100 100% Solo

Why bother playing 100% solo in a MULTIPLAYER game? Play a single player game if you don't like playing with other people. It's that simple...

Well, I'm solo, and I don't see why it wouldn't be possible. The real question is whether it would make sense --- I'm pretty sure I won't even make it to 89 --- I've been in the "mostly AFK" phase for quite a while now, just too lazy to go looking for a better game.
Not that 89 would be anything special, since I'm not going to be able to do whatever quests are required for the sage/demon thing.

In fact, I hardly get to kill any "bosses" --- by the time a boss-quest becomes available I can't do it, and when I might be able to do it the quest has already expired, so I don't really care whether I could be killing the guy.

It's quite weird from a story perspective anyway. When I finally killed Krixxix, the quest guy was totally happy and told me that the army was able to move in and defeat the wraiths, with Krixxix being out of the way. Wow. They've waited more than 20 levels... and then it happened in an instant, while I was walking from the spot of Krixxix' demise to Anglers village around the corner.
Next time around, I'd suggest the army takes care of the boss, and I handle all the non-bossy wraith :-)

Oh, not important at all.

The people who say spiritual cultivation is important are the same people who believe you need to update your weapon every ten levels. Everyone knows the game's default weapon is perfectly suited to get you through the game.

I play solo, I have never been in a faction and I did all my own FB's and BH's alone and never I have quested with anyone. I made all my gear and farmed all my hh80 gold and hh90 green gear for my self. I also have never cashshopped and I have a nix and herc.

At lvl 91 tho i got very bored and made a sin who is 80 now... He is also 100% solo whereby my veno ran all his FB's and BH's.

I do understand that for someone to do this there is a lot that they would have to skip in the game...or wait until many lvls higher to complete. So maybe it wouldn't be worth it to bother with. I guess what I mean is to lvl using basic quests and grinding, would a fairly functional lvl 100 be possible? Has anyone actually done it?

**Note I play mainly solo on what I can, but happily squad if opportunity arises....However I hate instance dungeons and bosses, and avoid them like the plague...until I need them for Culti, lol b:chuckle So anyway, thats what got me wondering.

yeah like everyone said just the culti u need help.

Solo to 100:
- You do not NEED rebirth delta
- You do not NEED BHs
- You do not NEED oracles
- You do not NEED exp fruits
- anyone who even MENTIONS this probably got pampered by it that a good handful of them have loads of quests left they havnt complete yet (the ones that give u bonus exp and essentially suppose to help you level)

Luxuries:
- Having charms CAN help you
- Exp SCROLLS (50%+ exp) once in a while CAN help you

Must haves:
- Normal gear IS ok and IS possible (seriously i had npc or unrefined gear back in the days grinding was considered normal)
- Pots and apoth meds are really really good (like hella good)


Im starting to find it pathetic how 'babied' the recent players are. They will probably shrivel up and die if BHs, rebirth, oracles and fruits disappeared.

The bosses you have in your sig are not soloable without a herc for a long time if ever. Luminoc is very evil and even a herc has problems with General Feng (or so I've heard). FB39 is doable with herc even at relatively low levels, but without it... I dunno. I never tried it.

@Deceptistar: this game was never meant to be a grind fest, yet it was one before BHs. I'm not sure when RB got in, but if it was from the start like I think, it was meant to be THE exp spot. Alpha is hard as hell and Beta is just bugged. If those were as easy as Gamma and Delta, there would be absolutely no need for grind/BHs. I wouldn't be here without BHs, since I think that instances are what makes this fun at all. However, I wouldn't mind working for stuff more than I have to do now, it's just that it would have to be instance-based.

well, it can actually be possible.

Learn initial skills, do FB19 when you're like 59-60 and so on.
Depends on the class ofc, a wizard could never do alone his culti bosses, the ones for 51 for example were hurting even in my low 90s

I can give an answer to that, its cos alot of people tend to be self centered arseholes and emos and all it is, is me me me and i would speculate the solo players are adult to say the least and are intolerant of inane mentalities,i have been in a sqd to help some one and when i ask if they could help, they drop sqd and send you this in your whisper barb:fatbb:fatbb:fatb =/i run a 100 bm on lost city i have been factionless for over 75 lvls i have **** loads on bosses ect, but i really dont give a toss about them and i solo all the way and im happy too,

When server started everyone was in NPC gear and if you were very lucky you had a 2* and very very very very lucky if you had a good 3* item.

Think before you speak. When server started it wasn't instantly filled with good gear as it is now.

So yes NPC gear is well enough gear to get through the game, you are the one that can't kill mobs without +10 weapons and a crapload of other 3* uber gear.

really? coz ive played LC from the beginning and other previous version too and i only went with 1 star weapons till 20. not my fault that you dont know what quests to do to get decent weapons or unable to craft.

That does not apply to all classes. Its mainly casters that can get decent quest reward weapons, like the the Glaive with 7-9, 7-9 vit/magic from Stormhorn quest. Only reward weapon for archers for example is that horrible 2 star bow with 110 mp at lvl 45 <.<

There was also no also Supply Stash when LC opened, it wasn't implemented until i was like lvl 90, so you couldn't get weapons that way.

For non-casters you often had to use pretty shietty weapons up to lvl 60, unless you where lucky and crafted something nice b:surrender. Which was pretty damn hard as well, not like it was cheap or easy finding 100 rough leathers or w/e so you could keep trying to make a decent bow.

I had to use 1 star weapons a lot before lvl 60 and i do know what quests gives what and i do know how to craft lol. Auction house wasn't really filled with molders and good 2/3 star items either back than.
