The 3mil Lunar and 600K trophy run fees are targeted towards the poor to middle class high levels. The rich high levels buy their lunar gear and reputation.0 -
Btw, go check any merchant in any town; you see that the prices are the same. For example, shabbys are still 530 coins as always.100% F2P player. Started PW: March 2007, Quit PW: March 2011.

By increasing the amount of in game coin the npc's take in while decreasing the amount they give out through DQ drops, the devs are making a stab at causing deflation.
Yes its an attempt but it's hitting the wrong people.Kupuntu - Sanctuary wrote: »Btw, go check any merchant in any town; you see that the prices are the same. For example, shabbys are still 530 coins as always.
PW database prices shabbys at 500 coins, so they must have changed at some point. I never noticed that though...at my lvl CS reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyy isn't worth the money...
EDIT: My lvl being 9x, posted on the wrong toon -.-0 -

When I did my 3x CS last time (was in August I think) it was already 560 coins. I think it was changed when the genies came or something.100% F2P player. Started PW: March 2007, Quit PW: March 2011.

Shabby shards have been 530 coins since before I started playing, over a year ago. So nothing has changed recently, as far as I can tell.0 -
PW database has had inaccurate information since i started playing..its an unreliable source to use as a reference.Retired

They reduced the decomp rates, apparently due to "hackers".
They cut DQ sale prices by 20% and gave "hackers" as an explanation.
Didn't even know that decomposing stuff could fail :-) But did they really give that explanation?
If they are seriously saying that, it must be the next stage of stupidity. I've played a game before where they wanted to fight bots. So they kept adding more and more "protection" from bots, causing no trouble at all for the bots (after all, they adapt the program and that's it) while the game itself got more and more difficult to play for real players, as they kept getting kicked for botting...
Same thing here. If "hackers" sell too many DQ items or successfully decompose too many items, and they just change the game, then hackers will still be more successful than normal players, as rates are reduced for everyone. Except that hackers won't really notice --- the casual players will.Maybe "hacker" = non-cashshopper nowadays.
That sounds more likely.Slow progress, game is getting way too grindy :-( Quests I still hope to be able to do some day: FB39, General Feng0 -

Yeah apparently tweakz likes to just bend over and take it.. b/c he/she is always pro whatever PWI is doing it seems. I'm with you, call it crying, whining, complaining, moaning, griping whatever you want... I spend money here too and I made an investment. I have the RIGHT to say how I feel on this forum regardless of weather or not they listen.Solandri - Heavens Tear wrote: »Yeah, they should target the rich high levels. I'll assume you are chuckling because you know they are already doing this.Alliptica - Raging Tide wrote: »wow this **** reminds me of real life lol we in the store and mom's like OMG the orange juice used to be 3.50 now its 3.75! its annoying lol but prices are always going up eveywhere, and things get smaller...we cant escape it b:shocked
Yes, but ... minimum wage was (as far back as I remember working)3.25. It now is I believe over 7.00 an hour everywhere. Therefore, orange juice may have had a price increase but so did our salaries. So... in the words of my 6 year old son when he cut my daughters hair... "I've done my job, now where is my pay check?"0 -
