100 100% Solo

Just curious if anyone has gotten to lvl 100 with no help whatsoever...completely solo. Is this even possible? I do understand that for someone to do this there is a lot that they would have to skip in the game...or wait until many lvls higher to complete. So maybe it wouldn't be worth it to bother with. I guess what I mean is to lvl using basic quests and grinding, would a fairly functional lvl 100 be possible? Has anyone actually done it?

you could do it with a herc veno easily.

Its more than possible to imagine a lvl 100 getting there solo but the time it would take to get there even with Hyper Stones or the use of real cash to buy gears.
Anythings possible but at the same time what criteria are you imagining this to be done at? With no use of Hyper stones and no cash item use or oracles. Just straight mob grinding without using BH quests?tatuaje: grinding mobs and zhenning ???

I suppose some aid of hyper and oracle, certainly. I guess the only criteria I was really serious on was the 100% solo....by whatever means....
Well...except pure cashshop (gags). I mean I always figured one could buy their way to the top, lol. But I wouldn't have much respect for that. To do it kinda sensible mid-range...bit of cs...bit of hyper oracle help...fair bit of grinding...and dailys, of course. Like that b:pleased0 -
It's possible to get to 100, but it's not possible to finish your culti alone.
Even the 69 culti can be solo'd if you get high enough level, it's basically the HH and GV cultis that you need parties for. FB99 cultis can mostly be solo'd by a veno with herc, provided they're high enough level and know how to play their class.
However, if you spend enough in the cash shop, a fist/claw BM/Barb or Veno might be able to do most of the past map culti leading up to 2nd map.I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.0 -

Completely possible. Level to 10 normally, use hypered shard crafting/scarlet fruits till 30, 30-35 Oracle I, 35+ Oracle II.100% F2P player. Started PW: March 2007, Quit PW: March 2011.

Thank you for your answer! Very interesting...and leads me to a new question....How important is it to finish Culti to the Sage/Demon lvl? I mostly play a Veno and notice there aren't a lot of skills to look forward to at that level. Are the rewards that great that it is hard to get by without them?0 -
If you were very very very rich, solo is possible and actually can be done in very fast time.
Buy scarlet fruit, buy oracle, buy hyperstone, buy everything that give you reputation, get legendary pet (if you were venomancer), get all end game gear, always +12 your new equipment, buy tome that match your endgame build, get mats to make nirvana, get pack endgame item, buy the fastest aerocraft, buy mount you like (don't forget to spur it), always equip platinum charm (replace quickly if run out), buy 100/100 genie, get apothecary pots to boost your solo ability, get badges to make sage weapon, and the last one if you can make warsoul weapon.
You can ignore spiritual quest these way.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Fair enough...but what if you are NOT stupid rich? (Or is that rich and stupid?? lol) What about about a more modest solo path...not cs-free, but cs frugal?

So its totally doable...fast if you are rich... painfully slow if you are poor...but 100% doable all the same!

Well your 'fairy magic' (lol, that's what PWE calls them, translated from Chinese) lvl 11 skills are very important end-game.
Especially as a veno, there are some really important skills to have... sage: purge, foxform, soul degeneration... demon: fox, sprint, ironwood, bramble, etc... and for both I imagine parasitic nova and others, dunno, not a veno. lvl 11 skills generally hit a LOT harder than their lvl 10 counterparts.
You should be able to do your 89 culti solo if you're a veno. Digging the crystal is going to be the most difficult part. But yes, it's doable.I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.0 -

Actually I was waiting for a post like this, lol. I actually am primarily a solo player, as in I am new to MMOs in general so I am still more used to having to do everything alone. That said, I have always enjoyed playing with others, but I am also almost as shy in-game as real-life. I hate asking for help and get more nervous playing in a squad...even when having fun :P I actually do still love playing solo/non-mmo games, but I think we'd all agree that the MMO format has a different feel, and is more open than most solo games...Also there is a certain thrill in being surrounded by real people who can see you (or your stunningly outfitted little avatar, at least) at any given time. Finally the living economy is a nice change from the more stagnant solo game.
So I do think there is a lot of appeal in MMOs, even to loners. b:shy
Anyway, for myself personally, I am not trying to intentionally go 100% solo. I squad when the opportunity arises, make friends likewise. The question was more a hypothetical, as well as a way to feel out how much I can do alone, should I need to...And so I don't feel in such a panic if I let some things slip, to complete at a later stage lol b:mischievous0 -
It is possible to get Lv: 100 without any help in this game. All cultivations are not possible solo. Does not matter what your gear is you cannot open Rebirth Delta by yourself. I know several people in the 9X range that said they have been 100% solo and I believe them. Problem is your missing out on a large amount of game content trying to do that. But if all you enjoy doing is flying and solo grinding well I guess that would be fine then. Also I am unsure what you mean by 100 100% solo. Because you asking for information right now is getting help from a team of people that use PWI forums. Asking anyone information on anything related to this game does lose some of the soloness. Same thing for example even Lv: 102 venos with blessing herc's cannot solo some bosses. And if you bought some Twilight temple materials or Twilight temple gear from someone is that still solo? They worked for the gear and you purchased it from them. You are still dependent on them doing the work.
But it seems your not a severe anti-social but just shy. So what you may just want to do is find a smaller faction you like right away to feel more comfortable playing with other people.

Oh - playing mostly solo is absolutely possible, and is in fact probably the norm in this game.
Venomancers and blademasters and clerics are especially good at it.0 -
I thought there are cultivation quests to unlock past maps that require opening TT instances in squad mode.0

Not only TT instances but also things like Rebirth Delta that need 6 people 85+ to open. To complete Rebirth Delta you do not need 6 people. Just highly recommended.

Wow, thanks for your answer. Very informative, however you seem to have missed the fact that I am not trying to do things "100% solo" personally. I was mainly wondering if anyone had and how. Also, I don't think buying gear made by others, or posting on a forum count...that a little too puritanical, lol. I simply meant in-game solo completion of leveling and quests...i.e. Not squading/asking for help to get things done to progress in level.

If you're playing for short-term then yeah you should play how you want, but part of playing online is teamwork between people and learning how other classes work also. Interaction with others could teach you more about your own class then you think and your role in a squad lol. That is of course if you want to fully play the game. b:cute

You can grind and quest all the way to lvl 100 by yourself and i know several players that done it.
You can do most the cultivation by yourself to if you have good gear, just have to wait 10-20 levels. Or if you have a herc, than you dont have to wait at all. Have to skip a lot of quests to, or wait til 99+ to do them.
Im sure most classes can solo fb69/79 culti at 90+ since you dont need Guarnob and Polearm. Just **** a Platinum Charm, go vit build and spam event pots. Do 89 culti at 99+ etc. Im sure i could solo my 69-89 culti now at 101, would just cost me a lot of time and money. Obviously need pretty amazing gear once its time to solo fb99, almost private server status on refines and obviously easier if you're a Barb or Bm. I would die pretty fast if i tried. Most bosses in fb99 cant be herc tanked either since they have loads of annoying aoe and curses.
Only thing you cant solo is third fairy since you need to open TT in party mode and do wave 4/5 + complete Rebirth twice. This cant be done alone, even if people help you open Rebirth. Im sure even a player with +12 warsoul wepon and +12 gear would fail already at wave 3 b:surrender.0 -

@OP --> It is all preference, but TigerLily pretty much summed it up. Ultimately there are just some things that you cannot "solo" in this game. However, you can grind and quest pretty much the entire way solo.

That depends on how you do it. I wouldn't feel very accomplished if i paid my way through it with Cashshopping. If you do it without cashshopping then yes its a great achievement. b:cute0 -
