rely on themselves for healing.

    As for fail DDs, I believe these would be limited to the ones who go all out even if they cant tank the boss or have no chance of surviving.

    There are times when its better for DDs to go all out and tank instead of having a barb/herc do it.

    For example,
    BH89 run with 1 cleric, 2 sins, 1 BM, 2 archers (who shifted to fists/claws after STA), all DDs being demon (funny to see 4 demon sparks right after HF) with decent interval gear and everyone in the low 9x range.

    The entire run lasted like 10 mins with bosses dying in like 30 seconds. All the cleric had to do was BB and watch. I wouldnt call this a failure at all. However if the cleric didnt bother with BB, I would be calling that a fail considering the sheer amount of aggro stealers here (whoever sparked next had aggro :P).

    Also if there was a barb instead of a DD, insisting that the barb tank and the cleric IH having 3 DDs hold back is simply inefficient and time consuming. If herc is being insisted on tanking...even bigger failure.

    Of course the above applies only when the DDers are able to tank the thing under the achievable conditions. So its kinda better if you let the DDers do the tanking when they can since in that case, they wouldnt need to hold back.

    True failure is when you do the exact same thing without letting the cleric know of your intentions.

    Well umm if he didnt use any of his aggro skills and you did, its obvious youre gonna steal. Also if his aggro skills, equips and hp arent as good as yours, you could simply step up to tank and avoid a failing run.

    well wep wise and skill wise i was better then him but squad wanted him to tank because his hp and armor were slightly better then mine but err not that special considering i was like lvl 60 and he was lvl 66
    i tanked the rest of the bosses though since i said i would refuse to hold back because that guy couldnt keep agro decently

    I find that it depends on the instance for which class is more fail.

    In TT, clerics. I may have not run as many TT's as higher levels, but on the runs I have done the cleric has either:
    A) Stopped healing the tank and started DD'ing
    B) Didn't BB during AoE in 1-2
    C) Didn't bring enough pots/event food to hold BB
    or
    D) Spent the whole time QQing about how they should get more mats than everyone else because their risking their EXP to do TT and just being a pain.

    In BH, barbs. Not all the barbs I have run BH's with are fail, most are quite amazing. But the fail ones either:
    A) Run so far ahead that the cleric can't catch up, and QQ when the cleric can't heal them from across the dungeon
    B) If there is more than 1 barb in a squad, 1 barb will aggro too many mobs and run away from the other barbs and to the cleric
    or
    C) If the cleric does die, and we haven't started killing the boss yet, they will expect me to heal them while they start attacking the boss. And then QQ when I can't heal fast enough/won't heal at all

    I chose cleric, which is the most important in FBs from what I can tell, unless higher lvled ofc. Which can lead to squad wipes. Without a decent tank and cleric won't get you anywhere but death.

    If a DD/barb fails won't really matter, its just about the person taking the damage and surviving well, though they might take up space, but they won't generally cause a squad wipe....


    Also in BH, it doesn't matter, too easy to do. Free spirit. Lower leveled instances is easy

    I'd say fail dd and cleric. Mostly dd though since pulling aggro on some bosses causes them to switch from single target phys to aoe mag that can easily kill any heavy armor class there. Especially if the cleric changes targets.

    It really annoys me when the party is using an informal tank (anything but a barb) and i see archers attacking from the start, psychics still in black voodoo and attacking from the start, any DD using burst. An archer recently told me it was boring to control their damage... i should have picked a pvp server....

    Just came over from the malaysian servers. Left a 99 archer, 95 cleric, and some others... it's not hard to control yourself and not aggro if you don't want to. If that means hit with sharptooth and go use a fist for the first 30% go for it anything is better than the boss impaling you and anyone around you.

    It comes down to the individual players who fail not the classes themselves. I've seen people play their classes really well regardless of the class and others who really suck at it. Barbs may have aggro skills but if you're a class that does 10x more damage than the barb you're gonna pull aggro as a DD. If you are a cleric and you heal too soon you'll pull aggro. If you're a barb then you need to rotate aggro skills correctly. With it being so easy to level now people don't learn their class right compared to when the game first started.

    I have a level 101 barb, level 99 wizard, and level 85 BM.

    In other news, WHATS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?! There is only so much fail one can make before being the most fail and not knowing what a healing skill is....well....as a cleric....wow....so i stand by my previous post, Clerics For the Win! (or in this case fail)
