Sage Psy seems a little better ...
but the demon's Psychic Will 2second more is O.O (+ the 4% more damage on soul of vengeance).
But just thinking of +5% all damage + remove squad's negatives status with Bubble is : fweew godly. +The 2sec more Soulburn duration >.< +I prefer having +3attack lvl with Black voodoo than +3def

Huh? Thought Sage is givin 2 more seconds to Psychic Will. (in Ascii's thread he thought he mixed them up, but actually he didn't as it seems)
And to me the soul of vengeance of sage seems more useful, cuz u can cast it on barbs now. For selfuse it isn't that useful in the later lvls...u don't tank and u don't grind that much (and even while grinding - ure not close range attack). PvP maybe but no Psy tank's that much to deal a great amount of dmg with vengeance.

well demon don't seem all that bad, 100% chance to paralyze, decrease 30 opponent atk lvl, Bleed more, more chance to silence, longer stunn all seem pretty good. Demon White voodoo reduce channel of all skill while in white voodoo state, but 3% channel hardly make a different. Demon Aqua Canon and Landslide have the downside of "chance", but it's more useful than sage landslide.
On the other hand Sage psy have longer psychic will, soulburn, better diminished/ empower vigor and pretty much tough to kill with extra 5def lvl on white voodoo. Also Tide Spirit is improved with longer time duration and I can see its use. Sage psychic is wat seem like the true witch doctor of the game, annoying and hard to kill.

Yea I was wondering about that too. But the original post didn't have it either.
As for the skills, it looks pretty balanced and I don't feel bad getting my feet wet going demon before all this info was released. Demon shard with its 100% chance to immobilize makes it worth it joining the dark side (hopefully it does get implemented lol).0 -

Red Tide : about 4000 damage per 2 seconds for 9 seconds ? (how many reduction we get ?)

sage seems like the pve path - with more of utility and increased survivability
demon is more of a pvp path - increased dmg on dot ticks , more crit , more dmg , more pvp goodies
BUT all benefits sage gives are kind of nice in pvp too .... but some skills seem wrong translated or would be really unbalanced.....0 -

and I dunno about others, but 100% paralyze is surely overpower, demon glacial shard -> dd -> earth vector -> dd -> demon glacial shard -> dd -> soul of stunning/ run-> repeat = omg )
also, soul of stunning and soul of retaliation share cooldown, which mean sage soul of retaliation also benefit from sage soul of stunning *reduce 5s cooldown*

Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze0 -

6 secs Charm cooldown (I think that's one of the most OP things), Bubble of life = group purge if it's not only working on urself (Will be nice to know how useful it is in TW), Psychic Will = Immune to physical dmg for 10 seconds, Vengeance will be nice for Barbs now (since it doesn't suck their mana anymore), Retalation absorbs even more dmg and the 5% more dmg are also more of an dmg boost than 1% crit in my imagination.
Feel free to give me reasons for Demon, cuz I hardly find some...maybe I just underrate something[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Sage looks like the way to go, but we can't say anything for sure till the official Sage/Demon is out.0

This was kinda tough. There are a lot of sage skills I like and a lot of demon skills I like. However, I did as I did with my cleric and went down the line to pick which I wanted more, sage or demon of each skill. It was overwhelming that I picked demon for sooooo many of the skills. So I guess that is it, if these don't change, demon it is.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Bubble of life is a purify taking away negative statuses.
Some of the reasons i like demon:
Demon Aqua cannon adds an extra 4k damage which is HUGE!
Tide Spirit adds more damage. The negative channeling is useless since psys already have pretty fast channeling.
Red Tide bleeds more damage.
glacial shards has an 100% chance to freeze. Thats a garuanteed freeze every 8 seconds making WRs and WBs nonfactor.
Landslide adds more damage on top of its already beautiful damage
You can shoot off an earth vector from 32 meters
Psychic Will lasts longer
Soul of Vengence reflects more damage
Soul of stunning stuns longer allowing for more combos.
Sage has some decent effects too but i like way more demon effects than i do sage.Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.

Hm yeah that's quite nice but I was more thinking of how I play so I couldn't figure it out to be useful for me.
Anyways, Psychic will still is extended as Sage, not as Demon. This thread OP got the correct descritpion, Ascii mixed those up and didn't edit them afterwards.
Aquad Cannons effect is rly nice...since it deals the most dmg after red tide but doesn't need any chi. Dmg with demon tide spirit and double spark must be awesome but we get triple spark anyways...I wonder which deals higher dmg, triple or the combo mentioned before.
Dmg-wise demon will defenitely go higher with some skills, but I just love 6 seconds charm cooldown so much since I'm a squishie and mainly interested in PvP/TWb:dirty[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0
