Seriously? Seriously?

So that leaves... what? The Nienbeast, Lucky Kirin, Black Raptor, Midnight, Nightfall and the Bad Panda as the only rare and limited mounts, now? -edit- My mistake. There's also the Bulbfish, Tidal Serpent and Undead Bulbfish?

I should have kept my Midnight rather than trading it for an Ancient Boa. Oh if only I had known how screwed I would have been this coming week, I wouldn't have done it. [Admittedly, actually, I'm not too upset. The Midnight sat on my main account hardly ever ridden, but it was a freakin' horse on fire. In the end I only traded it for the Boa because I like the snake just as much, it moves faster and... my alt needed a mount. ._. ]

I was well aware that things would eventually be released permanently into the boutique but you've just made a lot of people unhappy.
And quite possibly a few people happy, too.

I can't really say I'm one of them. I'm not angry as such, but seriously. Some mounts should... you know, stay rare. -.-"

    Nothing on PWI is rare. Ever. It started with the bikinis and has been slowly expanding to everything else. Always assume your priceless, one-of-a-kind item is going to be available for mass purchase during the next week's update of the boutique.

    They'll have +4 defense level stones when that time comes.

    I liked when the Scarlet Ninetails was a rare mount... I remember when there were like, 5 on a server i think, and they where selling for 55millions, and i was saving up my coins to get one b:sweat
    I really wanted one since the first time i saw it, so it was kinda like a goal to me to get one... now i don't know anymore... b:sad

    Now this makes me think twice if i'll ever sell my Tidal Serpent...

    Goldmane lion is pretty rare.

    Also don't forget white panther and that lionfish mount.

    The Goldmane and Purgatory lion I forgot.

    The Lionfish is an aerogear mount for untamed and hasn't been released yet.

    The white panther mount isn't currently owned by anybody as nobody has gotten it from the PQ reward yet. Or at least, they haven't as far as I'm aware.

    Counting my blessings for now, but I know Nikodemus won't stay unique forever.

    Shame to see the Ninetails in there, though I can understand the other three being added.

    Ah yes, a tank (o.O" Euh... what a tank going in this game?!) will be a new mount too. I dont know if the rate will be correct or difficult.


    EDIT: Its a mistakes of GM, I think. I saw thats event when they writte it.(↑). Its a "lucky pack" for the St-patrick's day

    I have to admit actually, I can see the Battlecat being in there. The Hellhound... not quite so much, but still plausible. The Ninetails was just "Yeah kay, whatever" - I personally don't like the mount but it's kind of sad to see it appearing as a perma-mount in the boutique.

    So the new still semi-rare/rare mount list has gone up to...

    Black Raptor, Neinbeast, Lucky Kirin, Tidal Serpent, Pigsly, Goldmane Lion, Purgatory Lion Lord, Midnight, Nightfall, Bulbfish, Undead Bulbfish and the oh-so-elusive White Panther

    ... That's actually a lot more than I first listed, so maybe I was a little misleading in my OP. Although then again... I dislike a lot of these mounts. I own a Black Raptor, would kill for a White Panther and am an ex-owner of Midnight, but... for the most part the rest of the mounts could be made permanent and I just wouldn't care.

    Shoulda kept your Midnight and just bought the Ancient Boa.

    FWIW, the only *rare* mounts are the Goldmane Lion and Bulbfish. All of the rest you mention have been in the cash shop. The Midnight and that green horse haven't been in the cash shop, just in halloween packs, but they're only 10m/s and aren't really worth as much as a real rare mount.

    And I understand where you're coming from, I was the first person on Lost City to have Bad Panda, and 2 days before they put them in the cash shop, I was offered 100m for it and refused.

    You need to learn there is nothing sacred or special in PWI for any length of time. It will eventually make it into the cash shop.

    I already knew this. Did you read where I said:

    That aside, I should have kept my Midnight, but when you can't spur it and it runs slower than mounts that technically cost less than it does... well. The only reason I traded for the Boa was because I couldn't sell the horse in the first place.

    This statement is wrong. Midnight was the one that you can only get in Halloween packs. Nightfall was later put into boutique for a short while for anyone who wanted a Midnight look alike. Midnight is the "rarer" of the two. So I would like to thank PWE for not putting Midnight into the boutique instead. I picture of there was a decision of picking one of the two to place into the cash shop, it would go to the Nightfall.

    Nightfall was placed directly for sale in the boutique? I hadn't noticed. Probably because I already have a Midnight, didn't care for the stinky green one, and just didn't really care overall. Midnight isn't really rare since there were a bunch out from the first Halloween event as well. Perhaps not on your sever though. Midnights on LC aren't uncommon.

    HT has a handful of Midnights, so they are still considered "rare". There wasn't a ton of people who got it out of the Halloween packs. I'm glad when gold was still ~100k, I had bought the midnight off of someone for 3m. Now it goes anywhere from 11m+. Not too sure about the price though since I have one and don't plan to sell it anytime soon.

    I have to admit I agree with Airyll, I just bought my Scarlet Ninetails yesterday in game for more than they are selling it in the boutique, and I was willing to pay that much cause I didn't like the idea of everyone having the same mount, just a select few.

    Now while it makes it much easier for my alts to now get one, I have to admit I am disspointed, I would rather have waited for the opportunity to by more for them through persistence as opposed to it being readily avilable to any noob past lvl 20, the least they could have done was increase the required lvl to ride, so there would be some distinction between the original ones and the new mass production copies. b:cry

    at least you still have to be lvl 60 to ride the battle cat and hellhound. make sure no noobs can get their nooby little hands on them.

    Unless those mounts are already at 11m/s then i will just buy the spurs to increase its speed and lower its lvl requirement, this noob will be enjoying her cat next week =D

    All the mounts that have been released into the boutique this addition cannot be spurred. It says so on the boutique description, to boot. Only the Boa and Ninetails can be used below level 60, but even they cannot be spurred.

    Nightfall is as rare as Midnight, if not rarer because Midnight has been around for two Halloween events and Nightfall only one.

    Nightfall was never released in the boutique. It was available from one of two Halloween packs last Halloween - one pack had the chance to contain Nightfall and the other Midnight.

    Neither of the two Halloween horse mounts has been sold in the boutique, ever. And by standards, Nightfall is rarer than it's orange counterpart because it has only appeared in one Halloween event, where as Midnight appeared in two.

    Well, don't even know if it can be traded. But I haven't seen one since a long ago, for now. [they dissapeared somehow, making them now rare?] <_<

    And, since I returned from vacations, haven't do any PQ. Forgot about the White Panter. [and I want one of those... >_>]

    And something else: if anyone at level 20 got a mount, then it's a noob? I mean, if a start an alt, it'll be at level 1 as well. If it has the chance to have a mount at lower level, why do people call it a noob? [of course, this isn't the same for all, but for the ones calling it like that].

    Like, no all low levels are noobs. But there are too many high level ones.

    ... Meh. Lobster isn't really a rare, rare mount. I see quite a few. I do suppose I should add it to the list though.

    And I agree with you on the whole low level business.

    My archer main has a black raptor, my veno has a Boa and spurred deer, and... I don't know which between the Boa and Deer I want to give to my 2x Sin.
