5% price rise on all NPC goods

If they talk about the DQ sale price, its only because we were doing a rackhus about it on the forums beforehand....

they want out money ? they should start acting professionally

they act like compelte immature amateurs ( be they devs or GMs..dont know and dont care) patch notes were always lame and empty, with many points non explained nor cited...

any professional entreprise would put down patch notes noting EVERY SINGLE POINT included in it, and assumes every change they do.

Because they're not trying to make money off a game that's likely to implode on itself from being milked for said money. My guess? Someone at PWE's making this game their get-rich-quick plan... -_-

In fairness, the Pure Water price has been 52 for a while now. I can't actually remember it being 50.

Noticed it when I went to the pet manager to get food, pure water has gone from 50 to 52, peanut oil from 300 to 320, sesame oil from 700 to 740.

I checked the apothecary, with pots its the same thing a 5% price rise across the board.

It's the same at all the gear sellers too, and the price difference gets noticable when you look at the more expensive gear.

I'm not sure about peanut and sesame oil, but pure water has been priced at 52 coins for a long while now. I remember this because when I got my panther mount a few months ago I bought 1000 of them and that's the price they were at.

To be fair, this guy is probably a good example of the average PWE exec (if not the guy who's behind all this period).

I mean, you talk about knowing how to play the game... just listen to this guy... -_-

EDIT: I do not support this guy. I actually posted the video in an effort to show how out of touch the execs are with the actual gameplay. Sorry if that was unclear.

Not true; those items have been at that price a while already. I'd say about three or four months at least.

I don't see anything fundamentally wrong with what he is saying there tho...besides the fact it is just basic information. The skill descriptions are right, the roles are right (unless you take into account hybrid builds, LA cleric for example)...am I missing something?

It's just the way he's saying it. My favorite part is the "here's a tip" sections. His advice to archers was to buy more powerful arrows (no). His advice to clerics was basically "HAY GUESSWAT U CAN ATTACK 2 LOL"

I'll edit my other post clarifying my position. I didn't think that could be viewed as my supporting this guy.

Did you bother to notice that video's 2 year's old? Not sure what you think is wrong in that vid, i just woke up don't feel like watching a "trailor" for PW....And i think Jonathan Bellis is Frankie if i remember right from a thread i read on the BoI or Forsaken World forums a few weeks ago....

Guys, honestly, I wasn't trying to incite a big discussion over the content of the video. XD I was just posting it as a throwaway reference to how the PWE execs would talk about the game as opposed to how the players do. :P

As for the 5%... it won't hurt me very much. Not nearly as much as the DQ price decrease. But it's still kinda BS.

Higher level DQ mats sell for what 3.5k a piece? when lower level sells for 2.5k (about it... so its a 1k difference), HOWEVER we get the same amount of coins at low level and high level, so, we get the same amount of coins that you do, do you want to pay 600k to go in cube? lol its expensive enough as it is.

It depends on who's the high level you're referring to, but the majority of high level do own millions of coins to keep them playing.

At the current gold prices, even those who own the whole TW maps can hardly earn 3m/week, and in some cases they can hardly pay for their charm costs. The payout is worse than a toilet cleaner, lol. Those who own lots of coins and manage to own uber gears are NEVER the result of TW payout but charging Zen and/or merchanting. Well if someone managed to rob their guild bank, it's a different story, lol
