TW time in europe

This has been asked so many times... the answer is gonna be 'no.' The TW times are based on the US, meaning that the times will cater to people there. Plus, changing times to cater to your part of the world will make others QQ about how their time is now bad for them. It's a lose-lose situation. Best not to mess with it.

If I remember correctly, there's a European version, move there if you don't like it.

you get up early, go to sleep early so you can get up for TW then if it means that much to you

well poor bloody u, u wud have to finish at 1am...i seriously wud feel sorry for u if that ever happened...
im on arch with a tw time of 4am for me and ur b1tching about if u wud have to put up with 10pm till 1am, a -3 hour tw time wud be great for europe and america, since tw is on weekends and most ppl can play then regardless of time (i said most not all) it wud mean the...poor? ppl such as u wud have tw at 4pm which is nothing to complain about, and we wud have tw around 1am...which is an improvement.

this tw time wont change i already no, i aint even expecting it to, but then theres ppl like u that just need to **** about something so stupid as a 10pm start time.

Just to mention, if you are seriously willing to stay on PW after midnight or get up before 6 a.m for a TW, you have no life. I once stayed up til 1 a.m because there was a really cool event, but I seriously feel sorry for people who have nothing better to do at nights (like, party :P, or sleep maybe?)

So if there's a person who finds it not normal to have a TW when they're supposed to sleep, it's completely OK.

I don't do TWs and I ain't planning on ever starting to do them, so I personally don't care what time they take place. It's not possible to find a time that suits everyone. But people shouldn't change their habits because of that.



EDIT: My apologies for not saying it earlier, but of course it's normal if you play PW at night when you have to work at night and stay up because of that. Or if it's during weekends and you really haven't got anything else to do.

Let me get this straight: if you play PW til 3 a.m for instance, but still get 6 hrs of sleep at least, have a normal social life outside of your computer and family, and go to work/ school when you're supposed to, it's all normal. Sadly there are many people who don't have normal lives, and usually, they are the ones who disagree first if someone points it out. So if you still think I'm wrong, talk to a psychologist or smth, and then we can discuss it again. Really, I don't care how you live your life, I just hope that people notice when they have a problem and do smth about it. And I'm not the only person who thinks so.

i gotta say it WOULD be cool if they changed the TW times...to either earlier or better yet move it to weekday days instead of the weekend. Cuz seriously Fri, Sat, Sun from 7-10pm? ok sun not so bad and unlike the other dude above im not gonna say people have no life cuz i even play sum weekend nights too. sumtimes all i wanna do is play this damn game lol, but most the time im out and so are other people fri and sat night.

So yup itd be nice to move it or change the time but like EVERYONe said it aint gonna happen. Especially if its sumone in completly diferent country and time zone wants it changed for themselves :P

maybe it would be interesting to change TW bidding system...
...maybe attacker would be able to choose time of attack from various times (not just 9,14,20) then it could be a bit of advantage for attacker nah? closer to reality maybe...
...maybe it would bring some changes into strategy of TW...and maybe more ppl will accommodate to TW coz of different timezones...
...maybe best TW factions will get new opponents that can rise from better TW times...and maybe new better TW facts will appear...
...maybe it will show how ppl can work together as team if there wont be fixed time for TW...
...maybe finally attacker will get some advantage...
...maybe rest of the world can got some benefits along with america...
...maybe some will read this opinion...
...maybe some constructive feedback will be posted...
...and maybe some ideas implemented...

Here's a thought. Some of us are night shifters. Which means on my days off, I normally am awake when most "Normal" people are asleep. Does that mean I have no life, because I choose to play PW, since there's really nothing open because my days off are in the middle of the week? I have to work when everyone is doing TW, due to my work schedule. And here's a little interesting tidbit. I'm okay with that. Why should I cry that my bizarre schedule prevents me from enjoying most of the late night events and TW? It was my choice to work that shift. Just like it's your choice to stay up late to do TW, or to not stay up. If you're an adult, you have the option to get a different schedule so you can participate in a TW. Just because it inconveniences you, doesn't mean that the entire system needs to be moved to fit "your" needs, because then you'd be inconveniencing everyone else who got used to the original system.

so is wanting times to change to suit you. (general) there's a EU version of the game from what I'm aware of, so it's not like this is the only option you have. and for the whole "it's 6am start time" when you chose your server you knew what you were getting into. 6am start time isn't horendous, I get up around that regularly, hence why I like to be in bed by 11pm. I wouldn't care if it was that time, I'd be just getting up anyway.

What if the TW bidders could ... gather in a chat room and work out a certain time that would work for both of them? Say faction 'A' is attacking faction 'Z' and it proposes 7pm pacific time, then the faction 'Z' agrees, or they try and 'negotiate' the hour. A lot of people are unable to do TW because of the hours. It'd be more fair if the TW time was customizable in some way. Making it an hour earlier or later will always make others QQ (there are asians on us servers, aussies, europeans, and others; changing servers is often a dumb idea)

P.S. The European servers probably suck because the Europeans are playing here, if there were enough people playing the EU version to give them a reason to fix it, then maybe they would o.o

Actually no they wouldnt. It could be based at their current location without any problem. All they would need to do is change the server clock to GMT.

Would people complain any less if it was called Perfect World America? Just out of curiosity...many of the complaints is about the name being "International" so it should be. If it was "America" instead, would you still be upset
