PW China will not change it and do not care about it a little bit. It's culturally-bound and contemporary China does not allow nor agree to LBGT stuff. And PWI is originally from China.

This is why I do not support adding same-sex marriages to the server. Because it would most likely be biased like this, catering to the obsession that this world(mostly the United States and Japan) has with lesbians.
And thanks for pointing out my error, rainbowvidel, I doublechecked my sources and found that I misinterpreted my information. I actually thought that all of the officials, including the devs, were separate for PW and PWI, when in actuality, the devs are not. But it doesn't matter anyway, as I and gohanx said, while nobody can honestly say that PW China will not add this, the fact does remain that, this is not a dating sim, and henceforth, the devs are more focused on adding things that actually belong in this kind of game. This being added is not in the forseeable, near future, but is a possibility in the future period. People need to stop whining about not adding it, and others need to stop spouting the "never" argument in an arrogant, matter-of-fact manner. This game has other stuff to do, in the end, I will say it again: THIS IS NOT A DATING SIM

Personally I'm not ****, but people that are should have the same rights as others. Get over it...this game may be originated in China, that does not mean it IS China. It is "International" meaning it is not only in China, its also in the rest of the world! People should get to chose their sexual preferences and even if China doesn't support that, that doesn't mean that the rest of the "International" part of pwi doesn't support **** marriage.

Yes, this is not going to happen in the NEAR FORSEEABLE FUTURE. And this is because the devs are focused on more important things, like updates, new content, and fixing bugs. The whiners need to realize this, and also, that THIS IS NOT A DATING SIM. But you and a few others could be a little more sensible in your arguments. Because no matter what anyone says, this being implemented is always a possibility at some point in the future. That point in the future may well be far away from now if ever, but it is still, no matter what anyone says, a possibility, because the future is unpredictable and ever-changing. Times can change, and new people will eventually be in charge. For instance, in about 50-60 years, the devs might all be **** women and transgendered men who are still straight and married to the **** women. And they might decide to implement this. Doubtful that such extreme circumstances will occur in China of all places even that far ahead, but honestly, who can say? It is also a possibility that China may, years down the line, decide that PWI should have it's own devs, and that could completely change the likelihood of this being added.
In all, my point is, whiners need to stop whining about something that isn't even important to this game, and you and others need to realize that this is a possibility, even if it is only a slight possibility and may not be until many years down the line. I personally don't care if this is added either way, as I think marriage in this game is a ripoff anyway, and as I said before, this is not a dating sim, and there is so much more to this game. To be honest, I actually am slightly against this being added, because I feel that it would simply cater to the modern obsession with lesbians(especially in the U.S. and Japan) and only allow females to get together, while not even giving them the equality they lack in the game, or letting guys do the same.
Besides, everyone should enjoy this game for what is already is, and not worry about the future anyway, right? I'd rather go on a killing spree, do some funky dances, and commit suicide by attacking a world boss with no equips. That is real funDon't be jealous of my boogie.0 -
Look, I don't think the developers care about Chinese Tradition for genders. I mean, look at this:
In China, males are superior to females. Period.
However, the Veno class, which is purely female, is agreeably the most badass class in the game.
In other words, **** females > males. Period.
They've already broken this barrier, so i don't see how Chinese gender tradition is a problem.0 -
