It makes me cringe when i see someone thinking they can wtfpwnbbqsause on everyone cause they think they 100 and they only have TT90 +2 gear with 2 socket average citrine shard (yeah average!) >.< . I know what your saying cause I've seen it b:chuckle. I'm not saying everyone should have super ownage gear but seriously why do they think they can win easily with that kinda gear facing people with combinations of HH90, HH99, 8jun or Nirvana +6 gear with +10 weapons or higher.

Yeah, I don't really care if someone has +10 event gear, but I would like to see a player properly equipped with the right gear... meaning, no barbs or bms with pdef ornaments or casters with elemental or evasion stuff. And refines at higher levels just show that you actually care about your gear and aren't a lazy ****. Getting +4 average on your gears is still kinda lazy, but acceptable at 10x but at least it shows that you're making the attempt and will probably continue to do so once you're recruited instead of leech salary by showing up as a reserve...

You have to have an average baseline that people should have to fill to even be accepted, sure it's not completely fair, that's just how you have to do it to win TW. Not everyone needs +12 8jun weapons with fully event sharded event gear... you just have to have some decent equipment that is proper for your class and refine it like you're serious.

It doesn't take any cash shopping to get nice gears or decent refines, it just takes some hard work... cash shopping makes it easier, that's for sure, but if you're not at least willing to put in the hard work it takes to gear up, no faction will want to recruit you.
I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.

So basically what your saying is that your 8x barb which took you 9 months to lvl (which I assume u do not cash shop for since it took u so long) has higher hp than my 99 barb that I got to within a month? I also put the best into my barb. Just because it took me 1 moths doesnt mean the contrary (Except in my case it was cash).

If so, mine has 27k hp, what about yours?

I assume you didn't bother getting out of the house then and mommy took your dinner to your room. You possibly didn't sleep that much either.

This is what I see for those who lvl fast although some may cook for themselves but don't get out or get away from the computer.Don't forget about your health 105 lvl is insanely for those who have health issues. There are those who died by playing MMOs because of the high lvl costs. It is not worth it to get all my alts to max it would take about ten or so years.
Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.

I see several threads about which skills to max and which skills to skip while leveling. Maybe I'm missing something, but what is the rush to level as fast as you can? From what I see from rushing is that you get a high level gimp character. That is, one with just minimum skills and lesser armor.

To me, there is much more to this game than just xp points - there's a whole economy and many levels of skill. Personally, I hold my character at each level until all skills are maxed. I either dump extra xp into genies or do a series of suicide missions to reset level xp to 0%. I can always level by doing several public missions and/or oracles.

I also love the constant tweaking you can do to improve yourself (that's the software engineer in me) - between auctions, missions, manufacturing, tomes, etc.. there is always room for improvement. This is missed when you try to get to level 100 in a week - LOL.

Anyway, IMHO, it is better to be a strong level 50 that a weak level 80. I am just curious to why others feel that it's absolutely imperative that they reach end game status a fast as possible? What am I missing here?

It's some sort of game in the game to level quicker than others since there was a level ranking. Hyper stones, oracles, bhs made it too easy to level conventionally (rbs, grinding, quests etc.). And there is a difference between a lvl 90 to an lvl 100 char (with comparable gear) that can be played in TWs. Some gear can only be equipped at higher level. Some instances can be only accessed if you have a higher level.
What is maybe overseen that a higher level char has access to an instance but it's not enjoyable to play it anymore. I am doing rebirth gammas again with a new char and I have more fun than doing deltas with my main.

    Why rush to level?
    1. Higher level opens up more content to the game
    2. To keep up with ur friends so that u can still quest together (including BH, TT, FC, GV etc)
    3. Some guild policy requires u to reach a certain level within a certain time frame
    4. At higher level, rate of coin earning is higher
    5. New events introduced into PWI usually target the high level
    6. To stay competitive against others, especially red-named pk-ers
    7. So that u can enter ur dream guild before the slots are taken by others
    8. More skills + genie skills available = more fun
    9. Rush to Lv100 so you no longer have to worry about daily quests which free up time for ur real life (Some people do this, rush to 100 and quit)
    10. Its natural that one strives to be the best, to show off what they've got

Anyway, why are u trying to max ur skills at level 50? Do you know if you dont waste ur spirits on genie, by ~85 you usually have enough spirits to learn almost every skills. The only obstacle keeping u from doing it is ur coins, when skills begin to cost millions.

    Michael,

I read your posts and several points are correct, I have seen level 80/90+ players with NPC gear, 2* weapons and so on. I even saw a barb without chest armor in a BH and when I offered to give him a mold for a legendary chest. The guild leader felt kind of ashamed of having a guildy in such state of gear that inmediately gave him some gear (prior me giving him anything).

However, I dont think people come here to do hard work, neither to spend money to avoid hard work, people come here to have fun and if they can have it with cheap gear, hey thats great (kudos to PWI for having such a game) and I respect that.

At the same time, I expect people to also do their roles in squad. Things I dont agree:

-A high level barb performing as main tank with npc nonstar armor and expecting healing from cleric is totally wrong in my books.

-Cleric performing as main healer and not healing for lack of pots or charms.

Again I cant force anyone to be a pro or to do things my way. If I dont agree the way people do things, hey I just leave squad or guild.

I totally think we should not be playing the game to continue "Keeping up with the Joneses" but to have fun and meet your role in the game.

As BM, my standard is to have either legendary/TT/3* for every gear I use and whoever says is not doable is lying as I have done it so far and having fun at the same time.

Again, you dont need top gear to have fun or meet your role in game but that requires more knowledge in how to play your character.

As a new player (started last Wednesday) I'm puzzled by alot of what people are mentioning in here.

Why did someone call a level 19 cleric a noob for asking how to buff other people? When the heck WOULD a new person learn group dynamics except at 19 when they first start grouping?

I've played for 6 days, mostly 4 hours a night, doing cultivation quests and whatever I spot in the "find quest" log. I read these boards, and somehow, without any sense/reasoning even found out I had done my FB19 and FB29 AND FB 39 (who knew Face Book sponsored instances lol).

When my cultivation level and points go up, I upgrade spells. When instances come up that I cant solo as a veno I group and ask questions. Its called LEARNING. From the arrogance some people here portray, you'd think you forgot that even you "old school" players that walked uphill to school both ways, were spoon fed all the spoilers from the MY version anyway. We all learn the game the same way, using the web and each other as resources to improve and have fun.

Also have the other side. Theres plenty of 95-101 players who have rushed their way there and have uber pr0 CS event gear but are really bad at their class.

Personally I see it like this: The problem with oracling compared to doing it the old fashioned way is similar to... using steroids to make yourself stronger compared to weightlifting and learning how to do whatever you need to be strong for. The difference is that there's no actual learning involved with the former, which would be like being immensely strong, but not having the strategy to be an extremely good fighter, who ends up kicking the butt of the not-as experienced, the latter most likely to comprehend how they had consistently been beaten by someone who either may be potentially weaker, or of equal strength. What I see the OP doing actually seems to be a balance between the two, and if I had the money to do it, I'd have done something similar myself, grinding and questing to get the spirit and money needed for all my skills to reach their highest possible levels, and then oracle when I finally have everything as far as it will go for that level, then repeat. That way, I get the proper class experience, and at the same time, I can be as strong as I feel I'd need to be.

So for the ppl that do spend 500+ hrs getting their lvl and gear, my sacrifice was minimal.

MMORPG Fail. Have fun getting bored in a few weeks. Maybe months if you're such nerded. But the day will come. And after this you will realize where your money is gone.

I made my lvl 90 Barb without any Oracle (except the dropped ones), Hyper EXP and so on within the last 10 months (2 months break) and yeah i got my first BHs in the 60s so i think thats the way to play a RPG.

I'm mostly commenting on people that want to be in a TW faction and actually be able to hold their own in a TW. You can expect to play tag-football with a bunch of friends, but once you want to get in a league, be it minor or major... the luxury and fun become dedication and training. It's the same as in this game for TWs for the most part. TWs aren't a relaxing and casual part of the game. You're pretty much required to farm pk pots, upgrade your gear, give up your friday/saturday or sunday evening and prepare to burn a few charms, several hundred thousand coin worth of pk pots and to work hard to win, or even lose. TW is like this on any Perfect World server you can name, not just here. It's a Chinese mmo where you are supposed to work hard to achieve your goals. Sure PW has been changing to try to accomodate many of the newer casual gamers, but this isn't really a casual game. Just look at how difficult it is to farm some end-game gear to know to realize this much.

You've been in smaller factions before, I would assume. I have been. They always scream for TW but rarely will show the effort or dedication to trying to win one, even if there are overwhelming odds.

There's nothing wrong if you want to lvl to 100 as fast as you can, but if you don't take the time and effort to level your skills, afford decent gear once you hit 9x, and shard and refine it a bit, you can't expect to be given preferential treatment over someone who has.

If you leveled up the old-fashioned way, you would have time to farm your gears, refine stuff and get nice gears and lvl11 skills by the time you hit 100. Not anymore. You're expected to cash shop it if you can't farm it, and I'm not wrong in saying that, I think.
I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.

Ok....For anyone in a rush to lvl, especially if their the BM class, all i can say is. GOOD LUCK KEEPING YOUR SKILLS AT THE SAME LVL AS YOU!

"Hyper/Oracle Noobs" are some of the more crappy players, sorry but it's the truth.

"Oracle Noobs" only understand very little of their class, most (80%) only understand how to attack and use pots. Some (15%) understand how to use their skills, and how to kite, and some other terms. The rare (5%) "Oracle Noob" will understand how to stun, kite, attack, PK, tank, etc, etc.

"Hyper Noobs", now i will say this ahead of time: HYPER NOOBS ARE ABOUT 50% BETTER THEN "Oracle Noobs", The REASON is that they ACTUALLY HAVE TO GRIND ON MOBS TO GET THE EXPERIENCE.
Ok, now that i've said that i'll continue. "Hyper Noobs" are also bad, because they only understand a few things. Usually they understand how to use their skills (which is a + compared to most (80%) of "Oracle Noobs"), how to use pots/charms/healing spells/etc, and then there are a few who understand how to work inside parties and what their jobs will be and how to work out who does what.

To anyone who wishes to lvl to 100 in 1 week. I hope you have fun trying to lvl all your skills your lvl, then doing all your culti's, and getting enough knowledge to even be considered to things such as FCC (more commonly know around PWI as FF) squads, FB Squads, TT Squads, Eden/Brim Squads, etc.

You do realize that most of us that oracle to 100 are ppl with other characters right...? For example i had a 96 bm and 99 barb on LC before i power lvled my new BM in Harshlands to 99. I did that because I was in LC during the old days - where 69 cape, helm of aqua V, misty rings and tt90 green/gold were considered endgame and no one paid attention to fists. So ya, I know how to played a bm. Hard not to when u reach 90 TWICE. And we do get spirit, cuz FC gives about 500k spirit per run with hypers, so don't tell me that we cant get our skills, 6x nub.

    QQ Who shot the drama-lama.

The above poster mentioned that he previously already had a higher lvl char, so he didn't bother wasting time trying to lvl more at the same rate. If u go bm bm you're no prob. But I seen some that do an oracle alt of other class... um they think they know how the mechanics work... they seen it... but in fact they don't get it ._.
One friend has 3 chars over +100 this was done without hyper & very minimal oracling just to get last % from some lvls. Yet when rolled a new char was asking me questions about the new rolled alts class all the time, pretty basic questions from my perspective b:chuckle Also I got to hear some QQs about party wipes from inexp in the new role. But they doing very good now with some practice & advice
